Humidifier
A humidifier includes a storage water tank configured to accommodate a predetermined amount of water; a circulation water tank having a smaller capacity than the storage water tank and including a circulation low water level sensor; a supply pump configured to supply water from the storage water tank to the circulation water tank; a circulation pump configured to supply water from the circulation water tank to a humidifying member; a residual water tank configured to accommodate water discharged from the circulation water tank; a drainage member disposed between the circulation water tank and the residual water tank selectively to discharge water from the circulation water tank to the residual water tank and a processor configured to control the drainage member to discharge water from the circulation water tank to the residual water tank when a low water level signal is received from the circulation low water level sensor.
Techniques for managing scale formation in water filtration systems and a reverse osmosis (RO) and nanofiltration (NF) system implementing same
The present disclosure is directed to filtering technologies that combine elements of continuous and batch NF/RO based on the constraints of the end-user facility to achieve a target balance between, for instance, recovery and power consumption, and to reduce long term operating cost of a plant. A method for extending batch operation into a second induction period with antiscalant injection is also disclosed herein, with the second induction period allowing for yet higher water recovery.
OILFIELD WATER STORAGE SYSTEMS, METHODS OF MANAGING THE SAME, AND FILM-FORMING COMPOSITIONS
Oilfield water storage systems, methods of managing the same, and film forming compositions are provided herein. In an embodiment, an oilfield water storage system includes a water storage pond, a surface spreading layer on a surface of the water storage pond, and a water outlet pipe disposed in fluid communication with the water storage pond below the surface treatment layer. The surface spreading layer includes a surface spreading agent.
Deflector disc of disc tube membrane module
Disclosed is a deflector disc of a disc tube membrane module, including a deflector disc body, radial water distribution ribs, an inner support ring and an outer support ring. Bulges are arranged on the front and back sides of the deflector disc body; first and second ends of the radial water distribution rib are respectively fixedly connected with an inner edge of the deflector disc body and an outer edge of the inner support ring, an annular boss is arranged on the front side of the inner support ring, a seal ring groove is respectively arranged at corresponding positions of the front and back sides of the inner support ring, multiple yielding water collecting grooves are annularly and uniformly distributed on the inner surface of the inner support ring; an inner edge of the outer support ring is fixedly connected with an outer edge of the deflector disc body.
Method for onsite production of chlorine dioxide
The methods disclosed generally relate to treatment of process water using chlorine dioxide. Specifically, reactants may be fed asynchronously into a diluent line or a tank where the reactants may mix and react to form chlorine dioxide. The chlorine dioxide levels may fluctuate in the diluent line or the tank thereby inhibiting or reducing the growth of microbes.
BIOAUGMENTATION TREATMENT PROCESS FOR LITHIUM BATTERY PRODUCING WASTEWATER
The present invention relates to the technical field of wastewater treatment, and discloses a bioaugmentation treatment process for lithium battery producing wastewater. The method comprises the following steps: 1) introducing wastewater into a hydrolytic acidification tank, and adding Enterobacter sp. NJUST50 and activated sludge to the hydrolytic acidification tank for hydrolytic acidification treatment; 2) introducing the effluent into an anoxic tank, and adding Enterobacter sp. NJUST50 and anaerobic activated sludge for anoxic treatment; 3) introducing the effluent into an aerobic tank, and adding Enterobacter sp. NJUST50 and aerobic activated sludge for aerobic treatment; 4) introducing the effluent into an anoxic filter tank, and adding Enterobacter sp. NJUST50 and anaerobic activated sludge to the filter tank for treatment; and 5) introducing the effluent into a biological aerated filter tank, and adding a sludge mixture of Enterobacter sp. NJUST50 with aerobic activated sludge to the filter tank for treatment.
MULTIFUNCTIONAL SOLID AND DISSOLVING WATER-TREATMENT COMPOSITION FOR POOLS AND SPAS
Described herein are solid compositions for water treatment of swimming pools and spas. The solid composition comprises, in a single solid product in the form of a tablet, puck, briquette, a capsule, powder mix or the like, a combined source of a plurality of chemical compounds such as chlorine, algaecide, clarifier and pH adjuster. In embodiments the solid composition comprises at least a combination of (i) a source of chlorine for killing bacteria and (ii) a neutralizer for ensuring a proper pH balance. In embodiments the solid composition is be formulated as a bilayer. In embodiments the solid composition is formulated as a bilayer, a first layer comprising sodium dichloroisocyanurate (NaDCC) and a second layer comprising trichloroisocyanuric acid (TCCA).
Accurate biocide dosing for low concentration membrane biofouling control applications
Biocide can be controllably added to a feed stream for a membrane. In some examples, the feed stream is separated into a primary feed stream and a secondary feed stream, for example, with the secondary feed stream having a lower flow rate than the primary feed stream. The secondary feed stream may be used to monitor and control the addition of the biocide, which is then diluted when the secondary feed stream is combined with the primary feed stream to form a combined stream for delivery to the membrane.
