Grey-water processing device for rail vehicles
A processing device for grey water for a rail vehicle includes a grey water container, a grey water supply in an inlet region, a drain for processed grey water in an outlet region, and a slotted filter between the inlet and outlet regions that has at least one movable sliding member which touches the base of the grey water container in a lowered position and is lifted off the base in a raised position. The base of the grey water container rises from the inlet region to the outlet region. A cleaning outflow is disposed in the inlet region on the base side. A fresh water supply for supplying fresh water is disposed in the outlet region. A rail vehicle having at least one processing device for grey water for a toilet module or toilet bowl is also provided.
Device comprising a reactor facility and method for the electrolytic treatment, with relation to flow dynamics, of fluid or gaseous media or mixtures of the two in the reactor facility, and use of the device and the method
The invention relates to a device consisting of a reactor facility for the electrolytic treatment, with relation to flow dynamics, of fluid or gaseous media or mixtures of the two. In the context of this invention, electrolytic treatment with relation to flow dynamics means the combination of the production of at least one rotating fluid eddy and the eversion of the eddy by means of electrolysis taking place in the reactor facility. The guided fluid eddy is efficiently treated, cleaned and disinfected by this combination in the reactor facility according to the invention. The invention further relates to a method for the electrolytic treatment, with relation to flow dynamics, of fluid media in the reactor facility according to the invention.
METHOD FOR SEQUESTRATION OF CARBON DIOXIDE USING A BODY OF WATER AND A SUSPENDED PLATFORM THEREFOR
A platform for sequestering carbon dioxide using a body of water is described. The platform has a vessel for holding solid metal hydroxide and for exposing the solid metal hydroxide to a flow of water to create a solution of a metal hydroxide having a pH level. The solution containing metal hydroxide is released into the body of water, causing a reaction with the carbon dioxide present in the body of water, thereby producing metal carbonate/bicarbonate, thus sequestering the carbon dioxide. A choice of the metal in the metal hydroxide, a rate of the releasing the solution containing the metal hydroxide into the body of water, and a flow rate of the flow of water so that to substantially maintain the solution containing the metal hydroxide at the pH level that is defined as environmentally safe and not changing chemistry of seawater. A corresponding method is also provided.
PORTABLE POTABLE WATER FILTRATION
A disinfection system for treating water. In a specific example, the system treats water prior to its upload to an aircraft or other passenger transportation vehicle. One or more replaceable filters are positioned within a filter chamber housing in order to expose water flowing through the system to filtration treatment.

SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR REMOVAL OF CARBON DIOXIDE FROM SEAWATER
The present invention generally relates to systems and methods for the separation and removal of carbon dioxide from a liquid, for example, seawater. The systems include an extraction system that collects carbon dioxide from the seawater through a medium, and removes carbon dioxide from the medium; the extraction systems comprising a reactor and a membrane. Alternatively, the extraction system includes a reactor, a membrane and a catalyst.
SYSTEM FOR PROCESSING MEATS WITH AQUEOUS OZONE
A system for meat processing may include: a conveyor configured to transport animal carcasses or portions of meat through a meat processing facility; and a spray system configured to spray each of the animal carcasses or portions of meat with aqueous ozone when each of the animal carcasses or portions of meat is transported to the spray system by the conveyor. The system may further include a second spray system configured to spray each of the animal carcasses or portions of meat with lactic acid or citric acid when each of the animal carcasses or portions of meat is transported to the second spray system by the conveyor.
Docking Station for Mobile Deionization Trailers and Related Methods
A docking station at a service site fluidly connectable to a mobile water treatment system having one or more deionization units comprises a fluid inlet configured to receive processed water from the mobile water treatment system and a fluid outlet configured to deliver the processed water to a point of use. The docking station also comprises a monitoring system configured to monitor at least one water quality parameter of the processed water, and a processor configured to receive the monitored water quality parameter and communicate with a central monitoring system disposed remotely from the station regarding the monitored water quality parameter.

The system may further include a second spray system configured to spray each of the animal carcasses or portions of meat with lactic acid or citric acid when each of the animal carcasses or portions of meat is transported to the second spray system by the conveyor.
PUBLICLY ACCESSIBLE URBAN BEACH ENTERTAINMENT COMPLEX WITH A CENTERPIECE MAN-MADE TROPICAL-STYLE LAGOON AND METHOD FOR PROVIDING EFFICIENT UTILIZATION OF LIMITED USE LAND
A publicly accessible urban beach entertainment complex is disclosed, with a man-made tropical, pristine-clear lagoon as the centerpiece of the complex, with surrounding entertainment, educational, sports, and commercial facilities, the complex having controlled public access and providing the look and feel of a tropical beach with clear waters and sandy beaches. In addition a method for efficiently utilizing facilities and land that are vacant, underutilized, have limited uses, or that are contiguous to or nearby recreational, educational, sports, or commercial venues is disclosed. The method providing a publicly accessible urban beach entertainment complex with a centerpiece man-made tropical-style pristine-clear lagoon. The method allows for generating revenue and increasing efficiency by pairing vacant sites, underutilized sites, limited use land, or sites that are contiguous to entertainment, educational, sports, and/or commercial venues with urban beach entertainment complexes. The complex preferably has a controlled public access, thereby allowing entrance upon payment of a fee.
