Extender for an outerwear
An extender for an outerwear is described. The extender includes a first section and a second section. The first section provides a tapered first side and a substantially straight second side. The second section provides a tapered first side and a substantially straight second side. The extender also includes a fastening arrangement adapted to removably secure the second side of the first section to the second side of the second section. The extender also includes an anchoring arrangement arranged on the first side of the first section and the first side of the second section. The anchoring arrangement is adapted to removably secure the first section and the second section to first and second seams of the outerwear.
Multifunctional Hood System For Hooded Hunting Garments
A system of hoods built into hooded hunting garments, which makes the hunting garment multifunctional for concealment, or for high visibility safety. The hood system consists of an outer hood that is drab or camouflage, matching the garment itself, for the purpose of concealment, and an inner hood that is blaze color or blaze camouflage, for the purpose of high visibility safety. The hunter can quickly, easily, and quietly alternate on demand in the field, between functions of concealment or safety by selecting how the hoods are worn and exposed, without having to remove the entire garment from the body, or detach/reattach components, to do so. The hoods and garment's functions can be altered with one hand, and without removing hand coverings. The system of hoods creates a single multifunctional hunting garment that replaces the need for two distinct garments for specific hunting applications.
HOOD FOR USE IN A GARMENT
The present invention relates to a hood for use in a garment that deploys/retracts easily and retracts unobtrusively. Such a hood can improve the stackability of the hood or a garment incorporating such a hood. Therefore, the teachings herein cover both a garment with such a hood, and such a hood for attachment to a garment. The hood comprises: (a) a first edge and a second edge, at least a portion of the second edge being opposite the first edge; and (b) a first seam disposed between the first edge and the second edge, wherein the first seam does not extend from the first edge or the second edge and does not extend to the first edge or the second edge. The second seam and the first seam can form a shape such as a T-shape, a Y-shape, an arrow-shape, or a shape substantially similar thereto.
HOODED GARMENT WITH DETACHABLE MULTIPURPOSE SLEEVES
A garment includes a hood portion and a sleeve portion detachably engaged at its proximal end with the hood portion, e.g., by snaps. Each sleeve of the sleeve portion has a hand pocket at its distal end that a person wearing the garment can insert her hands into when the sleeve portion is attached to the hood portion. Also, each sleeve portion at its proximal end is open so that when detached from the hood portion, a person can place her arms into the sleeve portion.
Headwear
Implementations of a headwear are provided. In some implementations, a headwear comprising a hood portion, a right shoulder portion, a left shoulder portion, a right handle, a left handle, and a back portion. In some implementations, the right handle and left handle are elongated pieces of material that extend from the front portion of the right shoulder portion and left should portion, respectively, downwardly toward a wearer's waist when the hood portion is placed on the wearer's head. In some implementations, the back portion of the headwear extends from the back portion of the hood portion, right shoulder portion, and left shoulder portion downwardly toward a wearer's waist when the hood portion is placed on the wearer's head.
WATERFOWL HUNTING COAT WITH INTEGRATED MULTI-FUNCTIONAL POCKET SUITE AND METHODS OF USE FOR IMPROVED HUNTING EFFICIENCY, SAFETY, AND ENJOYMENT
A waterfowl hunting coat includes a coat torso portion covering the torso of the hunter. An integrated waterfowl hunting pocket suite includes a plurality pockets positioned on the coat torso portion. The integrated waterfowl hunting pocket suite includes at least one shell pouch that has a flapless opening and is positioned on a lower portion of the coat torso portion for receiving shotgun shells and making the shotgun shells and other ammunition accessible to the hunter. An upper cargo pocket provides a side loading opening for storing and permitting ready access to items of the hunter other than shotgun shells. A lower cargo pocket includes a side loading opening for storing and permitting ready access to items of the hunter other than shotgun shells. A hand warmer pocket is positioned apart and away from the shell pouch, the upper cargo pocket, and the lower cargo pocket and for accepting the hand of the hunter by the hunter bending his elbow to an approximate 90-degree angle.
Hood apparatus
A hood apparatus has structure to be removably engagable to a jacket and further structure to help eliminate reduced user peripheral vision from the hood via the user turning their head side to side. The structure of the hood is to create a slackened removable engagement between the hood and the jacket. Further structure of the hood is to provide multiple axes of adjustability for the hood to form around a user's head in effect causing the hood move in lockstep to the user's side to side head movement. These multiple axes of adjustability include a circumferential elastic drawstring positioned about the user's face periphery and an added independent lateral elastic drawstring that is partially parallel to the circumferential elastic drawstring for about an upper one-third of the user's face periphery wherein the lateral elastic drawstring is routed laterally toward the rear of the hood.
HEADWEAR WITH AN INFLATABLE CUSHION, JACKET WITH AN INFLATABLE CUSHION AND METHODS FOR WEARING THEREOF
The present application discloses a headwear with the inflatable cushion including a main body and the inflatable cushion. The inflatable cushion is coupled to the main body. The main body includes a top portion, a right side portion, a left side portion and a rear portion. The inflatable cushion is coupled to the right side portion, the left side portion and the rear portion. The jacket with the inflatable cushion including a clothing and the headwear is also disclosed. The main body is coupled to the clothing. Methods for wearing the headwear and the jacket are also disclosed.
Garment With Sound Absorbing Layer
A garment engaged in a sound-reducing state includes a first garment portion formed with a sound-absorbing material with transmission loss properties and configured to surround a wearer's head and ears to form a substantially enclosed reduced-sound zone, when the first garment portion is engaged in a sound-reducing state. The garment also includes a second garment portion operable with the first garment portion, for example, where the first garment portion is a hood and the second garment portion is the body of a hooded sweatshirt. In the sound-reducing state, the sound-absorbing barrier material reduces an amount of sound passing through the sound-absorbing material and over the material on the inside of the reduced-sound zone into the substantially enclosed reduced-sound zone.
