VACUUM GRINDER CLEANING DEVICE AND METHOD
An apparatus for removing large particles from a vessel The apparatus includes a vacuum storage container and a suction hose extending from the vacuum storage container. The vacuum storage container includes a material receiving section, a grinding pump and a disposal line. The material receiving section receives the large particles from the suction hose. The grinding pump is positioned in the material receiving section for pulverizing the large particles received in the material receiving section. The disposal line extends from the grinding pump through the vacuum storage container to remove the pulverized material from the grinding pump and the vacuum storage container.
DUAL-MODE PRESSURIZED WATER TREATMENT MEDIA VESSEL
A pressurized media vessel system for water treatment is disclosed. The vessel can contain either granular activated carbon (GAC) or ion exchange (IX) resin. The system includes a flanged inlet to introduce process water to the vessel for treatment. The flanged inlet is configured to interchangeably attach to different distributors depending on a desired mode of operation. The vessel may be filled with a GAC bed in a first mode of operation and may be filled with an IX resin media bed in a second mode of operation.
Electrosorption purification system with battery driven regeneration
The invention provides an electronic domestic appliance (1000) comprising a decalcifying apparatus (1) for purifying an aqueous liquid, wherein the electronic domestic appliance (1000) comprises an electronic connector (110) for connecting to an external AC power source wherein the electronic connector (110) is functionally coupled with the DC power supply (100), the electronic domestic appliance (1000) further comprising a functional element (1600) wherein purified aqueous liquid is applied and/or stored.
HOLLOW FIBER FILTRATION CARTRIDGE AND METHODS THEREOF
Described herein is a method of using hollow fiber filter cartridge. The method includes: providing a hollow fiber filter cartridge inside or outside an environmental cleaning equipment; allowing a wastewater to enter the hollow fiber filter cartridge from an outside of the hollow fiber filter under no water pressure or low water pressure (such as under 30 gw/cm.sup.2); allowing the wastewater to cross a plurality of nanopores of the hollow fiber filter cartridge under no water pressure or low water pressure (such as under 30 gw/cm.sup.2) to produce a clean water; and allowing the environmental cleaning equipment to filter wastewater to produce clean water continuously, thereby improving cleaning efficiency and reducing water consumption.
METHOD AND SYSTEM FOR REMOVING CONTAMINANTS FROM SOIL
Methods, systems, and techniques for removal of PFAS contaminants from contaminated soil or sediment are provided. Example embodiments provide a water-based ex-situ method and system at a site that utilizes particle size and particle density segregation; deagglomeration, attrition, and retention time and sequential contacts with purified water; a recirculating water system with continual water treatment, and additional modules for destructive treatment of concentrated PFAS. In an example embodiment, the water treatment system of an example PFAS contaminant removal system and process includes ion exchange resin filtration component to remove PFAS effectively.
Method for Cleaning Up Oil Spills Using Multi-Layered Carbon Fiber-Based Absorbents
A method for cleaning up oil spills using multi-layered carbon fiber-based absorbents is disclosed. The method for cleaning up oil spills requires an oil-contaminated area including a quantity of oil, a first storage vessel, an oil extraction machine, a heating element, and a multi-layered carbon fiber absorbent. The multi-layered modified carbon fiber absorbent is distributed to the oil-contaminated area, where the multi-layered modified carbon fiber absorbent is configured to extract the quantity of oil from the oil-contaminated area while maintaining hydrophobic. The quantity of oil is extracted and separated from the multi-layered modified carbon fiber absorbent using the oil extraction machine. The extracted quantity of oil is collected into the first storage vessel. The extract quantity of oil is then transferred over to a second storage vessel for later refinement.
Ion exchange resin transportation and storage
Methods of stabilizing virgin ion exchange resin material are provided. The methods include rinsing virgin ion exchange resin material with deoxygenated water, introducing the rinsed virgin ion exchange resin material into a liquid impermeable compartment of a gas impermeable vessel and hermetically sealing the vessel. The methods include rinsing virgin ion exchange resin material with deoxygenated water, introducing the rinsed virgin ion exchange resin material into a gas impermeable vessel, introducing an oxygen scavenging material into the gas impermeable vessel, and hermetically sealing the vessel. A method of facilitating water treatment in a site in need thereof by providing rinsed virgin ion exchange resin material in deoxygenated water positioned in a liquid impermeable compartment of a gas impermeable vessel is also provided. A vessel containing deoxygenated water and virgin ion exchange resin material and an oxygen scavenging material is also provided.
FLUID FILTER AND METHOD OF USE OF SAME
A fluid filter device and method of using the same are disclosed. The filter device may include a casing including a first face, a second face and at least one lateral face positioned between the first face and the second face and perpendicular thereto. The filter device may include at least two elongated pulleys rotatably supported within the casing between the first face and the second face of the casing. The filter device may include a filtering mesh threaded on at least some of the elongated pulleys to define an interior of the filtering mesh. The elongated pulleys and locations thereof within the casing are adapted to arrange the filtering mesh into a predetermined shape and to enable rotation of the filtering mesh about the at least some of the elongated pulleys.
FILTER
A filter system and filter suitable for water treatment includes a filter having a housing with a water inlet and an outlet, the housing defining a filtration chamber therein. The filtration chamber has filter media therein having a plurality of at least partially porous filtration beads and a pump for pumping water to the inlet. Such a filtration system enables high nutrient removal thus minimising the food source for algae.
