An apparatus, method and system is provided for treating sewage sludge by dewatering the sewage sludge, heating the sewage sludge being treated to destroy pathogens, and then reducing volatile solids in the sewage sludge being treated through biochemical decomposition to produce a treated biosolids product that meets government regulations for pathogen reduction and vector attraction reduction.

Method and device for controlling pollutants in metal mine water resources cycling utilization

It discloses to a device and a method for controlling pollutants in metal mine water resources cycling utilization. The device includes a multi-stage inflow constructed wetland (3), in which one or more layers of the filler are laid, and water distribution pipes (4) are buried at different height levels in the filler layers for multi-stage inflow, so that the received basin water is allowed to flow through each layer of the filler to degrade or remove the pollutants. In the multi-stage inflow constructed wetland, the types of fillers, dosage ratio, particle size and filling height of fillers in each layer are specifically selected. Therefore, heavy metal adsorption, suspended matter filtration, organic matter degradation, dephosphorization and denitrification can be effectively realized in the multi-stage inflow constructed wetland.

Enhanced peroxygen stability in multi-dispense TAED-containing peroxygen solid

Stabilized compositions employing a sequestrant system and a binding system for improving shelf stability and dispensing stability of a solid activated bleach composition are disclosed. The compositions contain a peroxygen source and a catalyst activator which require generation of a peroxycarboxylic acid or other active oxygen sanitizing agent at a point of use. Stabilized compositions employ a sequestrant system including a phosphonic acid and/or dipicolinic acid sequestrant and a binding system comprising an anionic surfactant for a solid formulation of a catalyst activator and peroxygen source to provide shelf stability and dispensing stability for a activated bleach composition. Methods of formulating and use are further disclosed.

Organic wastewater treatment apparatus

An organic wastewater treatment apparatus biologically treats organic wastewater containing nitrogen using a treatment tank storing activated sludge. A top-bottom partition member divides the treatment tank in into an upper space and a lower space. A plurality of anoxic tanks are formed in the lower space, while a plurality of aerobic tanks, each of which having an immersion-type membrane separation device, are formed in the upper space. A raw water supply path divides and supplies the organic wastewater to each anoxic tank. A plurality of denitrifying liquid transfer paths repeatedly transfers the activated sludge from the anoxic tanks to the aerobic tanks, while a plurality of nitrifying liquid transfer paths repeatedly transfer the activated sludge from the aerobic tanks to the anoxic tanks, whereby the activated sludge is circulated throughout the treatment tank.

METHOD FOR SYNERGISTIC DEGRADATION TREATMENT OF POLYSACCHARIDE-CONTAINING POLYMER WASTEWATER BY CONTROLLABLE -OH RADICAL
20220127171 · 2022-04-28 · ·

The present disclosure relates to the technical field of wastewater treatment in oil and gas field operations, in particular to a method for synergistic degradation treatment of polysaccharide-containing polymer wastewater by controllable —OH radical. In this method, a ferrous ion solution, an alkaline solution, and an oxidant solution are mixed and heated to generate —OH radicals, —O radicals and polymeric iron ions, etc., which then is mixed with polysaccharide-containing polymer wastewater. The generated highly oxidative —OH radicals and —O radicals react with polysaccharide polymers so that they are degraded. The generated polymeric iron ions form flocs that purify the suspended solids in the wastewater. The purified polysaccharide-containing polymer wastewater can be re-injected or reused as an oilfield working fluid. In the present disclosure, the polysaccharide-containing polymer wastewater can be treated in a quick and efficient manner, and the treated wastewater can be recycled.
