The resilient wiper is positioned at least partially in the aperture and arranged to engage the portion of the eyewear upon insertion into the aperture. The alignment feature defines at least a portion of the aperture and is oriented to guide the portion of the eyewear toward the resilient wiper.

At least one flexible forehead strap may follow the lower edge of the energy management layer and may be inwardly offset from the inner surface. At least two prongs may be coupled to, and slidably extend between, the flexible forehead strap and the at least two coupling points, respectively. A continuous gap between the inner surface and the flexible forehead strap may be provided by an offset created by the at least two prongs, the at least two prongs flexibly maintaining the offset.

A helmet mount system for attaching a device to a helmet comprises a threaded interface assembly having an outer portion and a threaded insert received within a cavity formed in the outer portion. The outer portion has an inward facing surface configured to receive an adhesive layer for coupling the inward facing surface to a surface of the helmet. In a further aspect, a ballistic helmet having the helmet mount system herein is provided, wherein the helmet mount system does not penetrate a ballistic layer of the ballistic shell.

When force is applied to the exterior surface, the structures of the impact absorbing materials deform in a desired and controlled manner, reducing the force received by the interior layer.

The plurality of helmet liners has a sequentially increasing size ranging between a minimum size and a maximum size. In this way a selected number of the plurality of helmet liners can be stacked inside each other to accommodate a variety of head sizes. Each of the helmet liners is comprised of a resiliently compressible material to facilitate the user's head to be protected from impact energy when the user wears the helmet.
