Flexible fabric ribbon connectors for garments with sensors and electronics
Elastic electrical connectors that may be incorporated into a garment to connect multiple electrical components in the garment. These electrical connectors are typically long strips of fabric substrate to which wires are attached along a length of one side in a sinusoidal or zig-zag pattern. The connector may also include an adhesive coating on one side to secure it to a fabric. The wires are electrically insulated, which may be a thermoremovable insulation (e.g., a polyurethane having a melting point of <400° C.). The wires may be attached to the surface of the fabric strip by a stitch at each peak and trough of the sinusoidal or zig-zag pattern with a length between peak and trough stitches between about 1 mm and 15 mm.

HOODED SUN SHIELD
An hooded sun shield is disclosed. The hooded sun shield includes a head piece including an opening, side vents and a plurality of fasteners, and a mask piece attachably coupled to the head piece via the plurality of fasteners over the opening, including a first layer and a second layer formed over the first layer, wherein the first layer and second layer form a horizontal vent in the mask piece. The dimensions of mask piece are greater than the dimensions of the opening of the hood piece, which creates vertical slits, facilitating the flow of breath and the movement of air through mask piece.
Head protection hood with integrated frame
A head protection hood having an outer surface configured to contact a surrounding environment, an inner surface configured to contact the head of a user, a head passage section, a face opening delimited by an edge at the eyes of the user, and a breathing area is provided. The head protection hood includes a frame connected along the edge of the face opening, that receives a visor and that has a first lip resting against the head of the user at an area situated between the root and the tip of the nose, at the front region, at the temples, and at the infra-orbital regions of the face of the user, thus forming a visual compartment separated from said breathing area. The frame further comprises a second peripheral lip situated between the first lip and the visor, the second peripheral lip extending from the frame towards said surrounding environment.
Head protection hood with integrated frame
A head protection hood having an outer surface configured to contact a surrounding environment, an inner surface configured to contact the head of a user, a head passage section, a face opening delimited by an edge at the eyes of the user, and a breathing area is provided. The head protection hood includes a frame connected along the edge of the face opening, that receives a visor and that has a first lip resting against the head of the user at an area situated between the root and the tip of the nose, at the front region, at the temples, and at the infra-orbital regions of the face of the user, thus forming a visual compartment separated from said breathing area. SKIN PROTECTING GARMENT
A skin protecting garment includes a back panel, a lower front panel coupled to the back panel, and an upper front panel coupled to the back panel. An upward facing opening is formed by the back panel and the upper front panel. The upward facing opening is dimensioned, shaped and positioned to expose a top of a user's head. A forward facing slit is between the lower front panel and the upper front panel. The forward facing slit is dimensioned, shaped and positioned to expose the user's eyes. The back panel, the lower front panel and the upper front panel are each formed of a material configured to block ultraviolet (UV) light.
Garment Shielding Device
A garment shielding device for preventing transfer of a substance from a head of a user to an article of clothing includes a shell that defines an interior space. The shell is flexible and has a bottom that is open. The bottom is configured to insert a head of a user into the interior space so that a perimeter of the bottom is positioned below a neckline of the user when the head of the user abuts a top of the shell. The shell is configured to prevent transfer of a substance, such as makeup, from the head of the user to an article of clothing as the user selectively dons and removes the article of clothing over the head of the user.
Cover system
A method and apparatus can include: providing a cover, the cover including face cover, neck cover, crown cover, side cover, and back cover; creating a cover opening in the cover above the face cover for exposure of facial features of a user from the cover; attaching a helmet cover at an attachment point near the back cover configured to expand around a helmet; and forming a helmet cover opening.
Protective Hood
A protective hood that can be securely positioned on a user's head. The protective hood includes a section that aligns with the user's eyes and provides for them to see through. Another section aligns with the user's mouth and restricts fluids from the user's mouth from passing beyond the section. The protective hood is design to be placed onto the top of the user's head and be pulled over their eyes and mouth.
