Vertical Trap
A snap style vermin trap disposed on a planar platform having a concave bait box with a vertical trigger. The bait box is centrally located on the front face of the trigger and positioned at a distance above the top face of the platform so as orientate the vermin into a physical posture that greatly enhances the probability of a kill or capture. The trap may be oriented with the platform beneath or above the rapid actuation means of the snap trap and it may use an optional housing to cover the rapid actuation means.
Device for holding bait for rodents
An apparatus for holding bait for rodents that includes a housing that can be inserted into a manhole, the housing having one or more bait platform, a passage through the housing for rodents to access the bait platform, and optionally a mechanism to prohibit exposure of bait on the bait platform to the environment containing the housing.
LIQUID DISPENSER
A liquid dispenser is described, having a tank configured to deliver and present a liquid in a drink basin within a tray base. The liquid may be a liquid bait for population control of small animals To reduce evaporation and liquid waste, the tray base may be partially covered by a tray top. A spill basin may surround the drink basin, and may be configured so that tilting or inverting the liquid dispenser drains a liquid from the spill basin and drink basin back into the tank.
RODENT TRAP WITH ENHANCED ATTRACTANTS
A rodent having elements that are visually attractive to rodents. The trap incorporates nesting material, which is attractive to female mice. The trap may also include one or more stalk-like elements which are visually attractive to mice.
Bait station
A bait station including a first bait station subassembly and a second bait station subassembly removably-secured to the first bait station subassembly. The first bait station subassembly includes a housing, at least one panel-engaging member and a lid member. The housing has a body defining an axial passage and at least one radial passage in fluid communication with the axial passage. The lid member is hingedly-connected to the housing. The lid member defines a passage. The second bait station subassembly includes a bait spike and a bait spike retainer. The bait spike retainer defines an axial bait spike passage. The bait spike is movably-disposed within the axial bait spike passage of the bait spike retainer and the passage of the lid member. A portion of a bait station is also disclosed. A bait spike assembly is also disclosed. A method is also disclosed.
Tamper-resistant rodent bait station
A pre-baited consumer bait station for rodents which is gnaw resistant and has other design features to make the bait station resistant to rodenticide access by children, dogs, other pets, domestic animals, and nontarget wildlife. An injection molded translucent cover is permanently locked to a base about the cover's edges and center by elastic actuated hooks which engage receptacles on the base. The cover forms a labyrinth joint with a peripheral wall of the base. Double walls on exterior portions of the peripheral wall strengthen the walls where they form part of a closely confining bait receptacle which surrounds a bait block on portions of all sides. Circuitous internal passageways limit access to the bait. An interior wall extends to support the cover center.
Manufacturing Apparatus
A manufacturing apparatus for assembling a container including a sleeve, a bowl cover with a cavity, a closed state clamshell with a hinge having a mating protrusion, and a flexible strip having a primary and secondary end portions that are affixed with adhesive between the cover and clamshell. The manufacturing apparatus includes a base, a spindle, with primary and secondary radially extending platforms, respectively supporting primary and secondary cradles with the bowl and clamshell disposed therebetween the cradles that are rotated. The manufacturing apparatus also includes a guide slidably engaged to the base, wherein the guide directs the strip to be helically wound about the clamshell and cover with a base slide mounted adhesive nozzle that affixes the primary and secondary end portions of the strip to the cover and clamshell with a head that cuts and holds the strip with the head slidably engaged to the base.
PEST MONITORING AND NOTIFICATION
A pest detection and notification system includes one or more pest monitors and notification badges or cards. Both the pest monitors and the notification badges are capable of short-range wireless communication. Upon detection of presence of a pest, a pest monitor generates and transmits a wireless pest event message. Any notification badge present within the transmission area of the pest monitor will receive the pest event message. Each notification badge includes one or more pest event indicators, such as an audible indicator, a visible indicator, and/or a vibration motor. Upon receipt of the pest event message, the notification badge activates one or more of the pest event indicators, thus notifying the wearer that a pest presence within the transmission area has been detected.
PEST MONITORING SYSTEM WITH CONDUCTIVE ELECTRODES
A pest monitoring system generally includes a circuit, wherein the circuit is initially in a first impedance state that is configured to change to a second impedance state due to pest activity, wherein the second impedance state is lower than the first impedance state.
Dispenser apparatus
A dispenser apparatus for placement in an aircraft to eject an article into a selected external environment, the dispenser apparatus including a long open tray in the form of a bench ejector having a seat and a back, the bench having a primary end portion and an opposing secondary end portion, wherein the bench cradles the article, also included is an arm and finger on the secondary end portion that momentarily retains the article while a reciprocating beam on the primary end portion ejects the article from the bench in a rotating or spinning manner via the beam adding impact force to one side of the article while the arm and finger retain one side of the article to impart the spinning rotation to the article as it is ejected from the bench ejector.
