Smart micro-mouse trap
A smart micro-mouse trap is disclosed herein which can be used to trap and kill the mouse, rat, rodent, etc. instantly. The embodiment comprises an enclosure for the mouse, a beam to detect the mouse, a trap, a latch and a solenoid powered by an electrical circuit to activate the tripping mechanism as the mouse enters the trap and breaks the beam. The smart micro-mouse trap is advantageous and useful as it is inexpensive, easy to operate, durable and allows for sanitary disposal of the dead mice, rats, rodents without contact to human.
Easy set tunnel form animal trap
A strike trap with improved reliability and ease of setting. In a preferred configuration the improved trap is in the form of a tunnel or tube trap. In a preferred embodiment the strike bar moves upward from a low position to strike against an interior wall or equivalent structure of the tube. The strike bar is set by pressing it downward to become automatically latched near a floor or bottom of the tube. With the downward set action a single hand or foot can provide the set motion wherein the ground or other support surface exclusively provides a reaction force. A two stage retention system provides reliable low force, low travel trip action. The strike bar therefore can pivot adjacent to a wall with the bar extending away there from. This compact arrangement ensures the tube entrances in the tube embodiment are adjacent to the wall.
SMART MICRO-MOUSE RAT TRAP
A smart micro-mouse trap is disclosed herein which can be used to trap and kill the mouse, rat, rodent, etc. instantly. The embodiment comprises an enclosure for the mouse, a beam to detect the mouse, a trap, a latch, and a solenoid powered by an electrical circuit to activate the tripping mechanism as the mouse enters the trap and breaks the beam. The smart micro-mouse trap is advantageous and useful as it is inexpensive, easy to operate, durable and allows for sanitary disposal of the dead mice, rats, rodents without contact to human.
Augmented rodent trap device and method of use
A removeable, adhesive wrapper used to augment any existing rodent trap by affixation to the top, side and bottom faces of the rodent trap's operating platform. It is folded about the operating platform and connected to itself, leaving an adhesive layer facing up in the region of the bait station. When the rodent steps on it and stops to take the bait, they are no longer capable of quickly moving when they activate the trap's trigger and the kill bar of the rodent trap is released. Even if the rodent does not reach the bait station, their jiggling efforts to extricate their feet and/or lower body from the adhesive wrapper will activate the trigger. Once dead, the adhesive wrapper may be unfolded and wrapped around the dead rodent for disposal.
Motion sensing rodent killing apparatus
A motion sensing rodent killing apparatus includes a housing that has a bottom wall and a perimeter wall. The perimeter wall includes a front wall. A motion sensor is directed outwardly away from the front wall. A ram is mounted on the housing and is movable toward or away from the front wall. A driving system is mounted to the housing and is engaged with the ram. The driving system retains the ram in a set position having the panel positioned adjacent to the front wall. When the motion sensor detects motion, the driving system drives the panel away from the housing to a deployed position with sufficient force such that a rodent positioned between the panel and a facing surface is killed by the panel.
Retention assemblies for animal traps
Disclosed herein is a retaining assembly for an animal trap. The retaining assembly includes a housing configured to be mounted to a base of the animal trap. A drawer is slidably coupled to the housing between a first position and a second position. A retaining feature is coupled to the drawer. The retaining feature is configured to engage with a retaining arm of the animal trap in the first position and disengage from the retaining arm in the second position.
SINGLE-HANDED TRAP
An animal trap for safely trapping animals that may be safely set with a single hand. The trap has a frame with an opening and a pair of doors that are pivotally affixed to the frame adjacent to the opening. The doors are movable between an open and closed position. A rotating assembly is connected to each door through a corresponding linkage that are pivotally connected to the rotating assembly and one of the doors. The rotating assembly is rotatably affixed to the frame and rotatable between a set position and a tripped position about an axis. A spring biases one of the doors toward its closed position and when the rotating assembly is in its set position. A trigger mechanism is pivotally affixed to the frame and has a set position and a tripped position, rotating the trigger mechanism will trip the trap.

MOTION DETECTING RODENT TRAY
A device for receiving a rodent trap includes a first planar portion for receiving the trap and a second planar portion operably connected to and extending from the first planar portion. The device also includes electronic components configured to be housed within one or more of the first planar portion or the second planar portion. The electronic components include a sensor configured to detect motion of an object located on one or more of the first planar portion or the second planar portion, a battery configured to provide power to the device; and a communications system configured to provide data from the sensor to a computing device.
Vertical trap
A snap style vermin trap disposed on a planar platform having a concave bait box with a vertical trigger. The bait box is centrally located on the front face of the trigger and positioned at a distance above the top face of the platform so as orientate the vermin into a physical posture that greatly enhances the probability of a kill or capture. The trap may be oriented with the platform beneath or above the rapid actuation means of the snap trap and it may use an optional housing to cover the rapid actuation means.
