DEVICE FOR ULTRAVIOLET IRRADIATION OF FLUIDS WITH INTEGRATED CONTAINER
An apparatus for treating a fluid comprises a fluid container having a chamber for holding the fluid and an ultraviolet (UV) reactor. The UV reactor comprises: an inlet in fluid communication with the chamber; an outlet located above the inlet; a conduit extending longitudinally between the inlet and the outlet to facilitate fluid flow from the inlet to the outlet in a first direction having a component antiparallel to the direction of gravity; and a UV emitter optically oriented to emit UV radiation directed toward the fluid travelling through the conduit. At least part of the chamber is located above the outlet to cause the fluid to flow from the chamber to the inlet and through the conduit to the outlet due to force of gravity.
Portable Water Filtration Device
The disclosed technology includes a water filtration unit. A disclosed water filtration unit includes a filtration unit housing defining a filtration unit cavity; an inlet coupled to the filtration unit housing; a pump positioned at least partially within the filtration unit cavity and including a pump inlet and pump outlet, the pump inlet coupled to the inlet; a filter housing positioned at least partially within the filtration unit cavity and including a filter inlet and filter outlet, the filter inlet coupled to the pump outlet and filter outlet coupled to a water dispenser; and a power source in communication with the pump to power the pump to push water through the filter housing when the water filtration unit is coupled to a water source.
DEVICE FOR TREATING FLUIDS AND ASSOCIATED METHOD
A device for treating fluids, comprising: —at least one electromagnetic field inductor element made of magnetically permeable material, configured to be coupled at a predetermined distance with respect to a duct within which said fluids flow in use, —a radiofrequency generator, comprising an output configured to supply a radiofrequency signal to the electromagnetic field inductor element; —wherein said radio frequency generator comprises an operating configuration in which it generates a signal comprising at least one pulses packet in turn comprising at least a first pulses train and a second pulses train; said first pulses train having a first predefined frequency; said second pulses train having a second predefined frequency; said first predefined frequency being distinct from the second predefined frequency.
HIGH-EFFICIENCY MICROBIOLOGICAL LIQUID PURIFICATION SYSTEM AND METHODS OF USE
A system and method for the microbiological purification of a liquid. The system includes a high-efficiency plate heat exchanger connected to a coil recirculation chamber via a high-efficiency infrared electric liquid-heater. The liquid enters the system at an ambient temperature, the temperature is raised by the heater and maintained in the chamber via recirculation by a pump. An electronic controller redirects the liquid through the exchanger to cool it and supply to a plumbed outlet. In combination, the system can be used to monitor and control various temperatures, pressures, flow rates, and heat exchanges in order to purify the liquid. The method includes steps to produce, install, implement, and use the liquid purification system to eliminate, neutralize, kill, or otherwise exclude/minimize biological organisms and contamination from the liquid.
Water treatment system
A water treatment system having a base assembly and a treatment assembly. The treatment assembly of the system may be configured to filter particulates from water. The base assembly may include a UV reactor operable to disinfect water for consumption.
Non-Electric Water Purifier
Proposed is a non-electric water purifier in which a flow path provided between a water-purifying filter and a water outlet cock is replaced in order to minimize contamination of purified drinking water. The non-electric water purifier includes a main body having a door formed on one side thereof so as to open and close the main body and having and having a receiving space part defined therein, a connector which is coupled replaceably and rotatably to one side of the main body and incudes a raw water passage connected to a raw water inlet and a purified water passage through which purified water flows, at least one filter housing being received in the receiving space part, with a discharge outlet of the filter housing being coupled detachably to the connector, and the water outlet cock which is connected to a discharge opening of the connector and discharges purified water.
LIQUID DISPENSER
A dispenser includes a water supply flow path to guide water supplied from a water supply source toward a filter; an auxiliary flow path to branch off at the first point of the water supply flow path and then to merge into a second point located downstream of the first point; a flow switching valve installed at the first point to control a flow from the water supply flow path to the auxiliary flow path; a water ejection nozzle through which filtered is ejected; a hot water module forming a heating flow path and configured to heat the purified water into hot water; a hot water flow path configured to guide the hot water passing through the hot water module toward the water ejection nozzle; and a controller to control the flow switching valve and the hot water module.
Water circuit assembly for a refrigerator
A water circuit assembly for a refrigerator that delivers water from a source to a first destination and a second destination spaced apart from the first destination. The water circuit assembly includes an inlet valve positioned outside a compartment of the refrigerator and a water filter assembly positioned adjacent a top wall and a first side wall of a liner that defines the compartment. The water circuit further includes a bracket secured to a rear wall of the liner, a water tank supported by the bracket along the rear wall of the liner, and a diverter valve attached to the bracket and fluidly connected to the inlet valve to thereby divert the flow of water from the inlet valve to a selected one of the first destination or the second destination.
Appliance water filter cartridge
A water filter cartridge is provided. The water filter cartridge includes a filter housing enclosing a filtration material therein. A port shield is connected at one end of the filter housing and disposed between the filter housing and a connector part adapted for securing the water filter cartridge to a refrigerator filter part. The port shield is provided for at least partially covering a water inlet port and a water outlet port extending at least between the connector part through the port shield and at least partially through the filter housing. The port shield at least partially encloses the water inlet and/or water outlet port therebetween and also separates the filtration material and unfiltered water within the filter housing from the portions of the water inlet and outlet port within the port shield.
