AIRBORNE PATHOGEN EXTRACTION SYSTEM
20230055789 · 2023-02-23 ·

An airborne pathogen extraction system that provides for continuous airborne pathogen particle extraction from a specifically targeted area in a room or a specifically targeted area proximate to a user. The pathogenic particles are filtered and/or disinfected before the air is returned proximate to the originating location, or are directed an area away from the user(s). The airborne pathogen extraction systems and methods lower the chances of contagion or infection from airborne pathogens, such as viruses.

MAGNETIC QUICK CONNECT

A magnetic quick connect for a fluid delivery system includes a male coupling member and a female coupling member. The male coupling member defines a first outer fluid communication path and includes a first magnetic material. A first inner member is disposed within the first outer fluid communication path and defines a first inner communication path. The female coupling member defines a second outer fluid communication path and includes a second magnetic material. A second inner member is disposed within the second outer fluid communication path and defines a second inner communication path. The male and female coupling members are detachably held together by an attractive force between the first and second magnetic materials such that the first and second outer communication paths are held in fluid communication, and the first and second inner communication paths are held in fluid communication.

Head Covering Device Providing Filtered Air

A device for filtering air for a user comprising a frame formed in a generally oval-shaped band, the band encircling the user's head, with an upper portion above the user's head and a lower portion proximate to and spaced apart from the user's chin, an intake aperture formed in the frame, and an intake air filter covering the intake aperture. The device includes an air mover chamber attached with an air-tight seal to an inside surface of the frame and communicating on one end with the intake air filter and communicating on another end with a filtered air supply inlet inside the device and an air mover disposed within the air mover chamber and configured to draw air through the intake air filter and push air out the filtered air supply inlet. The device also includes an exhaust aperture formed in the frame and an exhaust air filter covering the exhaust aperture. The device further includes a transparent face shield attached with an air-tight seal to a front surface of the frame, the shield providing a space for air between an inside surface of the face shield and the user's face, and a fabric component comprising a first portion that is air permeable configured to cover the frame and filters and a second portion that is air impermeable extending from a back surface of the frame to cover a remaining portion of the user's head and encircle the user's neck.

Surgical apparel system

A medical garment for use with a helmet, wherein the garment comprises a shell and a transparent face shield configured to define a barrier between the wearer and the environment. The transparent face shield may comprise a tab configured to be at least partially disposed within an alignment channel of the helmet when the medical garment is attached to the helmet to orient the shell relative to the helmet. The tab may also be separate from the transparent face shield and disposed on the shell of the medical garment. The transparent face shield may also comprise an attachment element configured to removably couple with a coupling member of the helmet, wherein the attachment element and coupling member comprise complementary coupling surfaces.
