REMOTE MONITORING OF LIVE CATCH RODENT TRAPS
A live catch trap having a light-based sensor mounted therein and remote communication capability is provided. The light-based sensor may be a visual image device such as a CMOS or CCD camera that evaluates the status of the trap interior for the presence of insects and/or rodents. The camera may be activated to check the trap interior either periodically or in response to an event as detected by one or more sensors such as a motion detector, accelerometer, pressure sensor and/or temperature sensor. Alternatively, the trap may include a reflectivity sensor or a photo sensor including arrays of LEDs and photodiodes. The trap includes a microprocessor that evaluates the data collected by the light-based sensor to determine what type of activity has been sensed and then reports this information wirelessly to a remote user.

SELF-ARMING ELECTRONIC RODENT TRAP AND SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR USE THEREOF
A rodent trap having a remote arming capability and a method of deploying a rodent trap in an unarmed state and then arming the trap after a wait period without the user having to again physically access the trap is provided. The trap, preferably embodied as an electronic rodent trap, may be configured with wireless remote arming capability, timed arming functionality, activity based arming and the like. When in the unarmed state, the trap operates in a monitoring mode in which the trap can monitor and evaluate activity and/or interactions with the trap and can send and receive wireless communication signals.

Animal detection
A detection apparatus for identifying the presence of a target warm blooded animal in a detection zone and a method of detecting a warm-blooded animal are disclosed. The detection apparatus utilizes a thermal imaging camera, a sensor, and a microcontroller to capture data on an array and interpret data, and a signaller for sending data indicating the presence of a target animal.
Trap for rodents
1. A trap for rodents, including in particular rats, said trap comprising: a housing; and a trapping chamber in which a passage extends from the side(s) of the housing. The trap further comprises two electric poles, of which the one electric pole is disposed outside the trapping chamber and a reservoir. The trap is moreover configured with a transport mechanism for the transport of the trapping chamber with rodent between a lower position in which the rodent is able to run into the trapping chamber and an upper position in which the trapping chamber is able to discharge a destroyed rodent into the reservoir. The trapping chamber and the electric poles comprise means to the effect that the electric poles can be caused to be situated close to each other within the trapping chamber.

WIRELESS NOTIFICATION SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR ELECTRONIC RODENT TRAPS
A remote notification electronic rodent trapping system and method is provided having a plurality of rearming electronic rodent trapping devices configured to wirelessly communicate trap information to a base station that is in communication with a cloud server. When a trap is activated by a rodent trigger it changes from a set state to a kill alert state and initiates a killing cycle. The trap waits a first time period and then sends a notification signal to the base station of trap activation which the base station forwards to the cloud server. The cloud server waits a second predetermined time period before sending a pushed notification to a remote user of the trap's kill alert state. If the trap rearms prior to expiration of the second time period, it alerts the base station which notifies the cloud server. The cloud server updates trap status to the set state and does not send a notification to the user.
