MOUSE TRAP
20230200370 · 2023-06-29 ·

A mouse catching and killing device and a method of eliminating mice with the mouse catching and killing device, the device including a jaw. The method comprises the steps of holding the jaw open until a mouse is sensed in the jaw, closing the jaw when a mouse is sensed in the jaw, providing a mechanism on a frame for moving the jaw to over a storage bin, opening the jaw so that the mouse falls from the jaw into the storage bin, and then returning the trap to its mouse ready position.

ANTI-TORSION RODENT TRAP SYSTEM AND KIT
20230200371 · 2023-06-29 ·

An anti-torsion system and kit for spring-powered rodent traps. The system and kit make use of one or more torsion-blockers. Each torsion-blocker includes a substrate having a first surface and a second surface opposite the first surface, a first fastening mechanism on the first surface of the substrate attaching the torsion-blocker to the base of the rodent trap, and a second fastening mechanism on the second surface of the substrate attaching the torsion-blocker to a surface upon which the rodent trap base rests. When a rodent trap is mounted using the system, the one or more torsion-blockers oppose the torsion force and prevents the twisting movement of the rodent trap base caused by the acceleration and snapping down of the hammer motivated by the spring from occurring.

Animal trap stabilizer

The animal trap stabilizer is adapted for use in bedding coil spring or long spring traps. The animal trap stabilizer is a structure formed in the shape of a rectangular shell that provides a non-compressible surface upon which the coil spring or long spring trap can be set. The animal trap stabilizer has formed in the surface a recessed structure that is shaped to allow the coil spring or long spring trap to be placed within the animal trap stabilizer such that the coil spring or long spring trap will be flush to the surface of the animal trap stabilizers. The animal trap stabilizer further comprises a mounting platform and a recessed structure.

A smart micro-mouse trap is disclosed herein which can be used to trap and kill the mouse, rat, rodent, etc. instantly. The embodiment comprises an enclosure for the mouse, a beam to detect the mouse, a trap, a latch and a solenoid powered by an electrical circuit to activate the tripping mechanism as the mouse enters the trap and breaks the beam. The smart micro-mouse trap is advantageous and useful as it is inexpensive, easy to operate, durable and allows for sanitary disposal of the dead mice, rats, rodents without contact to human.

Device and method for positioning a trap on a pole
20170332618 · 2017-11-23 ·

A device and method for positioning a coil spring actuated body grip trap on a pole. A strip of material having an aperture therethrough through is inserted between adjacent coils of the coil spring of a coil spring actuated body grip trap so that the aperture of the strip of material extends from the coils. A pole is driven into the ground, the pole having a diameter smaller than the diameter of the aperture of the strip of material. The aperture of the strip of material is slid onto the pole so that the body grip trap is at a desired position on the pole so that the aperture of the strip of material jam-locks on the pole by the weight of the trap.

Rodent trap having a pivoting platform

A trap has a housing including an entrance. Internally, the trap has a trigger structure including a trigger plate and a latch mechanism, coupled with the housing; and a pivoting structure pivotally coupled with the housing and adapted to releasably engage with the latch mechanism of the trigger structure. When the trap is triggered by a rodent, the pivoting structure disengages from the latch mechanism and the pivoting structure pivots towards a rear wall of the housing and the trigger plate, and the trigger plate pivots toward the pivoting structure, moving the rodent against towards the rear wall of the housing and trapping the rodent between the pivoting structure and the rear wall. Once the trap is triggered, the rodent is contained and in most cases, killed, within the trap.

ELECTROMECHANICAL PEST ANIMAL SUPPRESSION TRAP

Lethal wildlife traps comprising a trap compartment with an external entrance, an automatically-resetting lethal killing mechanism attached to or located within the trap container, a triggering device to actuate the lethal killing mechanism when the wildlife is positioned properly in the trap container, and an exit at the bottom of the trap container for allowing killed wildlife to fall out of the trap container to the ground or into a separate enclosure, provide economical, humane, and discreet traps for attracting and discretely killing pest species including, for example, nesting birds, rodents, and snakes; other small animals; or invertebrate species.
