METHOD AND PROGRAM FOR DETERMINING CLEANING TROUBLE IN FRESH WATER GENERATOR
The present invention provides a fresh water generator operating method and a determination program that are employed in a method for cleaning a separation membrane module following membrane filtration, and that, while various cleaning steps such as reverse pressure cleaning, air cleaning, chemical solution cleaning are taking place after completion of the membrane filtration, determines cleaning troubles by calculating a temporal change in resistance increase rate on the basis of an increase in membrane differential pressure.
LIQUID TREATMENT APPARATUS, PURE WATER PRODUCTION SYSTEM, AND LIQUID TREATMENT METHOD
A desalination apparatus 12 (liquid treatment apparatus) includes a first water treatment unit 26 (liquid treatment unit) that includes a reverse osmosis membrane and in which a treated liquid is separated into a permeate that permeates the reverse osmosis membrane and a concentrate other than the permeate, a water recovery unit 28 (liquid recovery unit) that includes a reverse osmosis membrane and in which the concentrate is separated into a recovered liquid that permeates the reverse osmosis membrane and a waste liquid other than the recovered liquid, and a pressure increasing means that increases a liquid pressure of the concentrate, such that a state capable of separating into the recovered liquid and the waste liquid in the liquid recovery unit continues, and that directly feeds the concentrate from the liquid treatment unit to the liquid recovery unit.
Non-Electric Water Purifier
Proposed is a non-electric water purifier in which a flow path provided between a water-purifying filter and a water outlet cock is replaced in order to minimize contamination of purified drinking water. The non-electric water purifier includes a main body having a door formed on one side thereof so as to open and close the main body and having and having a receiving space part defined therein, a connector which is coupled replaceably and rotatably to one side of the main body and incudes a raw water passage connected to a raw water inlet and a purified water passage through which purified water flows, at least one filter housing being received in the receiving space part, with a discharge outlet of the filter housing being coupled detachably to the connector, and the water outlet cock which is connected to a discharge opening of the connector and discharges purified water.
BIOFILM INHIBITION SYSTEM BASED ON UV-LEDS
A biofilm inhibition system, for a sensor which includes a chamber with an interior volume and an interior surface exposed to direct contact with a fluid during sensor operation, includes an ultraviolet light emitting diode (UV-LED) and an optical subsystem. The optical subsystem is coupled to the UV-LED to deliver a portion of the emitted UV light to illuminate a substantial fraction of the interior volume and the interior surface. A watertight housing encloses the UV-LED and at least a portion of the optical subsystem.
METHOD FOR SUPPRESSING SEDIMENTATION OF SUSPENDED SUBSTANCE, METHOD FOR SUPPRESSING PITCH TROUBLE, AND METHOD FOR DETECTING SEDIMENTATION OF SUSPENDED SUBSTANCE
A method for suppressing sedimentation of suspended substances ef the present invention is a method for suppressing sedimentation of suspended substances in water at the bottom of a tank disposed in a water system in papermaking equipment, comprising a step of blowing an oxygen-containing gas into the water, for stirring and aeration; a step of detecting a change with time in existence states of the suspended substances in the tank by the stirring and the aeration; and a control step of feeding at least one of an oxygen-containing gas and a slime control agent to the tank based on the detection result to suppress the sedimentation of the suspended substances in the tank.
CONTROLLING BIOFOULING IN WATER PURIFICATION
A system and a method for water purification are provided. An exemplary system includes a multimedia filter, an ozone generator, an ozone contactor coupled to the ozone generator, and a ceramic membrane filter coupled to an air scouring system, wherein the air scouring system is coupled to the ozone generator. A storage tank is coupled to a purified water line from the ceramic membrane filter, wherein the storage tank is coupled to a backwashing line coupled to the multimedia filter.
Negative Pressure Aeration And Organic Growth Suppression System
A negative pressure aeration system, created by atmospheric siphon pressure above the waterline and mechanical pump suction below the waterline, which impedes the growth of organic matter. A waterfall flow in vacuum effect is created within a system that aerates the raw water as it falls through the air chamber of the system housing, which assists in the suppression of organic growth by reducing the contact surface area within the system. A chemical tank allows an anti-fouling chemical to be added to the entire system and a power supply allows flexible electrodes driven by a vacuum to create a further anti-fouling benefit throughout the components of the system.
Water treatment for removing oxidation agents
A water treatment apparatus, system and method including introducing an aqueous fluid into a chamber, the aqueous fluid having a pH below 7 and having an oxidizing agent. Contacting, within the chamber, the aqueous fluid with a corrodible sacrificial material which oxidizes in the presence of the oxidizing agent also reducing the oxidizing agent. Thereafter, adjusting, subsequent contacting the corroding particulate, the pH of the aqueous fluid to above 7.
Bilayer electrospun membranes for treating fracking wastewater via membrane distillation
A bilayer electrospun membranes for treating hydraulic fracking wastewater via membrane distillation, and more particularly to bilayer electrospun membranes having an omniphobic layer to prevent low-surface tension solution wicking and an oleophobic antifouling surface to prevent foulant depositing on the membrane. Nanoparticles are decorated on the omniphobic surface through electrochemical interaction, which is coated with a fluorine monomer on the nanoparticles. A zwitterionic co-polymer is grafted using self-assembly between hydroxy groups on the antifouling surface generated by alkaline treatment and anchor segment epoxy groups on zwitterionic co-polymer.
System and method of inline deposit detection in process fluid
The disclosed systems and method utilize the autofluorescence, optic imaging, and heat transfer resistance technologies to monitor the same simulated surface area for deposits. The systems and methods may provide continuous monitoring, detection, characterization and quantification of deposits. Utilizing this information, an associated control system may initiate alarms, initiate a chemical treatment operation, and adjust corresponding chemical treatment and preventive protocols to minimize and/or eradicate the issue.
