AQUACULTURE SYSTEM
An aquaculture system is provided. The aquaculture system includes a cultivation pond, a water circulation unit, a water quality detector, and a water processing module. The cultivation pond for storing the cultivation water has a recirculation inlet and recirculation outlet. The water circulation unit is in fluid communication with the cultivation pond to allow the cultivation water in the cultivation pond to circulate through the water circulation unit. The water quality detector is used to detect the quality of the water to obtain water quality information. The water processing module includes an electrolytic gas generator and a control unit to improve the quality of water. The control unit receives the water quality information and adjusts the applied voltage on the electrolytic gas generator according to the water quality information to control the gas species and a ratio of the gases generated by the electrolytic gas generator.
METHOD AND SYSTEM FOR WATER TREATMENT
Water treatment systems including electrically-driven and pressure-driven separation apparatus configured to produce a first treated water suitable for use as irrigation water and a second treated water suitable for use as potable water from brackish or saline water and methods of operation of same.
Method and plant for the reduction of the concentration of pollutants and/or valuable elements in the water
The present invention concerns a method for reducing the amount of polluting and/or valuable elements through application of electrolysis, in particular of the electrocapturing phenomenon. The electrolysis according to the present invention is applied permanently over time in a polluted water body. The predetermined action area (115bis, 115ter) preferably has a smaller extension than the water body. The at least one phenomenon (125bis, 125ter) is preferably powered electrically through production of electrical energy in loco through at least one renewable energy source (140). The method is suitable for purifying large expanses of water, like seas, lakes, lagoons and rivers, through plants operating permanently, however this does not rule out other applications.
DESALINATION APPARATUS
An object of the present invention is to provide a desalination apparatus in which a high pressure pump can be operated at a high efficient operation point even when temperature, salt concentration or the like of water to be treated vary. The desalination apparatus includes a high pressure pump which is provided in a first flow path and supplies raw water to a first module at high pressure to apply reverse osmotic pressure to a first module and a second module, a third flow path for supplying second concentrated water after separation in the second module to upstream of the high pressure pump in the first flow path, and a fourth flow path for supplying a portion of the first concentrated water after separation in the first module to upstream of the high pressure pump in the first flow path.
Water treatment assembly including hyperfiltration module and pressurizable reservoir
A water treatment assembly comprising a spiral wound hyperfiltration membrane module connected to: i) a feed line adapted for connection to a source of pressurized feed water, ii) a permeate line adapted for connection to a dispenser of treated water and iii) a concentrate line adapted for connection with drain; wherein the assembly further includes a pressurizable reservoir with valves for selectively diverting flow of pressurized feed water along the feed line, through the reservoir and returning to the feed line prior to passing through the hyperfiltration membrane module.
Variable pulsed ionic waste stream reclamation system and method
A method for treating wastewater having one or more of suspended solids, dissolved solids, biological oxygen demand includes solids filtration followed by a bi-polar/bi-directional flow through ionic module fitted with anionically/cationically charged plates followed by a sub-sonic resonance module followed by another bi-polar/bi-directional flow through ionic module followed by a ultra-sonic resonance module followed by one or more anion/cation collection membrane modules. Recycle is provided in each step, wherein each step may be repeated, and wherein one or more of the steps can be bypassed.
MEASUREMENT AND TREATMENT OF FLUID STREAMS
A method and system for measuring and treating fluid streams having particles therein is disclosed. A sample of the fluid stream is obtained and processed to remove large particles, to obtain an aliquot of the fluid stream with some particles therein. A parameter in the aliquot is measured that relates to quantity and/or charge of the particles. The aliquot was found to be representative of the whole fluid stream, so when the parameter deviates from a desired value, this indicates that particles in the fluid stream require treatment. The method and system can further include treating the particles in the fluid stream until the measured parameter in the aliquot returns to the desired value.
Automated manifold for removing digestate from a lagoon digester
An extraction manifold for extracting digestate from a covered lagoon digester includes a digester vessel being shaped generally as a rectangular prism lacking an upward facing face and having a floor sloping generally downward from an intake face to an extraction face of the digester vessel. The intake face and extraction face are oriented vertically, situated in opposed relation on a longer horizontal axis. Each effluent pipe terminates in an extraction nozzle on one end and an independently addressable actuatable valve on the opposite end. Each actuatable valve communicates with a manifold plenum such that actuation of the valve draws digestate from the floor in a region of the floor adjacent to the extraction face and in proximity to the extraction nozzle. A valve controller actuates valves to remove digestate from the region of the floor adjacent to the extraction face. The valve controller includes sensors to monitor biogas production.
WATER PURIFICATION SYSTEM
A water purification system includes: a composite filter cartridge including a pretreatment filter cartridge and a filter membrane assembly; a raw water inlet pipe; a pure water outlet pipe; a pretreated water pipe; a booster pump; a water quality detecting device disposed to the raw water inlet pipe and/or the pure water outlet pipe and configured to detect water quality in the raw water inlet pipe and the pure water outlet pipe; and a control device connected to the water quality detecting device and configured to determine service life of the composite filter cartridge and/or judge whether the composite filter cartridge has lost efficacy according to information detected by the water quality detecting device.
SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR ELECTROCHEMICAL DISINFECTION
A method for electrochemical disinfection of an aqueous solution, the method comprising the steps of: providing one or more disinfecting cells for retaining an aqueous solution, each disinfecting cell including one or more electrode pairs positioned therein; arranging the one or more disinfecting cells along a flow path, the flow path including an inlet to and an outlet from the one or more disinfecting cells; determining at the one or more disinfecting cells the electrical conductivity, or specific conductance of the aqueous solution; determining from the electrical conductivity, or specific conductance of the aqueous solution a voltage to apply across the one or more electrode pairs at a current sufficient to produce disinfection species therein; and passing the current from the one or more electrode pairs to the aqueous solution to produce a modified aqueous solution.
