Method and system for preparing drinking weak alkali water and strontium-rich electrolyte raw water from salt-making distilled water
The invention provides a method for preparing drinking weak alkali water and strontium-rich electrolyte raw water from distilled water obtained in the process of producing salt from well and mine brine, which comprises procedures of pressure reduction treatment, primary filtration, membrane separation treatment, activated carbon adsorption treatment, secondary filtration treatment, sterilization and disinfection treatment and the like on the salt-making distilled water in sequence so as to remove insoluble solid impurities, sulfides, microorganisms and other substances in the raw water, and separate or enrich ions, thereby preparing the weak alkali water suitable for drinking and the strontium-rich electrolyte raw water capable of being used for functional beverage production. The method provided by the invention can not only realize the comprehensive utilization of resources, but also obtain new products, significantly improving the economical efficiency of the process.
Systems and methods for fluid disinfection with ultraviolet light
A fluid treatment system includes a reactor chamber fluidly coupled with a fluid inlet and a fluid outlet. The reactor chamber is defined by one or more chamber walls. The system includes a UV LED, and a light pipe. The light pipe extends into the reactor chamber through at least one of the chamber walls. The light pipe has a proximal end disposed outside of the reactor chamber. The proximal end is coupled with the UV LED to transmit UV light into the reactor chamber through the light pipe. To that end, the light pipe also has a distal end, opposite the proximal end, that is disposed within an interior volume of the reactor chamber. The light pipe includes a central section disposed between the proximal end and the distal end. The central section is configured to transmit the UV light from UV LED to the distal end.
Fluid remanufacturing
Waste water is remanufactured with ozone in a series of mixing vessels. The ozone is dispersed to both a top and a bottom portion of each mixing vessel, but in different amounts. This creates an electrical potential difference across the height of each mixing vessel which significantly improves the oxidation of organic carbon-based impurities and eliminates H.sub.2S and bacteria. Sludge and solids floating to the top of each mixing vessels are removed, as well as sludge and solids settling to the bottom of the mixing vessels. When oil and gas well waste water is treated in this manner, the resulting treated water is purified and has a high salt content suitable for oil or gas well injection.
WATER TREATMENT SYSTEM
The present disclosure relates to a water treatment system, methods for treating water, and products for treating water. In certain embodiments, the present disclosure provides a water treatment system, the system comprising: (i) a chemical disinfectant and a flocculating agent, to treat water; and (ii) a deformable container comprising: an opening to receive water for treatment into the container; an internal storage region for holding an amount of water; a partitionable region fluidly partitionable from the internal storage region for separating the flocculating agent upon settling after exposure to water in the container; and an outlet in fluid connection with the internal storage region to remove water from the container.
CONTROLLED PRODUCTION OF AQUEOUS HALOGEN SOLUTIONS WITH VARYING COMPOSITIONS
Methods and systems for the controlled production of aqueous halogen solutions with varying compositions are disclosed. According to an embodiment, aqueous solutions of hypochlorite ions are modified through the sequential addition of pH adjusting chemicals, non-chloride halide ions, and halogen stabilizing compounds. Sensors, for measuring physical and chemical properties of the solutions as they change due to the impact of the various chemical reactions, are linked to a control system which, in turn, can control the input of one or more chemicals. The control system facilitates the production of a solution with desired characteristics in terms of pH, specific halogen composition, degree of halogen stabilization, and limiting the production of undesired by products such as bromate ions.
WATER TREATMENT SYSTEM AND WATER TREATMENT METHOD
