The present invention is directed to a clarifier for water treatment including a module. The module includes a planar inclined sheet; a plurality of vertically-oriented supports; and a tensioner. The at least one planar inclined sheet is tensioned between the plurality of vertically-oriented supports and the tensioner is configured to bring the planar inclined sheet to an even centerline.
PORTABLE ELECTROLYTIC WATER PURIFIER
A portable electrolytic water purifier includes a housing, a base, a first conducting grid plate, a second conducting grid plate and an electrolytic circuit module. The housing has a container coupling portion. The base is mounted inside the housing and has an assembly ring connected with the container coupling portion. The second and first conducting grid plates are respectively mounted inside the assembly ring, are overlapped in a top-down manner, and are located under an opening of the container coupling portion. The electrolytic circuit module is mounted inside the housing and is electrically connected to the first and second conducting grid plates. After a container filled with water is inversely placed on the water purifier, the first and second conducting grid plates are immersed in water to decompose the water into electrolyzed water through electrolysis.
Method and apparatus to separate per-and polyfluoroalkyl substances (PFAS) from water using colloidal gas aphrons (CGAs)
A method for the decontamination of water containing one or more PFAS, having the steps of generating colloidal gas aphrons (CGAs) by mixing a gas, water, and one or more surfactants together with high shear forces, introducing the CGAs and a PFAS-containing water in an enclosed space where the CGAs move upwards through the water due to their inherent buoyancy, allowing the plurality of CGAs to extract PFAS from the water, and separating the PFAS-containing CGAs from the surface of the water in the enclosed space for further treatment or disposal, leaving the water with lower PFAS concentrations in the vessel. The aphrons may be anionic or cationic and created by mixing speeds or surfactant concentration, and treatment may be with gas bubbles to remove PFAS from water gas bubbles or destruction of PFAS by plasma reactor or deployed in situ through wells into geologic ground formations.
LIQUID TREATMENT SYSTEM AND METHOD
Provided is a method for treating a liquid, the method including: receive a liquid; passing the liquid through a generator to cut and shear the liquid and releasing the resultant liquid for use. Also provided is a liquid treatment system including: a source of liquid; a generator in fluid communication with the liquid source which cuts and shears the liquid; a pump which produces liquid flow through the system; and an outlet through which the treated liquid flows.
METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR SELF-CONTAINED FLUID CLEANING APPARATUS
A fluid cleaning system for cleaning contaminated water sources via at least one cleaning process. The system includes at least one solids dissociation apparatus that includes a housing, at least one insert operably engaged with the housing and is adapted to receive a continuous fluid stream, and a transducer operably engaged with the housing and is disposed about the at least one insert at a distance away from said at least one insert inside of the housing. The transducer is configured to create cavitation, via sonic waves, to eviscerate contaminants in the continuous fluid stream. The system also includes at least one solids separation apparatus operably connected with the at least one fluid treatment apparatus for receiving the eviscerated contaminants provided in the fluid stream. The at least one solids separation apparatus is adapted to separate the eviscerate contaminants from the fluid stream for at least one separation process.
Evaporation panel assemblies, systems, and methods
The present disclosure is drawn to evaporation panel assemblies, systems, and methods. For example, a modular evaporation panel system can include a plurality of evaporation panels with individual evaporation panels including evaporation shelves that are laterally elongated, vertically stacked, and spaced apart; vertical support columns positioned along the evaporation shelves to vertically support and separate the evaporation shelves; female-receiving openings defined by multiple evaporation shelves and multiple support columns; and male connectors positioned at lateral ends of the evaporation panels. The male connectors can be releasably receivable by the female-receiving openings of an adjacent evaporation panel, thereby providing modular assembly and disassembly of multiple evaporation panels relative to one another.
Ammonia Stripper
An ammonia stripper has an aerator and heat exchanger tubing in a tank. The aerator and coil are preferably attached to a frame to form a removable cassette. The cassette may also include a lid for the tank. The tank is preferably rectangular and optionally can be made with the dimensions of a standard shipping container. In a process, water flows through the tank while air bubbles are produced through the aerator. A heating medium such as water flows through the heat exchanger tubing. A gas containing ammonia is withdrawn from a headspace of the tank.

Provided is a water treatment device configured to perform a deionization treatment for the water to be treated, and the water treatment device includes a pressing member, a treatment container configured to store the water to be treated, a first electrode and a second electrode accommodated in the treatment container, a separator arranged between the first electrode and the second electrode, and a pair of collectors, which are accommodated in the treatment container, and are configured to apply a voltage to the first electrode and the second electrode. The pressing member is configured to press the first electrode and the second electrode in the treatment container.
