A grease trap is provided. The grease trap comprises a container having an inlet opening and an outlet opening disposed in an upper portion thereof and a liner placed inside the container. The liner forms an enclosure and comprises a liner body having an inlet fitting and an outlet fitting mounted thereto. Each of the inlet fitting and the outlet fitting protrude the respective inlet opening and outlet opening and each of the inlet fitting and the outlet fitting are adapted for being connected to a plumbing system for receiving water containing FOG and for providing the water after separation of the FOG, respectively. An inlet baffle and an outlet baffle are disposed inside the liner body and mounted thereto. The inlet baffle and the outlet baffle each surround a respective inlet and outlet and extend downwardly therefrom.

A device (1) for cleaning a liquid (3) contaminated with oil, comprising a filling (7) made of a material that absorbs the oil (2), which filling is located inside a container (4) and is arranged between an inlet and an outlet (5, 6) of the container (4). According to the invention, the absorption property and handling of the filling (7) is increased by virtue of the fact that the filling is formed by a package-type tangle of keratin structures (8) that are randomly arranged and stochastically distributed in all three dimensions, which in the operating state of the device (1), comprise a closed container edge (9) between the inlet and the outlet (5, 6), and rest thereon in a liquid-tight manner.

Various aspects of this disclosure relate to toilet systems that include compositions to inhibit wastewater from freezing in a waste tank of a toilet. A first fluid treatment composition comprises a salt that is introduced into the waste tank. A second fluid treatment composition is a solid composite that also comprises a salt and that is introduced into a urinal in fluid communication with the waste tank.

The present disclosure provides an apparatus for preventing offensive odors for a drain port, the apparatus including: a plate that is formed in a plate shape so that it can be stably attached to the upper part of a drain manhole, and has a through hole formed in the center; a drain pipe that is connected to the through hole in the lower direction of the plate, is bent laterally from the lower direction, and has a shape in which an end is cut diagonally; and a shielding film that is connected by a hinge to the end of the drain pipe, is opened by rainwater or sewage discharged from the drain pipe, or is closed by a load. With such a configuration, a drain pipe is formed to guide rainwater, and a shielding film that is opened by rainwater or closed by a load is provided at the end part of the drain pipe, thereby preventing offensive odors generated from the drain port and also preventing insects from flowing into the drain port.

Described herein is a grease and/or solids collection system that can be installed directly below a sink basin. The system generally comprises an insert cartridge for collecting both solids and grease contained in wastewater draining from the sink. The cartridge can be easily removed through the sink drain, emptied, and reinstalled, for example, using a handle positioned at the top of the cartridge and accessible through the sink drain.

A grease or oil separator system that includes a grease interceptor body with a variable flow control assembly. The grease interceptor system is a large tank with an inlet for wastewater and a downstream outlet for passing the wastewater minus separated grease and oil into a sewer system. Inside the tank, the grease floats to the top so that it can be removed through an opening in the top wall that provides an access port for clean out. The pickup for the outlet is located toward the bottom of the tank near the bottom wall so that only water separated from the grease flows into the sewer system. The variable flow control assembly varies the size of an opening in a conduit inside the interceptor body. Varying the size of the opening controls the flow from the inlet into the tank.

A sand disposal system is used with a sand management arrangement that handles flow-back of sand and other solid materials in a slurry of flow from well(s) at wellsite(s). The sand disposal system includes a tank filling module that mounts on a disposal tank at a wellsite. The module controls and weighs the disposal of the solid material or sand into the tank by actuating a flap and sensing weight with a weight sensor. The module also monitors the level in the tank to determine when emptying of the tank is needed. A control system can control operations of the module in conjunction with the other processes of the sand management arrangement.

An article, a container, and a method for disposing of fat, oil, and/or grease (FOG). The article may include a top portion including a top opening and a perimeter rim, and a body portion connected to and below the top portion having; a continuous FOG-impermeable membrane and upper and lower body portions. The body portion may include a body middle surface dividing upper and lower body portions and may be placed on at least a portion of a surface. The lower body portion may be sized to fit within a drain. The container may include an integrally formed continuous outer shell including a partially hollow interior, a top part having a top opening, and liquid impermeable bottom and upper parts, and a middle part dividing the top and bottom parts and including at least one middle edge for placement on a first surface.
