BUOYANCY CLEANING DEVICE FOR ABOVEGROUND POOL

Disclosed herein is a pool cleaning device having filtering and pumping capabilities. Some embodiments of the disclosed device can be unencumbered by hoses, cables, and the like when in use in the pool. The device may be buoyant and can be configured to float at or just below the surface of the water. The device can comprise a strainer, a pump, a housing for the strainer and pump, and one or more floatation devices. Such a design may allow for a floating skimmer and pump with no need for installation in a side wall. In some embodiments, the device can further comprise a pre-filter. For example, in some embodiments, the strainer and filter can remove large objects and particulates, respectively, before the water passes through the pump. As disclosed in some embodiments, various components of the device may be removeable and replaceable to extend the lifetime of the device.

SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR STORMWATER MANAGEMENT

A fluid management system including an inlet configured to receive pre-processed fluid is provided. The system includes a filtering apparatus configured to remove contaminants from the pre-processed fluid. The filtering apparatus includes a plate having a first opening. A first manifold pipe is disposed on the plate and includes one or more perforations and a second opening at least partially aligned with the first opening. A second manifold pipe is disposed on the plate and includes one or more perforations. Filter media is disposed between the first manifold pipe and the second manifold pipe and is configured to separate the contaminants from the pre-processed fluid. The system also includes an outlet coupled to the second manifold pipe to receive processed fluid from the filtering apparatus.

Stormwater filtration system with internal bypass pipe

Structures, methods, and assemblies for stormwater management systems with one or more internal bypass features incorporated into a vault-shaped enclosure are described, along with methods and additional structures that are useful for managing stormwater flow and inhibiting the flow of pollutants, debris, and other contaminants into drainage systems. A first compartment disposed within the vault and comprising a removable bypass pipe, a baffle wall adjacent to the bypass pipe, a screened floatables baffle attached to the baffle wall, and a fluid-conveyance opening disposed along the baffle wall are described. A fluid-conveyance opening is located below the top of a bypass pipe, and a second compartment is in fluid communication with the first compartment through the fluid-conveyance opening. A second compartment is adapted to incorporate a filtration cartridge. An underdrain defined at least in part by the upper and lower floor slabs of the vault is disposed below and in fluid communication with the first compartment through the bypass pipe.

SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR REMOVAL ON CONTAMINANTS FROM A LIQUID

A liquid treatment system and methods for removing contaminants from a liquid flow is disclosed. The treatment system having a treatment zone, a nanobubble diffuser system and a skimmer cassette assembly configured to remove the nanobubble and contaminant agglomeration from the liquid flow. The nanobubble diffuser system configured to diffuse negatively charged nanobubbles into the liquid flow whereby the nanobubbles adhere to positively charged contaminants and the nanobubble and contaminant agglomeration is urged to float towards a surface of the liquid flow in the treatment zone and be removed by the skimmer cassette assembly. In some embodiments, larger bubble diffuse systems are provided to increase the rise rate of contaminants. In some embodiments, the treatment system is a floating vessel. In some embodiments, the treatment system is configured to remove microplastics down to a size of about 1 mm and less.

Self-cleaning pre-filter for a water circulation pump
11375698 · 2022-07-05 ·

A water circulation pump pre-filter unit (PFU). The PFU is submerged and provides structure to camouflage the system to give a natural and aesthetic look. The PFU comprises at least two cleaning systems: (1) biological cleaning mechanism; and (2) an internal self-cleaning mechanism. Specifically, the PFU comprises several filtering surfaces that form a repository for pond debris on which fish and other aquatic creatures feed, i.e., the biological cleaning mechanism. These filtering surfaces of the PFU also provide a protective barrier that prevents large debris from entering the circulation pump. The internal self-cleaning mechanism is a spray wash water source mechanism used to clean the PFU without removing the PFU or fish from the pond or entering the water. Together these features improve the quality of the water in the pond and extend the life of a pump.
