Systems and methods for information capture
Disclosed herein are information capture systems and related methods. An information capture system includes a sensor secured to an object configured to be involved with a possible event. The sensor is configured to detect one or more stimuli that are associated with the possible event, and transmit a sensor signal indicating data corresponding to the one or more stimuli. The information capture system also includes a recording device configured to record information responsive to a triggering event determined from the sensor signal. A method includes analyzing sensor data from the sensor, determining, from the sensor data, that a triggering event occurred, and recording post-trigger information following the determination of the triggering event.
Balaclava hood system
A disposable aspirated inflatable safety protection balaclava hood system and apparatus designed to protect the human head and neck from injury resulting from sports impacts with a crash sensor arrangement in which acceleration, angular, rotational, extension or flexion motion resulting from an impact force requires deployment of an apparatus protection device. The method embodies an inherent bladder airbag system that is deployed with resulting impact force on the sensor arrangement using an actuation mechanism and an inflation interconnected bladder system, or tube(s) resulting in release of the inert compressed inert gas in a cartridge actuation mechanism using a triggering mechanism, which is held in an interior pocket of the hood resulting in aspiration of the inflatable safety bladder protection hood.
TWO-PART PULSED ELECTROMAGNETIC FIELD APPLICATOR FOR APPLICATION OF THERAPEUTIC ENERGY
Pulsed electromagnetic field (PEMF) apparatuses and methods of making and using them. In particular, described herein are two-part PEMF apparatuses that include a self-contained, lightweight, small, compact (e.g., in some variations, wearable) generator unit that is adapted to releasably and replaceably mate with an applicator unit. The generator unit typically includes a power source and a controller that generated PEMF waveforms to be applied, including the shape and timing of the PEMF waveforms. The applicator unit typically includes a radio frequency (RF) power amplifier, a loop antenna, and impedance matching circuitry for matching the impedances for the connection between the antenna loop and the RF power amplifier. Thus, the generator module may control the application of PEMF signals without requiring impedance matching between the separable generator unit and the applicator unit. The applicator unit can include a plurality of variable capacitors that can be used to tune the PEMF signals.
HEADGEAR FOR DRY ELECTROENCEPHALOGRAM SENSORS
A headgear for placing sensors on a subject's head includes a centerpiece; a plurality of arms attached to and radiating outward and generally downward from the centerpiece; and sensor tips attached to the dorsal ends of at least some of the arms. At least one of the plurality of arms is a lower arm that is elastic and/or spring-like. When the headgear is placed on a subject's head, the at least one lower arm is so disposed in relation to the maximum circumference of the subject's head that the at least one lower arm must be bent outward for placement of the headgear on the subject's head and thereby provide a reactive force toward the head that causes the at least one lower arm to grasp at least a portion of the head that is at and/or below the maximum circumference of the head.
Devices, Systems and Methods for Unobtrusively Monitoring Patient Vital Signs
Various embodiments of devices, systems and methods for using a cap to unobtrusively monitor a patient's vital signs are disclosed. More specifically, a stocking cap includes at least one primary compartment configured for receiving a first biometric sensor, at least one third compartment configured for receiving a cartridge, at least one fourth compartment configured for receiving a transmitter, at least one channel configured for routing at least one connector, and at least one fifth compartment configured for receiving an antenna. A system for use with such a cap includes a sensor which outputs vitals, a cartridge configured to receive the vitals from the sensor, process the received vitals, and output the processed vitals to a server. The server providing processed vital signals for use and display on a tablet or other user presentation and user interface device.
SMART HAT, METHOD AND DEVICE FOR CONTROLLING SMART HAT
A smart hat, a method and device for controlling the smart hat are provided. The smart hat includes a brim, and the method includes: acquiring configuration reference information of the brim, and the configuration reference information includes: attitude information of the brim and sunlight irradiation information; acquiring setting parameters according to the configuration reference information; reconfiguring the attitude of the brim according to the setting parameters.
TEXTILE OR FABRIC WITH ATTACHED FLEXIBLE AND CONFORMABLE LIGHT SOURCE APPARATUS
There is provided a device that requires the presence of a textile or fabric; and a flexible and conformable light source apparatus attached to the textile or fabric, where the light source apparatus requires: at least one light source; at least two conductive members having a first end and a second end, the first end is connected to the at least one light source and the second end is adapted to connect to a power source; and at least one transparent polymer layer that encapsulates the entirety of the at least one light source and at least part of the at least two conductive members.
CAP WITH A BILL HAVING UPPER AND LOWER PORTIONS DISPLAYING INFORMATION WHEN SPACED-APART
A flip cap which has crown and bill portions, the bill having upper and lower members, at least one of the upper and lower members having a surface capable of displaying information secured thereto when the upper and lower members are spaced-apart.
VISIBILITY-ENHANCING DEVICE
Disclosed herein is a visibility-enhancing device that requires the presence of a textile or fabric having an internal surface and an external surface; and a flexible and conformable visible light source apparatus attached to the textile or fabric, wherein the visible light source apparatus comprises: at least one visible light source that is positioned towards the internal surface of the textile or fabric and/or is positioned to provide light at an angle that is substantially perpendicular to the internal surface of the textile or fabric; at least two conductive members having a first end and a second end.
Hat having rear-view camera
The present invention relates to a hat having a rear-view camera that includes a hat body with an insertion body and a brim, an upward/downward extension and contraction part disposed on the peak of the insertion body and thus extending upward or contracting downward vertically to freely adjust the rear-view camera disposed on top thereof upward and downward in height, and a forward/backward extension and contraction part freely adjusted forward and backward in length from the top of the brim to freely adjust a display part forward and backward, so that the rear-view camera is freely adjusted in height on the top of the insertion body of the hat body to allow a video providing a situation behind a wearer who wears the hat body to be transmitted to the display part.
