DEVICE FOR TREATING URANIUM TAILINGS WITH MICROORGANISM
20240331887 · 2024-10-03 ·

A device for treating uranium tailings with microorganism is provided and includes a treatment container, a spray water distribution assembly, a microbial incubator and a first pump. The water is transported from the microbial incubator to the spray water distribution assembly through the first pump, allowing the microorganisms to enter the interior of the uranium tailings in the treatment container. After treatment is completed, the water is collected by the water collection cylinder and sent back to the microbial incubator for recovery, so as to reduce the waste of microorganisms. The even distribution of horizontal spray pipes can evenly spray water containing microorganisms on the uranium tailings in the treatment container, which makes the distribution of microorganisms in the uranium tailings more uniform and can prevent inadequate treatment and improve the treatment efficiency of microorganisms on uranium tailings.

ANAEROBIC SUSPENDED GROWTH TREATMENT OF CONTAMINATED WATER

A system may include a reactor, in which an anaerobic environment exists, that includes a slurry of at least contaminated water and a mixed bacterial culture of facultative bacteria and anaerobic bacteria. The mixed bacterial culture may be suspended within the slurry. The contaminated water may include contaminants associated with a non-metal, a metal, or a metalloid. The mixed bacterial culture may react with the contaminated water to reduce or remove the contaminants from the contaminated water to create a treated slurry. The reactor may output the treated slurry. The system may also include a filtration device to receive the treated slurry; remove, from the treated slurry, the mixed bacterial culture and the contaminants, reduced or removed from the contaminated water, to create treated water; and output the treated water. The system may also include an aeration device to add dissolved oxygen to the treated water, and output the treated water. The system may also include a reaction device where iron or aluminum salts are added to remove phosphorous, selenite, arsenate, or other contaminants which adsorb onto iron or aluminum oxyhydroxide solids. The system may also include a filtration device to remove the solids from the water, and output the treated water.

Operating method for membrane separation device and membrane separation device
10010834 · 2018-07-03 · ·

A membrane separation device includes a separation membrane immersed in water to be treated and an air diffusion device positioned below the separation membrane, and provides treated water that has permeated through the separation membrane while diffusing air from the air diffusion device towards the separation membrane. A target value setting step sets a target value of an amount of diffusion air diffused from the air diffusion device based on a transmembrane pressure difference, and the air diffusion device is controlled such that the amount of the diffusion air becomes the target value. In the target value setting step, an absolute value of a change or a rate of change in the target value for increasing the amount of the air diffusion is set greater than an absolute value of a change or a rate of change in the target value for decreasing the amount of the air diffusion.
