A conductive paste includes electrically conductive particles, a binder, an organic solvent, a glass powder, and a specific amount of inorganic oxide particles that are at least partially surface-coated with an organophosphorus compound and have a specific average particle size. Solar cell electrodes formed by firing the conductive paste have increased bond strength with a substrate.
ANTIMICROBIAL PHASE-SEPARATING GLASS AND GLASS CERAMIC ARTICLES AND LAMINATES
A glass laminate for an architectural element has a glass substrate coupled to the architectural element and defines a primary surface facing away from the architectural element. A phase-separable glass cladding is coupled to the primary surface. The cladding has an interconnected matrix with a first phase composition and a second phase that has a second phase composition different than the first phase composition. The second phase is distributed throughout the interconnected matrix. A copper phase is distributed within the interconnected matrix. The glass cladding has an antimicrobial log kill rate greater than about 4 as measured by an EPA Copper Test Protocol.

A glass composition, a macrocomposite, and methods of forming the macrocomposite including dispersing or immersing a metal in a glass. Preferably, the macrocomposite does not include an organic resin, an adhesive, or a polymer.
Wear resistant article and method of making
A wear resistant article including a substrate and a bulk metallic glass coating including an alloy of a base metal, a transition metal, boron, and silicon, wherein the bulk metallic glass coating has a thickness of about 0.05 millimeter or greater and a functionally graded microstructure. A method of producing an article with a wear resistant coating by additively printing a bulk metallic glass coating onto at least a portion of the article.
HINGED GLASS ARTICLE
A hinged glass article includes wings including glass and a hinge positioned between the wings. The wings fold about the hinge. The hinge includes a glass portion integrally joined to the wings and a polymer portion overlaying the glass portion. The glass portion of the hinge includes a first surface facing away from a second surface thereof. The polymer portion overlays the first surface. The glass portion of the hinge is asymmetric (with the wings unfolded) such that halves of the glass portion of the hinge do not mirror one another about a lengthwise middle of the hinge. Also, the first surface of the glass portion of the hinge is free of small inclusions impinging thereupon that have a linear cross-sectional dimension extending fully thereacross and through a center thereof greater than 2 m and less than 30 m.

The present disclosure generally relates to a fire-through aluminium paste composition to selectively fire through a passivation layer, and fired compositions thereof. In particular, the fire-through aluminium paste composition of the present disclosure comprises an aluminium component and a glass component, wherein the glass component comprises at least two glass frits. The present disclosure also relates to a processes for preparing a fire-through aluminium paste composition, and its use in the manufacture of a bifacial PERC solar cell.
