COUNTER CIRCULATING LIQUID PROCESSING SYSTEM BY REPEATEDLY RE-USING THERMAL ENERGY
A liquid desalination, distillation, disinfection, purification, or concentration system by repeatedly re-using thermal energy is provided. Thermal heat source can be solar, fossil fuel, or low grade heat discharged from industrial systems. Multiple thermally insulated and isolated stages of vaporization-condensation chambers can be connected to enhance production yield. Vapor is generated by direct heating of liquid and flash evaporation. Vapor generated is condensed in condenser cooled by intake liquid. Counter circulating intake liquid will be heated by released latent heat from vapor. Externally provided thermal energy will accumulate and be re-used in the system. Vaporization and condensation process will be continuously re-cycled to enhance production yield. The system can be configured to support flexible deployment in various configurations and in different locations, including direct floating installation on water surface.

A plurality of filters for filtering the water from the intake, filter the water to remove solid contaminated before running the filtered water through the reverse osmosis system to the discharge device and purified water lines. Herein also disclosed is a wastewater discharge system. In an embodiment, the system comprises a control panel that controls, the offshore structure plurality of filters, plurality of reverse osmosis filters, purified water line and effluent discharge device, to achieve favorable water purification. Herein also described is a method that utilizes the apparatus and/or system disclosed herein. In an embodiment, the method comprises: obtaining an offshore structure comprising a water purification system, flowing water into an inlet device, pumping the water through a filtration system, flowing the filtered water through a plurality of reverse osmosis filters; flowing purified water through a purified water line; and flowing discharge effluent through a discharge device.
SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR ACTIVATING AND DEWATERING SLUDGE USING ACOUSTIC PRESSURE SHOCK WAVES
A method of activating and dewatering sludge through application of acoustic pressure shock waves to wastewater.
System and Method for Monitoring Water Treatment Systems
Methods and systems are described for monitoring and managing fluid treatment or storage systems, such as HVAC hydronic water systems. Sensors located at a fluid system can detect various types of data, such as chemical amounts, pressures, temperatures, flow rates, and more. Servers in communication with the sensors can record the data and provide it to a user in a variety of graphical interfaces. One useful interface for display of the data includes a five-sided axis called the OPTI-GON.
Automated water treatment trailer for processing multiple fluids simultaneously
A secure automated water treatment trailer and method of inserting chemical in a pipeline, the trailer having a frame with at least one axle and a tongue, a base, a plurality of connected walls, a weather proof top engaging each of the plurality of connected walls opposite the base forming an enclosure, a pair of locking doors, a plurality of discharge ports, a plurality of suction ports, a charging port, a skid, a plurality of a controller in communication with each of the pumps and a network, a plurality of pressure gauges, a generator, a plurality of valves, and a plurality of back pressure valves. The secure automated water treatment trailer automatically processes multiple fluids simultaneously into the pipeline. Each fluid has fluid characteristics and a specific gravity.
Fractal system for recursive separation of contaminants from a flowable medium
A recursive fractal system provides low cost, high throughput removal of contaminants, selected compounds, and elements from a flowable medium. This includes low energy desalination of saltwater, and removal contaminants from waste water. A series of concatenated, self-similar, co-axially aligned fractal stages are provided for defining a flow path for receiving the flowable medium, such as salt water. The configuration of self similar fractal stages as a succession of venturis recursively accelerates and separates flow vectors at each stage without the need for pumping. The series of venturis have been found to accelerate the water to such an extent that an electro hydrodynamic field interaction is magnified at each successive stage, such that contaminants, heavy metals, salt, or other selected compounds are aggregated by an electromagnetic field signature, separated and extracted from the flowable medium.
OFFSHORE MOBILE PLATFORM FOR ELECTROCHEMICAL OCEAN IRON FERTILIZATION AND HYDROGEN GAS GENERATION
An ocean iron fertilization (OIF) method and system for electrochemically controlled release of iron in an ocean to stimulate growth of phytoplankton to increase CO.sub.2 sequestration by the ocean. The system includes a cathode submerged or floating in the ocean; an iron or iron-producing anode submerged or floating in the ocean spaced apart from the cathode; and a power supply unit connected to the cathode and the anode. The power supply unit drives electric current between the cathode and the anode such the anode generates oxygen (O.sub.2) and ferrous iron through electrolysis to be released in the ocean, and the cathode produces hydrogen (H.sub.2) and hydroxide (OH—) species through an electrochemical reaction at the cathode.
DISTILLATION PROCESSES, DISTILLATION UNITS, AND SYSTEMS THEREFOR
Processes and systems suitable for purifying or otherwise treating liquids to remove contaminants therein, including but not limited to contaminated water, to permit reclaiming, recycling, and reuse of the liquids. Such a process and system entails the use of a cascading distillation system that evaporates a liquid from the feedstock and then condenses and collects a more purified form of the liquid. The cascading distillation system can be operated to selectively process the feedstock through any of a series of vessels at which different amounts and/or contaminants may be removed from the feedstock.
