DECORATIVE KNOT AND ARTICLE OF APPAREL OR HEADWEAR INCORPORATING SAME
A decorative knot for a turban or other article of apparel comprises a flexible core composed of solid polyethylene foam and having a uniform circular cross section. A length of polyester fabric fits over, and covers, the exterior surface of the core material and includes two overlapping layers extending laterally from the core material and sewn together. The fabric-covered core material is formed into a spiral consisting of multiple turns proceeding around an axis. The turns have a progressively increasing radius and are progressively axially displaced from one another. Adjacent turns of the spiral touch, and are sewn to one another. The overlapping layers of fabric that are sewn together extend inward toward the axis of the spiral and the decorative knot is secured to the turban by stitches that pass through the portion of the overlapping layers of fabric that extend inward from the largest turn of the spiral.

Method for producing hoods and arrangement of a plurality of hoods
The invention relates to a method for producing hoods in the form of hair nets having meshes, creating hoods having a first dimension over the head from front to rear and a second dimension crosswise thereto. A strand (20) of a net having a mesh (23) is created from threads (21). The strand (20) has two longitudinal sides. The number of meshes (23) of the set crosswise to the longitudinal sides corresponds to the number of meshes (11) of the hair net to be produced along the first or second dimension of the hair net. On or neighboring the two longitudinal sides of the strand (20), one elastic thread (22) each is fed into the other meshes (23) of the net. At specified, regular distances, the two elastic threads (22) are guided together and connected to one another. The distance is chosen such that the number of meshes (23) of the net between two connection points (24) in the longitudinal direction of the strand (20) corresponds to the number of meshes (11) of the hair net to be produced along the first or second dimension of the hair net. The two elastic threads (22) are connected by joining to one another by means of a sealing and/or melting process. A weakness (25) is introduced in the connection region (24).
FACE SHIELD SYSTEMS FOR SECURING REMOVABLE FACE SHIELD LENSES
An example face shield includes a face shield lens comprising a locking channel, a face shield shell configured to receive the face shield lens when the face shield is inserted into the face shield shell, and a lens lock configured to move between: a locked position in which the lens lock is configured to engage the locking channel of the face shield to secure the face shield lens to the face shield shell; and an unlocked position in which the lens lock is configured to disengage the locking channel of the face shield to permit insertion of the face shield to the face shield shell and removal of the face shield from the face shield shell.
Firefighter Hood with Protective Flap
A firefighter hood comprising a hood body configured to fit around a head of a wearer, wherein the hood body includes a face opening configured to be aligned with a face of the wearer when the hood is worn. The hood further includes a flap coupled to the hood body. The flap is movable between an extended position wherein the flap covers only part of the opening in front view, and a retracted position wherein the flap does not cover any of the opening in front view or covers less of the opening in front view compared to when the flap is in the extended position.
PROTECTIVE SLEEVE FOR HAIRS
A protective sleeve for preserving the style and texture of hairs during sleeping. The protective sleeve can include a broad sleeve portion having a first open end, wherein the broad sleeve portion configured to stretch over a bunch of hairs and worn over the head of a wearer; a narrow-elongated sleeve portion that has a second open end, wherein the narrow-elongated sleeve portion configured to cover the bunch of hairs, wherein the second open end configured to permit a tail of the bunch of hairs to pass through; and a flared sleeve portion that extends between the broad sleeve portion and the narrow-elongated sleeve portion, wherein the narrow-elongated sleeve portion, the broad sleeve portion, and the flared sleeve portion are integral.

HEAD PIECE ADAPTED FOR USE WITH AND WITHOUT EARMUFFS
A head piece (10) adapted to be worn with and without earmuffs (16), which head piece (10) includes ear portions (11) adapted to cover the ears of a person wearing the head piece (10). The ear portions (11) include at least one cover piece (12,12′12a,12b) that may be placed in an open mode in which it allows access of an earmuff (16) through the ear portions (11) of the head piece, wherein the cover piece (12,12′12a,12b) when in an closed mode covers the ear portion so as to keep the ears of a person wearing the head piece (10) covered.
