BIOREFINERY METHOD AND SYSTEM FOR ISOLATED ENVIRONMENTS
A Biorefinery System (BIOSYS) that effectively treats all human activity-derived waste (black water, grey water, and food waste streams) using biological systems and that produces as process by-products: recovered potable water, liberated free oxygen, edible protein cake (with and without lipids), soil amendments, and machinery lube oils. Additionally, the system captures and chemically binds carbon dioxide into microbial cells and associated by-products, thus producing recovered usable returned cabin air.
WATER TREATMENT DEVICES
Embodiments of the invention include water treatment systems and components for water treatment systems that possess a collapsed and an expanded configuration, that can be easily transported in the collapsed configuration and expeditiously set up in the field into their expanded configuration. The embodiments include trickle filter/clarifier combinations, upflow anaerobic digester reactors, recirculating anaerobic digesters and their components. In preferred embodiments the volume of the expanded configurations is at least four times the volume of the collapsed configurations.
MICROBUBBLE AERATOR
An aerating system for treating a waste lagoon or some type of wastewater that captures and recirculates air that has been previously pumped into the lagoon via a skirt. The system also utilizes an oxygen source to pump oxygen into the waste lagoon or wastewater that can also be recirculated. A manifold of the system is designed to have intakes for both the recirculated air and for the oxygen source.
MOBILE, REPLACEABLE, AND REGENERABLE CARTRIDGE FOR TREATMENT OF WATER
The mobile water treatment cartridge is connectable into a water treatment circuit and includes fluid connectors and power and data connection ports. The cartridge includes an outer shell having an upper opening that can be hermetically sealed by a lid, and an inner shell having an opening at the top and delimiting an internal volume of the cartridge, in which all the technical equipment for operation of the cartridge is placed. The inner shell is secured to at least one structure that can be inserted into the interior volume through the opening. There is a device for handling the cartridge secured to the outer shell and a device for rendering the cartridge mobile.
Bio-electrochemical systems
The present invention provides bio-electrochemical systems having various configurations for the treatment of water, wastewater, gases, and other biodegradable matter. In one aspect, the invention provides bio-electrochemical systems configured for treating wastewater while generating multiple outputs. In another aspect, the invention provides bio-electrochemical systems configured for improving the efficiency of electrodialysis removal systems. In yet another aspect, the invention provides bio-electro-chemical systems configured for use in banks and basins.
Fluctuation zone state slope protection system that responds to hydrological changes
A fluctuation belt ecological slope protection system that responds to hydrological variation includes a runoff treatment system and an ecological floating island system. The runoff treatment system includes a grass planting side ditch and a water accumulation pit-pond. The ecological floating island system includes an ecological floating island and an ecological gabion base. The ecological floating island includes a flexible substrate, and aquatic plants. The ecological gabion base is positioned below the ecological floating island. The ecological protection system is suitable for a fluctuation belt and consists of a runoff treatment system and a separable ecological floating island system. Rain water on bank slope is purified and collected as wet soil is stabilized, the protection system responds to backwater water level variation in fluctuation belt, providing growing space for plants, organisms, and fish, following variation in water level, enriching the ecological environment of the fluctuation belt, and improving scenic effect.
METHODS FOR RECLAIMING PRODUCED WATER
A method for treating produced water from a fracking operation is disclosed. The produced water is first fed to a compact separator for the removal of suspended materials. This produced water is then treated for dissolved gases and suspended oils before being fed to a crystallizer where salts are separated from the produced water thereby producing fresh water for reuse or other means. Alternatively, the produced water may be fed to a disinfection system and a concentrator depending upon the composition of the produced water.
Pool cleaner impeller subassembly
Exemplary embodiments are directed to pool cleaners that remove debris from water using a plurality of cyclonic flows, or that include a removable impeller subassembly, a check valve for a debris canister, a particle separator assembly having a handle that locks to the pool cleaner, a modular roller drive gear box, or a roller latch that secures a roller to the pool cleaner. Exemplary embodiments are also directed to the check valve and the roller latch themselves. Exemplary embodiments are directed to a filter medium for pool cleaners that includes embossments providing flow channels for water, and to roller assemblies for pool cleaners. Exemplary embodiments are directed to pool cleaners including alternative pump motor engagements. Exemplary embodiments are directed to pool cleaners power supplies that include a potted and contoured power board assembly, and to kickstands therefor. Exemplary embodiments are directed to a pool cleaner caddy, and removable wheels therefor.
Method for treating fluid waste material
A system and method includes an aeration subsystem that excites enzymes in the liquid waste passing through the septic system. The aeration subsystem includes a compressor section that compresses the liquid waste. The method includes mixing enzymes into the fluid waste material, compressing the fluid waste material with the compressor, injecting air into the compressed fluid waste material, and determining whether the fluid waste material is at a desired cleanliness, and if not, recirculating the fluid waste material through the compressor.
Container-type apparatus with a suspended particle system for wastewater treatment
A container-type apparatus for wastewater treatment with a suspended particle system, including one or multiple biological reaction zones. The biological reaction zones can be facultative, anaerobic, anoxic, and aerobic and at least one of the biological reaction zones is a suspended particle system. Particles in the suspended particle system act as the carrier of microbiota and offer better conditions for them to grow. The apparatus adopts a box structure, such as a container type, which is convenient to move, flexible to assemble, and can be used multiple times. Based on actual requirements, this apparatus can also be a structure type. The suspended particle system can increase the concentration of microorganisms significantly, improve the ability to bear impact load, produce less sludge, and without sludge expansion.
