The assembly includes a first housing section having a first filter element; a second housing section having a second filter element; and a connector disposed between the first and second housing sections. A housing includes the first housing section, the connector, and the second housing section. The flow direction is through the first and second filter elements in series.
Device for UV-LED liquid monitoring and treatment
A liquid treatment device includes a base with a power source, a UV-LED module for providing UV-B or UV-C light to liquid, an LED for providing visible light, and a processor for selectively powering the UV-LED module and the LED, and having a UV transmissive material above the UV-LED module for allowing the UV-B or UV-C band light from the UV-LED module to be transmitted from the base housing, and a liquid storage housing removably coupled to the base housing with a storage portion configured to hold liquid and having a bottom portion comprising a UV transmissive material for allowing the UV-B or UV-C band light from the UV-LED module to be transmitted into the liquid, and an output coupled for restricting outflow of the liquid from the storage portion.
A BEVERAGE FILTRATION DEVICE
Beverage filtration device including a lid body having an internal housing configured to hold an ion exchange resin-filed cartridge therein having a connection end and a top end having an opening therein, and, stem body having a cap region, collar, beverage conduit and stem air tube. The cap region couples to the connection end of the lid body to form a liquid-tight seal there-between. A collar wall first portion fits inside a beverage mouth container and a second portion located outside of the mouth. The beverage conduit spans the collar, a first conduit opening open to the coupling between the cap region the connection end and a second conduit open to a container interior. The stem body air tube extends through the collar, a proximal opening of the stem body air tube opens to an air vent hole located in the second portion of the collar wall, and, a distil opening of the stem body air tube opens to the container interior.
Antibacterial product and method of manufacturing the same
Disclosed is an antibacterial product including at least one antibacterial part, wherein the antibacterial part includes a surface layer containing silver sintered under a nitrogen atmosphere or silver oxide sintered under an oxygen atmosphere. The antibacterial product prevents the proliferation of bacteria arising due to use thereof, kills bacteria, sterilizes and purifies contaminated water, and exhibits an antibacterial effect against harmful bacteria within at most 6 hr, and preferably an early antibacterial effect within 3 hr, especially 2 hr.
Pressurization System for Portable Water Filters
A pressurization system may be disposed below a standard water bottle containing dirty water or water obtained from a stream or lake as often found when camping or backpacking. The pressurization system may comprise a pump bulb or other means of pressurizing an inner void, the inner void defined by the pressurization system and disposed below the dirty water and disposed above a filtration system. Upon squeezing the bulb, a supply check value introduces pressurized air into the inner void, the pressurized air forcing dirty water into and through the water filtration system. Upon release of the bulb, a negative pressure within the bulb opens return valve drawing air into the bulb through a return air void. The disclosed embodiments do not require squeezing or deforming a container of dirty water and may be placed in fluid connection with standard water bottles and water filters.
Liquid sanitation device and method
A method for a water bottle comprising, coupling a cap to bottle housing such that an interior of the water bottle and the cap form a water-tight region, receiving a button push on the cap, determining with a light sensor whether visible light is present in a vicinity of a UV LED light source disposed within the cap, in response to the push of the button, initiating providing with a UV LED light source UV light to the interior in response to the push of the button and in response to absence of the visible light within the vicinity of the UV LED light source, and inhibiting providing with the UV light to the interior after a period of time after the initiating providing UV light to the interior or in response to determining the visible light being present in the vicinity of the UV LED light source.
LIGHT RADIATING MODULE AND STERILIZATION APPARATUS COMPRISING THE SAME
A sterilization apparatus includes a light source unit for emitting light to a sterilization region for sterilizing a target particle, a power supply unit for supplying power to the light source unit, and a photodiode unit for sensing the light from the light source unit. The photodiode unit is driven by the light from the light source unit.
Multi-Use Sanitizing Mop and Sprayer
A versatile sanitizing and cleaning apparatus (10) has a reservoir (30), a removable base (40) at the bottom of the reservoir having electrodes (52, 54) that extend up into the reservoir (30) for electrolyzing water within the reservoir, and an opening (32) at the top end of the reservoir. A cap (60) having a valve (61) that is biased to the normally-closed position screws to the top of the reservoir (30), allowing the reservoir to be turned upside-down and inserted into a receiving portion (22) of a mop, thus allowing the mop (12) to use electrolyzed water for cleaning. Alternatively, instead of being used with the cap (60) and mop (12), the reservoir (30) and base (40) can be mated with a hand sprayer (64) allowing the reservoir (30), base (40), and hand sprayer (64) to be used as a spray bottle (69) to spray electrolyzed water for cleaning purposes.
