A firefighter hood comprising a hood body configured to fit around a head of a wearer, wherein the hood body includes a face opening configured to be aligned with a face of the wearer when the hood is worn. The hood further includes a flap coupled to the hood body. The flap is movable between an extended position wherein the flap covers only part of the opening in front view, and a retracted position wherein the flap does not cover any of the opening in front view or covers less of the opening in front view compared to when the flap is in the extended position.

A hat includes a brim having a front portion and a back portion. The hat also includes a crown which is coupled with the back portion of the brim. The brim includes one or more intake ports placed along the back portion of the brim and the crown includes one or more exhaust ports.

An apparatus is disclosed. The apparatus may include a hat. The hat may include a crown. The hat may include a bill coupled to the crown. The bill may protrude away from the crown. The apparatus may include a strip of pliant, resilient material. The strip may be coupled to the hat. The pliant, resilient material of the strip may include a high-density, closed-cell foam. The strip may be coupled to the bill of the hat.

A hat holder device for securing a billed hat to a surface. The hat holder device includes an upper wall attached to a lower wall, forming a bill pocket therebetween configured to slidably and removably secure a bill of the billed hat therein. The upper wall is attached to the lower wall by two attachment blocks, or enclosed stitching, and the upper wall is attachable to the surface by any suitable means, including clips, straps, and the like. The hat holder device is useful for securing the billed hat to a visor of a vehicle, a headrest of the vehicle, a backpack, an interior wall of a building, an exterior wall of the building, or any other surface.

The present disclosure may relate to a hat. The hat may include a cavity with an opening configured to receive a head of a user. The hat may also include an adjustable band around the opening of the cavity that may adjust a volume of the cavity between a first volume and a second volume. The hat may also include a hanging element coupled to the cavity and configured to be substantially concealed within the cavity at either the first volume or the second volume, be substantially disposed outside of the cavity at either the first volume or the second volume, and transition back and forth between being substantially concealed within the cavity and being substantially disposed outside of the cavity at either the first volume or the second volume.

An eyeshield assembly configured to couple to a brim of a head covering includes a pivot arm with a latch surface. The pivot arm is configured to move between a latched position, when the eyeshield assembly is in a use position, and a released position, when the eyeshield assembly is in a non-use position. The eyeshield assembly also includes a latch arm with a distal end configured to receive the latch surface of the pivot arm when the pivot arm is in the latched position. Additionally, the eyeshield assembly includes a hinge assembly operably coupled to the pivot arm and including a biasing element. The biasing element is configured to pivot the pivot arm relative to the latch arm to move the pivot arm from the latched position to the released position without human intervention.

Reconfigurable headwear includes a scarf and a hood. In another aspect, a scarf of a headwear garment only extends from one side of a hood. Yet another aspect provides a scarf integrally extending from a hood, with a distal end of the scarf wrapping around the hood and with essentially infinite adjustability secured away from a face opening. A further aspect of a hood and single scarf permanently attached to and extending from only one side of the hood, also has a border externally located on the hood adjacent a face opening, with the border having a different material characteristic from a top of the hood but having the same material characteristic has an exterior of the scarf.

Reconfigurable headwear includes a scarf and a hood. In another aspect, a scarf of a headwear garment only extends from one side of a hood. A handle headgear secures handles and straps to the head of a wearer so that a child riding on the back of the wearer can grab the handles and strap for support. The handle headgear may provide frame strapping for supporting the handles and straps, wherein the frame strapping can be anchored to the head of wearer with chin straps provided by the frame strapping. A substructure may be joined to the frame strapping for further securing the handles and straps.

A baseball cap (100) and method of assembling thereof is provided. The cap (100) includes a single-panel crown (110) that is formed from a single sheet or single piece of stretchable fabric, such as using heat pressing techniques. The single-panel crown (110) has a hemispherical shape. The cap (100) further includes a support layer (230), such as made from buckram, which is attached to an interior, front portion of the single-panel crown (110), and a visor (120) and an elastic band (260) which are attached to the single-panel crown (110).
