HAT WITH BENDABLE BRIM
A sun hat having a bendable and shapeable brim is described. The bendable brim is characterized by a wire cable assembly secured in the brim of the hat along its perimeter. The wire cable assembly can comprise a loop of multi-strand metal cable enclosed in a slightly oversized flexible plastic sheath that is hermetically sealed at joining ends. The cable can be comprised of an annealed metal that permits it to be bent thousands of times without breaking.
HAIR WINDBREAKER
A hair covering to protect styled, typically long, hair from the effects of excessive wind. The hair covering is made of lightweight fabric such as thin nylon often used for windbreaker jackets, and thus the hair covering is termed a hair windbreaker. The hair windbreaker is especially beneficial for women with long hair, especially those who have just had an expensive salon styling and do not wish to muss their hair up. The hair windbreaker has an adjustably-sized head opening and may have an adjustably-sized hair opening.

The one or more pads are configured to engage the helmet or hat via an engagement mechanism, which may be selected from a hook and loop fastener, an adhesive, and friction snaps. A head cover that can be worn by health care professionals is provided. The head cover includes an anterior portion with a height h, a posterior portion with a height h.sub.2, at least one side portion or panel which may be shaped and sized so as to connect the anterior portion of the head cover and the posterior portion of the head cover, and where the at least one side portion has a contoured section t that forms all or a portion of a bottom edge of the side portion and that is shaped and sized so as to cover the ears, scalp, and sideburns of a user as required by AORN guidelines while also remaining clear of a user's eyes and field of vision.

HAT HAVING WIDE BRIM AND DETACHABLE CHIN STRAP
A hat for a person to wear on the golf course and off the golf course is provided. The hat is lightweight and comfortable to wear and yet is also durable to be worn in all weather conditions. The hat includes a crown and a wide brim than extends around the circumference of the crown to protect the wearer from outdoor weather elements such as sun, rain, wind, and snow. The hat also includes a detachable chin strap that can be removed and stored inside an interior pocket of the hat. In one embodiment, the rear region of the crown includes an opening for receiving a portion of the hair, for example, a ponytail, of the person wearing the hat. This opening can be closed by opposing first and second flaps.
PORTABLE SHADE ARTICLE CONFIGURED TO FIT OVER THE HEAD, OR HEAD AND HAT, OF A USER
An article configured to fit over a wearer's head, or head and hat, in a manner to create shade for at least the wearer's ears and neck. The article includes a first circular member defining a first central opening and second circular member defining a second central opening. The first circular member includes a series of cuts about an inner edge proximate to the first central opening with the second circular member joined to the first circular member proximate to the series of cuts. One or more size adjustment fasteners may be employed to accommodate different head sizes.
