The chin bar may include a rear buckle configured to tighten the chin bar around the helmet. The chin bar may also include two side buckles that engage with side recesses on the helmet when the chin bar is removably coupled to the helmet. The chin bar may also include two alignment protrusions positioned to engage with alignment recesses on the helmet when the chin bar is removably coupled to the helmet.
IN-MOLDED HELMET CHINBAR
A helmet includes a shell having an interior surface, a padding disposed along the interior surface of the shell, and a chinbar. The padding defines a first engagement surface positioned at a first lateral side of the padding and a second engagement surface positioned at an opposing second lateral side of the padding. The chinbar includes a cage, a first flange, and a second flange. The cage includes a first end defining a third engagement surface and a second end defining a fourth engagement surface. The third engagement surface interfaces with the first engagement surface and the fourth engagement surface interfaces with the second engagement surface. The first flange extends from the first end of the cage. The second flange extends from the second end of the cage. The first flange and the second flange of the chinbar are embedded within the padding.
HELMET WITH ASSOCIATED ROTATION OF CHIN GUARD AND FACE MASK
The invention discloses a helmet with associated rotation of a chin guard and a face mask, comprising a helmet body, wherein the face mask and the chin guard are symmetrically hinged to a mounting groove at a side surface of the helmet body, the mounting groove is provided with a face mask rotation limiter, a face mask mount, a linkage guide annular piece connected with the face mask mount, a driving rod matched with the annular groove on the linkage guide annular piece, a chin guard mount connected with the driving rod via hinging pieces, and a chin guard rotation guide clamped on the driving rod and the chin guard mount, wherein a double-track guide groove for guiding the rotation of the chin guard is formed in the chin guard rotation guide, and the hinging pieces provided at two ends of the driving rod respectively pass through the double-track guide groove and are connected with the chin guard mount; wherein the face mask rotation limiter is mounted on the mounting groove by a connector, and the linkage guide annular piece is hinged with the chin guard rotation guide by a first rotating shaft; and the chin rotation guide is connected with the mounting groove by a connector.
Helmet with chin crush zone and integrated ventilation
A chin-bar for a helmet with a crumple zone and an integrated air-flow system formed from passages running internally from the bottom to the top of the chin-bar. A scoop at the bottom of the chin-bar controls air flow. Diffusers at the top provide de-misting and fresh air to the rider.
Helmet with split type skeleton structure
The present disclosure discloses a helmet with a split type skeleton structure. The helmet includes a helmet body; the helmet body is composed of a head guard and a chin guard which are separated; the head guard and the chin guard are mounted through cooperation between a fastened spliced skeleton and a plug pin; the spliced skeleton is composed of two skeleton connection members arranged inside the head guard and a chin skeleton arranged inside the chin guard; and hollows of a surface of the chin skeleton are fixedly connected with a plurality of one-piece structured reinforcing ribs.
Cranial protection cell
IMPROVEMENTS INTRODUCED IN A CRANIAL PROTECTION CELL, formed by an outer shell (11, 20) internally coated by absorbent material (12, 12′), said material comprising a first layer (21) immediately below the shell, of closed cell foam, rigid or semi-rigid in contact with a second layer (22) of open cell viscoelastic foam, the interface between said first and second layers being provided with interdigitations comprising cavities (24) in said first layer in which protrusions (23), provided in said second layer, fit in a complementary and cooperative manner. Absorbent supporting material are further provided in the jaw region (32), maxillary regions (33, 34) and mastoid regions. When closed, the visor (37) is embedded in the corresponding opening of the cranial protection cell, and its opening occurs in two steps, the former comprising forward movement, and the latter upward rotation. The cranial protection cell (CPC) further comprises a removable chin guard (54) whose unlocking mechanism is driven by buttons (51) located on either side of the shell.
Chin guard positioning assembly and helmet having the same
A chin guard positioning assembly connects a helmet body and a chin guard to each other. The helmet body provides a certain space to allow a user's head to be inserted thereinto and the position of the chin guard is allowed to be moved from a protective position to an open position. The chin guard positioning assembly includes a movable base part in which a position thereof is moved together with the chin guard. A fixed base part is connected to the helmet body and connected to the movable base part to serve as a reference for the movement of the position of the movable base part. A fixed magnetic force part is fixed to the fixed base part. A movable magnetic force part is fixed to the movable base part to fix the movable base part to a first position or a second position.
Ballistic helmet
A ballistic helmet comprising a ballistic shell, wherein within the thickness of the ballistic shell, or inside the ballistic shell, there is provided one or more circuit layers forming a circuit, which circuit comprises a power bus and a data bus, and wherein one or more power connections and one or more data connections are provided on the inside and/or on an edge of the ballistic shell for providing power and data to/from one or more electrical devices through the circuit.
Apparatus for safe eating and drinking in public during airborne contamination
The invention provides an equipment and a system that addresses the key concerns of eating/drinking in public while minimizing the chance of contamination of the eater and the public in general. The equipment can be a face mask, a face shield or a helmet that completely encloses at least the mouth and the nose of a person while providing intermittent access to the mouth without removal of the equipment. A mouth opening is provided on the equipment which is selectively blocked or unblocked by a covering element moved by a moving mechanism that moves the cover element to block or unblock the mouth opening. The mouth opening is selectively blocked or unblocked based on the distance between an activating element provided on a utensil or a wearable device and a receiving element provided on the equipment.
