Disposable filter unit for a system allowing for purification and recycling of water or separation of water
The present invention describes a disposable filter unit (1) intended for a system (10) allowing for purification and recycling of water or separation of water, said disposable filter unit (1) comprising an outer body (2), a top (3), a bottom (4), an inflow (5), an outflow (6) and a filter means (7) enclosed in the outer body (2), wherein the inflow (5) is positioned adjacent to the bottom (4) and the outflow (6) is positioned adjacent to the top (3), and wherein the inflow (5) and (10) outflow (6) are arranged to be fixated simultaneously into the system (10) and released simultaneously from the system (10) enabling a simple replacing of the disposable filter unit (1) for a user, and wherein the system (10) comprises a mechanical filter fixating/releasing unit (8).
AUTOMATIC BRINE RETROFIT FOR A WATER SOFTENER SYSTEM
A method for converting a salt-based ion exchange water softener into a brine-based system. The system includes a resin tank containing an ion exchange media, a batch tank containing crystalline salt, a master valve for directing water flow through selected portions of the softener system, a brine conduit connecting the batch tank to the master valve, and a controller for managing the master valve position to define at least operating, brine fill, and brine draw cycles. A control valve is installed in the brine conduit to prevent fresh water flow from the master valve to the batch tank and the crystalline salt in the batch tank replaced with a quantity of liquid brine. It is preferable to adjust the duration of the brine draw cycle to limit the brine draw cycle to the minimum time necessary to provide sufficient brine to the resin tank to recharge the ion exchange media.
COMBINED LOGIC CONTROL CIRCUIT AND SEWAGE TREATMENT SYSTEM
A combined logic control circuit and a sewage treatment system are provided. The combined logic control circuit includes: at least one signal input component, a control component and at least one signal output component; each signal input component transmits at least one path of first communication signal in a photoelectric isolated manner and converts the first communication signal into a second communication signal; the control component generates at least one path of first control signal according to the at least one path of second communication signal; and each signal output component processes one path of the first control signal to control at least one external electrical device, thereby implementing a particular circuit function; and the power switch component provides power supply to the various circuit components in a photoelectric isolated manner.
Multiple tank high solids anaerobic digester
A multi-stage anaerobic digester is designed to treat a high solids, stackable feedstock. The system may also receive a pumpable feedstock such as a slurry or sludge. In a first stage, the digestate circulates in one direction around a raceway such that the digestate may pass a feed inlet multiple times before leaving the first tank. An optional side stream loop withdraws fibrous material from near the top of the reaceway and return digestate with chopped fibers, preferably lower and further along the raceway. An outlet from the raceway located near, but upstream of the feed inlet discharges partially digested substrate to a second stage, which is operated as a stirred tank reactor. The two stages may be provided in a single tank with an internal wall separating a ring shaped outer portion from a cylindrical inner portion. The digester may be operated in a thermophilic temperature range.
Air conditioner and method for controlling the same
An air conditioner includes a humidifying assembly and a control unit to control the humidifying assembly. The humidifying assembly includes a humidifying-receiving unit including a water tank configured to receive water and a humidifying-sterilizing unit configured to irradiate light to sterilize water received in the water tank. The control unit is configured to control a driving time of the humidifying-sterilizing unit based on an amount of water received in the water tank.
Portable multimode reverse osmosis water purification system
A water purification system is disclosed which, includes a reverse osmosis (RO) system or component that is connectable to a city or other outside water feed that is capable of responding to and compensating for low or no feed water pressure coming into the RO system to ensure the outgoing supply of purified water is provided consistently and at a minimum water pressure. This can be accomplished without the need for communication with another device or system-wide facility, such as a hospital, or a pharmaceutical or semiconductor manufacturing system, requiring a constant water supply.
Grey water interface valve liquid level sensor system
Embodiments of the present disclosure generally provide a grey water interface valve liquid level sensor system. The liquid level sensor system may deliver information about the water level and the water movement that occurs in a water reservoir. A control unit may then activate a valve to open so that the water can be removed via vacuum.
SATURATED LAYER STORMWATER FILTER AND PASSIVE STORMWATER MANAGEMENT SYSTEM WITH PRETREATMENT
A saturated layer stormwater filtering system with down-flow layered multimedia filters is disclosed. The filtering system may include an upflow pretreatment chamber and a subsequent filtration chamber. It also includes a snorkel pipe as an adjustable head control or internal baffles. The system incorporates gravity powered partially saturated stormwater media filters to harness the potential energy of stormwater from downspouts and pumped flows from stormwater catchments to drive the polluted stormwater in a hydraulically controlled fashion by gravity through a series of filter media layers.
Foam intercept system
A foam intercept system and a method of using the foam intercept system are disclosed herein. The foam intercept system is useful to control levels of foam generated on the surface of effluent seawater during aeration of the effluent seawater in a seawater aeration basin. Effluent seawater contained within the seawater aeration basin may be produced in a seawater flue gas desulfurization system associated with a power plant or an aluminum production plant.
WATER TREATMENT DEVICE AND HUMIDIFICATION DEVICE
A water treatment device includes: an insulating divider which divides a space inside a water tank into two treatment vessels adjacent to each other in a horizontal direction, and includes a current carrier which is able to energize water in the two treatment vessels; a treatment unit including a pair of electrodes, a power supply, and a power supply controller; a water supplier which supplies water to each of the treatment vessels; and a draining member which drains water from each of the treatment vessels. The treatment unit includes a detector which detects a level of water in each of the treatment vessels based on an index corresponding to a current value between the pair of electrodes.
