MONITORING DEVICES AND METHODS
Monitoring devices and monitoring technology are disclosed for a number of applications. A monitoring device that attaches to a measurement site includes at least one of an optical sensor, a temperature sensor, or first and second electrical contact sensors. A monitoring device or a smart garment can be powered by one or more bio-batteries that is each formed by electrodes in contact with the user's body (e.g., skin) or an animal. Various method and algorithms can be used to process signals received from the optical sensor, a temperature sensor, and/or first and second electrical contact sensors. The signals received from the optical sensor, a temperature sensor, and/or first and second electrical contact sensors can be transmitted to a host device. An application program on a host device can process the signals to compute one or more physiological parameters, waveform data, trend data, and/or one or more reports.
WEARABLE AUDIO USER INTERFACE APPARATUS, METHOD, AND ARTICLE OF MANUFACTURE
A method, apparatus, and article of manufacture for a wearable audio user interface are described. In accordance with at least one embodiment, the apparatus or article of manufacture comprises a head covering configured to cover an upper portion of a user's head, a transmit audio transducer located in a forehead region of the head covering, and a receive audio transducer located in a temporal region of the head covering. The transmit audio transducer is configured to provide directional response oriented toward a user's mouth to obtain a transmit audio signal. The receive audio transducer is configured to convert a receive audio signal to a form perceptible by a user's ear. As one example, the head covering comprises elasticized knit textile material, and an interface circuit may be located in an occipital region of the head covering and connected to the transmit audio transducer and to the receive audio transducer.
Folding hat with integrated display system
A folding hat can include an integrated display system. Methods for folding and manufacturing the hat with integrated displays are also disclosed. The hat can include a visor and cap of various materials integrated with displays. The hat can have hinges that fold the assembly into a small volume for stowing. The hinges are configurable in a multitude of positions and geometries to provide different folding techniques and folded geometries. Such configurations allow for a range of options for carrying and storing the folding hat with integrated display system.
Hard hat with integrated electronic systems
The hard hat with integrated electronic systems is a hard hat comprising a shell, headband, sweatband, suspension harness, and size adjustment ratchet and knob. The hard hat also comprises electronics, which allow the user to listen to radio broadcasts, determine the time, receive and initiate mobile phone calls, issues voice commands to a paired device, or combinations thereof. A pair of audio transducers mounted adjacent to the ears allows the user to hear radio broadcasts and mobile phone audio. A microphone mounted on the control panel allows the user to talk during a mobile phone call or speak voice commands. A microprocessor within the hard hat controller manages devices and routes signals. A control display and operator controls accessible on the exterior side of the hard hat allows the user to change settings and pair the hard hat with a smart phone.
HYDRATION SYSTEM AND COMPONENTS THEREOF
A headset for a hydration system is disclosed. The headset includes a fluid conduit adapted to connect to a distal end of a hydration system supply tube, and a magnetic quick connect having an upstream and a downstream coupling member. The upstream and downstream coupling members have a common mating axis and together define a portion of the fluid conduit. The upstream member also includes an off-axis arm that may be rotated about the mating axis without decoupling the coupling members. A headgear mount for use in headsets for hydration systems, such as the disclosed headset, is also provided.
Smart hat, method and device for controlling smart hat
A smart hat, a method and device for controlling the smart hat are provided. The smart hat includes a brim, and the method includes: acquiring configuration reference information of the brim, and the configuration reference information includes: attitude information of the brim and sunlight irradiation information; acquiring setting parameters according to the configuration reference information; reconfiguring the attitude of the brim according to the setting parameters.
HEADWEAR FOR USE WITH PERSONAL COMMUNICATION DEVICES INCLUDING A CAMERA
An article of headgear to be worn on the head of a user includes a first portion to encompass at least a portion of the head of the user and a visor extending forward from the first portion. The visor includes a laterally extending opening therein to receive a personal communication device including a camera such that a lens of the camera is positioned below the lower surface of the visor.
Body mounted camera system
A body mounted camera system may include a band structure having an inner surface positionable against a user's body, an outer surface facing away from the user's body, and an interior cavity between the inner surface and the outer surface; a camera within the interior cavity including a lens exposed through the outer surface of the band structure; a controller within the interior cavity for controlling the camera, the controller including an interconnection module for connecting to an outside device; a power source within the interior cavity for powering the controller and the camera; and electrical connections connecting the controller, the power source, and the camera.
INTELLIGENT HEAD COVER AND CONTROL METHOD THEREOF, AND TERMINAL
An intelligent head cover includes: multiple sensors, a hairstyle processing component and a controller; where the multiple sensors are configured to acquire sensory data related to a user, the controller is configured to control the hairstyle processing component to perform a hairstyle processing action based on a control instruction. The control instruction is generated based on the sensory data.
VR MASK SYSTEM AND METHOD
A VR mask system with a mask made from a dry fit material having capacity to move sweat away from a body of a user (via wicking means); the mask having straps for fitting of a VR headset within the mask to ensure the VR headset will not experience relative movement in relation to the mask during use; and a pair of wireless headphones. The headphones rest in between two layers of fabric within the mask. The device is suitable for use with VR systems and equipment.
