Production method of self-fitting nano catalytic wastewater treatment agent
The method in the disclosure is achieved by chemically reacting diluted sulfuric acid generated when industrial sulfate titanium white powder production with a titanium raw material, and controlling an acid/titanium ratio and an iron/titanium ratio so as to produce the nano catalytic wastewater treatment agent. When being used for treatment of dyeing wastewater and other alkaline wastewater, by virtue of alkaline and dilution environment in wastewater, the nano catalytic wastewater treatment agent is subjected to self-fitting hydrolysist to produce a new ecological nano titanium dioxide ultrafine particle as a catalyst for decomposing organic matters in wastewater so as to decompose the organic matters into carbon dioxide and water; a decomposed and oxidized hydrated iron compound is used as a flocculation and adsorption nano particle, achieving the purpose of removing organic matters in wastewater.
OXIDANT ENHANCED FEAMMOX ACTIVITY
In one aspect, oxidant is employed for enhancing Feammox activity. Briefly, a medium comprises an ammonium containing contaminant, an iron component, an oxidant, and a Feammox bacterium and/or enzyme thereof capable of oxidizing ammonium with reduction of Fe(II) to Fe(III), wherein the oxidant regenerates Fe(III) via Fe(II) oxidation. In some embodiments, the medium is soil and/or water.
SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR GENERATION OF REACTIVE OXYGEN SPECIES AND APPLICATIONS THEREOF
Reactive oxygen species formulations as well as methods for making and using such formulations. Reactive oxygen species formulations comprising one or more parent oxidants, such as peroxides, or peroxyacids, and one or more reactive oxygen species (ROS). The formulations optionally contain in addition one or more reactive species other than ROS. The reactive oxygen species and other reactive species when present provide chemical reactivity, oxidative activity and/or antimicrobial activity not provided otherwise by the parent oxidant. The invention provides methods for making such formulation and applications of such formulations. In certain formulations, ROS and other reactive species are generated in situ in the formulation by an activation event, such as a change in pH to an activation pH, a change in temperature, irradiation with electromagnetic radiation or by the addition of one or more precursors or a combination of precursors. In certain formulations, peracid containing precursors are activated by adjusting the pH of the formulation to be within an activation pH range for generation of singlet oxygen. In other formulations, formulations containing peracid and superoxide also evolve singlet oxygen. Formulations containing different combinations of ROS exhibit differences in oxidation activity and antimicrobial activity.
Process for decontamination of hazardous sulfur compounds in sour water tanks
A method and system treat contaminated water. In one embodiment, the method comprises treating contaminated water by introducing a methylmorpholine-N-oxide solution to a vessel. The vessel contains the contaminated water and iron oxide. The contaminated water comprises contaminants. In addition, the methylmorpholine-N-oxide solution comprises methylmorpholine-N-oxide and water. The method further comprises contacting the methylmorpholine-N-oxide solution with the contaminated water. In addition, the method comprises treating the contaminated water by allowing the methylmorpholine-N-oxide to react with the contaminants in the presence of the iron oxide.
CHLORINE-GENERATING ASSEMBLY
Assemblies designed to facilitate detection of water flow in low water flow situations. In some embodiments, the assembly includes a channel that narrows from an inlet end of the assembly to an outlet end of the assembly to increase the velocity of water flowing through the channel. In some embodiments, the assembly may also include a water delivery mechanism that delivers water flowing through the channel to a flow sensor and enables the detection of water flow, even in low flow situations.
WATER TREATMENT SYSTEM
A water treatment system is provided with a nitrogen-containing organic compound oxidizing device that treats the first-stage treatment water after filtration and removal of cation ions. An oxidant-containing water stream and an inorganic bromide-containing water stream are respectively added into a pipeline that conducts the first-stage treatment water and then pass through an in-pipe mixer and a mixing unit, whereby to oxidize the nitrogen-containing organic compounds in the first-stage treatment water and then form the second-stage treatment water for output.
Method for treating sulfides in waste streams
A method for treating sulfide in an aqueous fluid comprises contacting the fluid with an oxidizer in the presence of a sulfur dye or sulfurized vat dye. In one embodiment, the method comprises treating; sulfide contaminated water by contacting the contaminated water with a gas including oxygen in the presence of a sulfur dye or a sulfurized vat dye. The method is useful for remediating industrial, agricultural, and municipal wastewater.
Method for controlling chlorinated nitrogen-containing disinfection by-product in water
Disclosed is a method for controlling a chlorinated nitrogen-containing disinfection by-product in water, including the following steps: firstly, the pH value of a water sample is controlled, ultraviolet irradiation treatment is used and a persulfate or hydrogen persulfate is added at the same time, then chlorination disinfection is carried out, and finally, aeration treatment is carried out, so that a water sample from which the chlorinated nitrogen-containing disinfection by-product in water is removed and obtained. The method can effectively control the formation of chlorinated N-DBPs, and can effectively reduce the amount of trichloromethane in the subsequent chlorination disinfection process.
