System for processing meats with aqueous ozone
A system for meat processing may include: a conveyor configured to transport animal carcasses or portions of meat through a meat processing facility; and a spray system configured to spray each of the animal carcasses or portions of meat with aqueous ozone when each of the animal carcasses or portions of meat is transported to the spray system by the conveyor. The system may further include a second spray system configured to spray each of the animal carcasses or portions of meat with lactic acid or citric acid when each of the animal carcasses or portions of meat is transported to the second spray system by the conveyor.
PUBLICLY ACCESSIBLE URBAN BEACH ENTERTAINMENT COMPLEX WITH A CENTERPIECE MAN-MADE TROPICAL-STYLE LAGOON AND METHOD FOR PROVIDING EFFICIENT UTILIZATION OF LIMITED USE LAND
A publicly accessible urban beach entertainment complex is disclosed, with a man-made tropical, pristine-clear lagoon as the centerpiece of the complex, with surrounding entertainment, educational, sports, and commercial facilities, the complex having controlled public access and providing the look and feel of a tropical beach with clear waters and sandy beaches. In addition a method for efficiently utilizing facilities and land that are vacant, underutilized, have limited uses, or that are contiguous to or nearby recreational, educational, sports, or commercial venues is disclosed. The method providing a publicly accessible urban beach entertainment complex with a centerpiece man-made tropical-style pristine-clear lagoon. The method allows for generating revenue and increasing efficiency by pairing vacant sites, underutilized sites, limited use land, or sites that are contiguous to entertainment, educational, sports, and/or commercial venues with urban beach entertainment complexes. The complex preferably has a controlled public access, thereby allowing entrance upon payment of a fee.
ELECTROLYTIC OIL EXTRACTION SYSTEM AND PROCESS
Systems and methods for use in extracting oil from solid plant-based materials are described. The systems and methods use an electrolyzed carrier fluid made from a hydroxide brine for contacting with plant-based material to thereby separate oil from solid plant particulate. The electrolyzed carrier fluid can have a reductive oxidation-reduction-potential (ORP) of −700 mV or more, such as in the range of from about −900 mV to about −1000 mV.
METHOD AND SYSTEM FOR THE REMEDIATION OF AQUATIC FACILITIES
A system and method for controlling the accelerated remediation of the water of an aquatic facility using at least one sanitizer sensor, a pH sensor, a temperature sensor and a chlorine dioxide sensor all interfaced with a programmable controller that is programmed to implement a remediation cycle and configured to calculate a Ct value of the water chemical feed system. The programmable controller activates a chemical feed system to supply an acid, an oxidizer and a chlorite ion donor to a conduit to form chlorine dioxide that is supplied to the water until a desire Ct value is reached.
SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR WATER BODY ALGAE CONTROL
A method and system for water body algae control are provided. The method for water body algae control may include the steps of: withdrawing water from the water body; infusing a gas containing oxygen and/or ozone into the withdrawn water by generating nanobubbles of the gas within the water; and returning the infused water into the water body. The water body algae control system may include a nanobubble generator that may be configured to receive water that is withdrawn from a water body. An oxygen concentrator and an air compressor may be configured to provide a gas containing oxygen to the nanobubble generator and/or to an ozone generator, in which the nanobubble generator is configured to disperse nanobubbles of the gas containing oxygen and/or ozone into the water, and in which the nanobubble containing water is then directed back into the water body.
Wastewater treatment apparatus to achieve class B biosolids using chlorine dioxide
Disclosed herein are systems and processes for treating a Waste Stream comprising biosolids, the Waste Stream provided at varying flow rates and solids concentrations so as to achieve an SOUR of 1.5 mg O.sub.2/g/hr or less and an ORP of at least +300 mV. The system includes a biosolids manipulation device to adjust the volume of suspended solids as a percent of the total volume of the Waste Stream to five (5) percent or less; a chemical oxidant feed device to dose the Waste Stream with an oxidant such as chlorine dioxide, ozone, or similar oxidant, and a treatment vessel associated with said chemical oxidant feed device through which said Waste Stream flows, wherein said chemical oxidant feed device and said treatment device are configured so as to achieve a dose rate between 25 and 200 parts per million of the Waste Stream and substantially complete mixing of the oxidant within 30 seconds of dose delivery in the treatment vessel.
Method for treating heavy metal wastewater
Disclosed is a method for treating wastewater containing heavy metal. First, the wastewater containing heavy metal is subjected to a homogenization treatment, such that the water quality of the wastewater containing heavy metal from different processes is homogenized. The homogenized wastewater containing heavy metal is subjected to an anaerobic-aerobic circulating treatment in a membrane bioreactor (2), in which heavy metal ions are reduced by the action of microorganisms in the anaerobic treatment process. The membrane bioreactor (2) is filled with a hollow fiber membrane (3) containing a quinone group, which serves as an electron mediator that can accelerate the enzymatic reduction of heavy metal ions during the anaerobic treatment. During the aerobic treatment, the COD and SS in the wastewater are further removed.
Multiple tap system for generating and distributing aqueous ozone to different pieces of equipment
A system for creating an oxidation reduction potential (ORP) in water employs a plurality of ozone supply units housed in separate enclosures. The ozone supply units feed into a manifold that contains a plurality of fluid paths and has one or more ozone intake ports. The ozone intake ports are fluidically coupled to one or more ozone output ports of each ozone supply unit. The manifold includes a plurality of flow switches configured to transmit control signals to one or more controllers of each ozone supply unit in response to sensing a flow of water through the fluid paths in order to cause the ozone supply units to generate ozone. The manifold also includes a plurality of fluid mixers that are fluidically coupled to the ozone intake ports and configured to introduce the ozone generated by the ozone supply units into the water flowing through the fluid paths.
ELECTROLYTIC CHLORINATOR WITH INDIVIDUALLY REPLACEABLE ELECTRODES AND METHODS AND SYSTEMS FOR USE THEREOF
A chlorinating system includes an electrode assembly comprising a plurality electrode blades, a cap electrically and mechanically coupled to the electrode assembly, and a housing for enveloping the electrode assembly in an interior compartment of the housing. The housing exposes the electrode assembly to an inlet and outlet of the housing. The cap is removable from the housing and allows for the individual replacement of single electrode blades forming the electrode blade assembly.
