Household appliance having a catalytically effective surface and method for the operation thereof
The invention relates to a household appliance, which comprises at least one catalytically effective substance in a surface, wherein the catalytically effective substance is a polyoxometalate that is comprised in an inner an/or outer surface of the household appliance, provided that the polyoxometalate is comprised at least in an outer surface of the household appliance if the household appliance is a water-bearing household appliance having a container for receiving objects to be cleaned. The invention further relates to a method for operating the household appliance.
Sanitizing system
A sanitizing system for water treatment in appliances that use or that have an associated water cycle where sanitization of the water in the water cycle is beneficial. The system comprises a controller, a biocide, and a biocide injection subsystem, wherein the controller provides a signal to the injection subsystem to release a biocide into a water reservoir contained within the appliance, and further wherein the signal provided by the controller is in response to a signal received by the controller from the appliance.
WATER PURIFYING APPARATUS AND FILTER STRUCTURE
A water purifying apparatus including a head having a water inlet portion and a water outlet portion; a shaft provided in the head and rotatably mounted between the water inlet portion and the water outlet portion; a bypass flow path passing through a circumference of the shaft, and communicating the water inlet portion with the water outlet portion according to rotation of the shaft; a filter detachably mounted to the head, and having a filter inserting portion in which the shaft is inserted when being mounted on the head; and a filtering flow path in which an inlet port and an outlet port are formed on the circumference of the shaft in a direction intersecting the bypass flow path, and communicated between the filter, the water inlet portion and the water outlet portion with each other according to the rotation of the shaft.
FLOOR CLEANING APPARATUS PRODUCING CLEANING SOLUTION
A floor cleaning apparatus includes a floor cleaning apparatus body. A first tank is removably received by the vacuum cleaner body. A cartridge is removably received by the first tank. The cartridge releasably stores chemical elements. A first electrical contact is disposed in the floor cleaning apparatus body. A second electrical contact is disposed in the first tank. The second electrical contact is electrically connected to the first electrical contact when the floor cleaning apparatus body receives the first tank. Electrical power is configured to be supplied to the first electrical contact to release the chemical elements stored in the cartridge into water stored in the first tank. The supplied electrical power is configured to cause electrolysis of the water and the chemical elements in the first tank to produce a cleaning solution in the first tank.
SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR CREATING AN OXIDATION REDUCTION POTENTIAL (ORP) IN WATER FOR PATHOGENIC CONTROL
Systems and methods for creating an oxidation reduction potential (ORP) in water for pathogenic control are described. The systems and methods generate an oxidation reduction potential that provides pathogenic control of the solution as well as pathogenic control of the surfaces with which the solution comes in immediate contact. The system also provides purified drinking water to a tap or an ice making machine.
DEVICE FOR FILTERING OF LIQUID AND FILLING FOR A HOUSEHOLD ELECTRICAL APPLIANCE
A device for filtering of liquid and filling for a household electrical appliance including a main filtering device which is designed to filter a liquid; a main body including: a main tank having a pressing area that is deformable under the manual pressure by a user; a duct for emptying the main tank, the emptying duct designed to convey the filtered liquid from the main tank to a tank of a household electrical appliance when the deformable pressing area is deformed by the user. The main tank is situated downstream from the main filtering device, such as to receive and store the liquid filtered by said main filtering device.
Evaporative humidifier and control method thereof
An evaporative humidifier including a water bucket, a tub configured to accommodate water introduced from the water bucket, a humidifying element configured to execute humidification by receiving the water accommodated in the tub and evaporating the received water, and an ultraviolet ray emitting part provided on the tub to emit ultraviolet rays to the tub.
Multifunctional Mopping Machine
A multifunctional mopping machine includes a handle, a body and a main machine. The body includes a mounting base, and a housing provided with a cleaning assembly; the body is detachably connected to the mounting base; the main machine includes a negative pressure assembly and a power supply assembly; the power supply assembly, the negative pressure assembly and the cleaning assembly form a cleaning mechanism; and a water tank for supplying water to the cleaning assembly, and a sodium hypochlorite electrolysis generator are arranged on the mounting base. An ultraviolet sterilizing lamp facing the ground to be cleaned is arranged on the housing. A tail end of a dust collecting hose communicates with a negative pressure end of the main machine, and collects both dirty water and dust on the floor, so as to ensure no stain left on the floor, satisfying present floor washing requirements.
Air conditioner and method for controlling the same
An air conditioner includes a humidifying assembly and a control unit to control the humidifying assembly. The humidifying assembly includes a humidifying-receiving unit including a water tank configured to receive water and a humidifying-sterilizing unit configured to irradiate light to sterilize water received in the water tank. The control unit is configured to control a driving time of the humidifying-sterilizing unit based on an amount of water received in the water tank.
WATER FILTER
A replaceable water filter includes a filter assembly having a filter structure with first, second, and third filtering elements sharing a common axis, the first filtering element for removing and/or reducing particulate contaminants in the water, the second filtering element for removing and/or reducing particulate and organic contaminants in the water and the third filtering element for removing and/or reducing at least one of fluoride and arsenic in the water. The filter further includes a housing that contains the filter assembly. The housing includes a first end adapted to removably attach the filter to a filter mount of the refrigerator where the filter communicates with the water supply of the refrigerator. The first filtering element can be fabric, the second filtering element can be a carbon block, and the third filtering element can be activated alumina.
