Luminescent markings
Reflective luminescent markings on a road or sign surface are formed by applying onto the surface a base material which is liquid in an initial state for application and sets or cures to form a solid layer after application where the base material contains a fine/medium filler material of glass ground from recycled materials in a rotary mill. Coarse material from the grinder is separated out and supplied as a separate material to be applied onto the surface of the layer of base material and fine ground glass. The base material is connected or impregnated with a luminescent material such as photo luminescent 2 4 6 trichlorophenyl in a binder such as polyurea.
Protection film for a terminal curved surface and manufacture method thereof
The present application belongs to the technical field of manufacture for protection film for a terminal curved surface, and relates to a protection film for a terminal curved surface and manufacture method thereof, the hardened layers is provided on both sides of the substrate layer, and the substrate layer and the two hardened layers form the original sheet. The original sheet is hot-pressed by a hot pressing device, and the upper mold and the lower mold clamping the original sheet are heated, pressurized and cooled in order to obtain a protection film for a terminal curved surface, and the mold core outer rounded corner combining with the mold cavity inner rounded corner are pressurized to form a curved surface portion. The hardened layers is disposed on both sides of the substrate layer, so that the stress on both sides of the substrate layer are cancel each other after the substrate layer is heated, and the terminal surface protective film is more flat. The protection film for a terminal curved surface is easy to be molded, sensitive to be touched, high in hardness, and the outer side hardness can reach 9H, which is not easy to produce scratches, anti-fingerprint, anti-fragmentation edge, explosion-proof, and the protection film for a terminal curved surface has a curved surface portion suitable for protecting the terminal curved screen.
OUTER WALL MATERIAL AND METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING SAME
An outer wall material includes a first transparent member integrally or separately including a transparent plate material and a prism portion; and a reflection member provided on a second side of the prism portion of the first transparent member. The prism portion causes the reflection member to collect light whose angle with respect to a normal line of the plate material is equal to or greater than a predetermined angle and to retro-reflect the collected light, and transmits light whose angle with respect to the normal line of the plate material is less than the predetermined angle.
Cold-formed glass article and assembly process thereof
Embodiments of an article comprising a cold-formed glass substrate in a curved shape, a plurality of separate mechanical retainers, and a frame are disclosed. The cold-formed glass substrate has a first major surface, and a second major surface opposing the first major surface. In one more embodiments, the plurality of separate mechanical retainers are attached to the second major surface of the cold-formed glass substrate. The mechanical retainers may be attached to the frame to define a position for each of the plurality of mechanical retainers, such that the mechanical retainers define the curved shape. Embodiments of processes to form such articles are also provided. Such processes can include attaching a plurality of separate mechanical retainers to a flexible glass substrate such that the glass substrate maintains its flexibility, and attaching the mechanical retainers to a frame, such that the mechanical retainers attached to the frame define a cold-formed curved shape for the flexible glass substrate.
COATING COMPOSITION HAVING INFRARED REFLECTIVE FUNCTION, COATING GLASS AND METHOD FOR PREPARATION THEREOF, AND COOKING APPLIANCE USING SAME
A coating composition, coating glass and a method for preparation thereof, and a cooking appliance including the coating class are described. The coating composition includes a coating material and a heat conductive oxide nano powder that is 5 to 10 wt % with respect to a weight of the coating material. The coating composition provides an excellent infrared reflective function, a high transmittance, and an excellent cleaning performance.
COATING COMPOSITION HAVING HIGH LIGHT TRANSMITTANCE, COATING GLASS AND METHOD FOR PREPARATION THEREOF, AND COOKING APPLIANCE USING SAME
A cooking appliance includes a cooking chamber, a door that is configured to open and close the cooking chamber and has a door glass, a coating layer that is disposed at least one surface of the door glass and made of a coating composition. The coating composition includes 20 to 40 wt % of phosphorus pentoxide (P.sub.2O.sub.5), 15 to 30 wt % of aluminum oxide (Al.sub.2O.sub.3) and zirconium dioxide (ZrO.sub.2), 10 to 30 wt % of sodium oxide (Na.sub.2O) and potassium oxide (K.sub.2O), 10 to 25 wt % of boron trioxide (B.sub.2O.sub.3), and 10 to 15 wt % of zinc oxide (ZnO).
Substrate Having a Burnable Coating Mask
A substrate having a burnable coating mask includes: a substrate having a first section and a second section; a mask coating layer over the first section of the substrate; and a functional coating layer over at least a portion of the mask coating layer and over the second section of the substrate. A method of segmenting a substrate having a layer thereover, a method of preparing a segmented substrate having a layer thereover, a segmented substrate, and a transparency are also disclosed.
Glass member for display device, method of fabricating the glass member, and display device including the glass member
A glass member for a display device, a method of fabricating a glass member, and a display device including a glass member are provided. A method of fabricating a glass member for a display device includes: preparing a glass substrate including a first surface, a second surface facing the first surface, and a side surface connecting the first surface to the second surface; forming a protection layer on the side surface to cover a portion of the side surface; and etching a portion of the glass substrate exposed by the protection layer.
PATTERNS FOR DETERRING BIRD COLLISIONS, ARTICLES INCLUDING SUCH PATTERNS, AND ASSOCIATED METHODS
Certain example embodiments relate to making use of the difference in visually perceivable spectra as between humans and birds to create at least pseudo-random and generally non-repeating patterns that help deter birds from colliding with building facades and other transparent barriers, techniques for creating such patterns, articles including such patterns, and methods of making such articles. The patterns include design elements or areas of a UV-reflective material that is visible to birds and may or may not be easily perceivable to humans. The patterns may be created in accordance with a plurality of design rules embodied in a computer-implemented algorithm. Design rules relate to position, rotation, and/or size randomness of the design elements included in the pattern. Execution of the algorithm defines the pattern. Once the pattern is defined, the transparent substrate can have the pattern applied thereto via any suitable manufacturing technique.
