WATER TREATMENT APPARATUS AND WATER TREATMENT METHOD
A water treatment apparatus including: discharge treatment units each including a ground electrode and a discharge electrode opposing the ground electrode, and water to be treated is treated by forming a discharge between the ground electrode and the discharge electrode, and generating ozone by the discharge, and moreover causing the water to be treated to contact the discharge; a water reservoir portion that collects, in the interior of the treatment tank, the water to be treated having been subject to water treatment by one of the discharge treatment units; and an ozone supply section that supplies the ozone in the treatment tank to the water to be treated in the water reservoir portion are provided, and wherein the water to be treated passes through the plurality of discharge treatment units as a continuous flow.
IRRIGATION SYSTEM
An irrigation system is provided. The irrigation system includes a reservoir for storing irrigation water, an electrolytic gas generator, a detector, and a control unit. The electrolytic gas generator is in fluid communication with the reservoir to output a first gas and a second gas generated by the electrolytic gas generator to the irrigation water. The detector is arranged in the water reservoir to detect the concentrations of dissolved first gas and dissolved second gas of the irrigation water to obtain dissolved gas concentration information. The control unit electrically connects to the detector and the electrolytic gas generator receives the dissolved gas concentration information and adjusts the voltage applied to the electrolytic gas generator according to the dissolved gas concentration information to control the type of gas generated by the electrolytic gas generator and the concentrations of dissolved first and second gas of the irrigation water.
Systems And Methods For Ozone Water Generator
A novel cell for generating ozonated water, the cell comprises a nafion membrane separating a diamond coated anode, and a gold surfaced cathode enclosed within a cell housing with the catalyst side of the nafion membrane facing the cathode. The cell housing has a cathode housing portion and an anode housing portion separated by the membrane, each housing portion having ridges to enhance substantially even flow of fluid over the cathode and anode. The housing portions contain O-rings in grooves to prevent leaks, and alignment features to keep the electrodes aligned. The cathode and anode have an array of holes allowing fluid to penetrate to the surface of the niobium membrane. Input ports allow fluid to flow into the housing and over the anode and cathode and then out of the housing through outlet ports. The housing may also incorporate an integrated spectral photometer including a bubble trap.
AQUEOUS OZONE SANITIZING SYSTEM
An aqueous ozone sanitizing device, for example, for sanitizing objects, including hands, hands and forearms, feet, other tissue, instruments, or other object sanitizing, including rinsing and clinical treatment. One embodiment of the sanitizing device includes a tank for holding a reservoir of untreated water, a pump fluidly coupled to the tank, a water treatment device fluidly coupled to the pump and for receiving and ozonating untreated water and for providing aqueous ozone, and a fluidic oscillator fluidly coupled to the water treatment device and for delivering the aqueous ozone to the object.

Method and system for treating wastewater includes treating sludge with ozone in a plug-flow type reactor to cause lysis of biosolids in the sludge. The ozonated sludge may be provided to an anaerobic or anoxic section of the wastewater treatment system to aid the denitrification processes occurring in the anaerobic or anoxic section of the wastewater treatment system or to other sections of the wastewater treatment system such as a fermenter, an aerobic digester, or an anaerobic digester.
System and method for measuring and treating a liquid stream
A method and system of treating a liquid stream is provided. The water is treated by utilizing a free radical scavenging system and a free radical removal system. The free radical scavenging system can utilize actinic radiation with a free radical precursor compound, such as ammonium persulfate. The free radical removal system can comprise use of a reducing agent. The water may be further treated by utilizing ion exchange media and degasification apparatus. A control system may be utilized to measure and regulate addition of the precursor compound, the intensity of the actinic radiation, and addition of the reducing agent to the water.
ELECTROLYZED WATER COMPOSITION
The present invention provides a method for producing electrolyzed water composition for use in cleaning and disinfecting of an object. The method comprises preparing an electrolyte solution comprising water, at least one carbonate salt selected from: alkali metal carbonate salts, and at least one chloride salt selected from: alkali metal chloride salts and/or alkali earth metal chloride salts. The method further comprises introducing the aqueous electrolyte solution into an electrolytic cell comprising a plurality of boron-doped diamond electrodes. The method further comprises operating a power supply to apply a predetermined voltage to the electrolyte solution to produce an electrolyzed water composition comprising a plurality of active molecular and ionic species with antimicrobial activity.
Method and system for providing ultrapure water
A method and system of providing ultrapure water for semiconductor fabrication operations is provided. The water is treated by utilizing a free radical scavenging system and a free radical removal system. The free radical scavenging system can utilize actinic radiation with a free radical precursor compound, such as ammonium persulfate. The free radical removal system can comprise use of a reducing agent. The ultrapure water may be further treated by utilizing ion exchange media and degasification apparatus. A control system can be utilized to regulate addition of the precursor compound, the intensity of the actinic radiation, and addition of the reducing agent to the water.
DISINFECTION SYSTEM CAPABLE OF DIRECTLY GENERATING OZONE WATER IN WATER PIPE WITH ON-OFF CONTROL DEVICE
A disinfection system includes an ozone water generator and a top seat movably connected to the ozone water generator. The top seat includes a generator control board and an on-off control device therein. The on-off control device includes a flow switch. The flow switch is connected to the generator control board through a signal wire. A top seat inlet of the top seat is in communication with a top seat outlet of the top seat through an inlet of the flow switch, an outlet of the flow switch, a generator inlet of the ozone water generator, a generator outlet of the ozone water generator and a pipe. The ozone water generator is connected to the generator control board through a connecting wire. The generator control board is connected to an external power source through a power wire. The disinfection system can sense changes in water flow and directly generate ozone water according to needs, thereby improving the convenience for use, ensuring the sensitivity of the flow switch and increasing the maximum water flow range.
Removal of Ozone From Process Streams with Ultraviolet Radiation
A method including directing an aqueous solution having dissolved carbon dioxide and dissolved ozone into a vessel, removing an amount of the dissolved carbon dioxide and irradiating the effluent with ultraviolet light to decompose an amount of the dissolved ozone is disclosed. The method may include removing the dissolved carbon dioxide by controlling pH. The method may include removing the dissolved carbon dioxide by contact with a membrane degasifier. A system including a channel fluidly connectable to a source of an aqueous solution having dissolved carbon dioxide and dissolved ozone, a dissolved carbon dioxide removal subsystem, and a source of ultraviolet irradiation is also disclosed. The dissolved carbon dioxide removal subsystem may include a source of a pH adjuster. The dissolved carbon dioxide removal subsystem may include a membrane degasifier.
