LOW CONTRAST ANTI-REFLECTION ARTICLES WITH REDUCED SCRATCH AND FINGERPRINT VISIBILITY

Embodiments of articles including a low-contrast anti-reflection coating are disclosed. The coated surface of such articles exhibits a reduced difference in reflectance between a pristine state and when a surface defect is present. In one or more embodiments, the coated surface of such articles exhbits a first average reflectance in the range from about 0.6% to about 6.0% in a pristine condition and a second avearge reflectance of about 8% or less after removal of a surface thickness of the anti-reflection coating. In other embodiments, the coated substrate exhibits a second average reflectance of about 10% or less, when the coated surface comprises a contaminant. In some embodiments, the coated substrate exhibits a first color coordinate (a*.sub.1, b*.sub.1) in a pristine condition and a second color coordinate (a*2, b*2) after the presence of a surface defect such that Aa*b* is about 6 or less.

The present invention provides a laminate that can eliminate adsorption defects of a substrate caused by warping of the substrate and enables electronic devices to be manufactured at high yield. The present invention pertains to a laminate that is provided with a support base material, an adhesion layer, and a substrate in said order. The substrate is provided with a dielectric multilayer film in which dielectric layers having different refractive indexes are alternately laminated on an outer surface of the substrate. The substrate provided with the dielectric multilayer film is disposed on the adhesion layer such that the dielectric multilayer film adheres in a peelable manner to the adhesion layer.

An electronic device may have a housing surrounding an interior in which electrical components are mounted. A display may be mounted to housing structures in the device. The housing may have a rear wall. The display cover layer and rear wall of the housing may be formed from transparent glass layers. Coatings may be formed on inwardly and/or facing surfaces of the transparent glass layers. A coating on a transparent glass layer may be formed from one or more PVD layers. A buffer layer that includes a hybrid material with an organic component may be interposed between the glass layer and the PVD layers to increase the retained bend strength of the glass layer. Alternatively or additionally, the PVD layers may form a thin-film interference filter, and some of the PVD layers may be formed from the hybrid material to increase the retained bend strength of the glass layer.

WINDOW AND DISPLAY DEVICE COMPRISING THE SAME

A window for a display device that includes: a base substrate; a first coating layer disposed on a first surface of the base substrate; and a second coating layer disposed on a second surface that overlaps the first surface of the base substrate, wherein the base substrate further includes a vertical surface perpendicular to the first surface and the second surface, and the first coating layer overlaps the vertical surface. The impact resistance of the window is improved through the first coating layer covering the rear surface and the vertical surface of the base substrate.

Methods for camera movement compensation

A method, system, apparatus, and/or device for adjusting or removing frames in a set of frames. The method, system, apparatus, and/or device may include: associating a first frame of a set of frames with motion data that is captured approximately contemporaneously with the first frame; when a sampling rate of the motion data is greater than a frame rate of the set of frames, aggregating a first sample of the motion data captured at the first frame and a second sample of the motion data captured between the first frame and a second frame of the set of frames to obtain a movement value; when the movement value does not exceed a first threshold value, accepting the first frame from the set of frames; and when the movement value exceeds the first threshold value, rejecting the first frame from the set of frames.
