PROCESS FOR THE PRODUCTION OF COMPOSITE ARTICLES
Process for the production composite articles, comprising the steps of: a) providing a curable mixture comprising: 30-95 wt % of filler material, —5-70 wt % of resin, selected from unsaturated polyester resins, vinyl ester resins, (meth)acrylate resins, and combinations thereof, 0.5-10 phr of at least one peroxyester, 0.1-2.0 phr of at least one organic hydroperoxide, the weight ratio peroxyester/organic hydroperoxide being below 14.0, the curable mixture being essentially free of ketone peroxide, b) shaping the mixture, and c) heating the shaped mixture at a temperature in the range 60-100° C. to affect hardening of the resin and the formation of an article.

LOW DENSITY SYNTACTIC FOAMS VIA MATERIAL EXTRUSION ADDITIVE MANUFACTURING
An ink formulation for additive manufacturing of low density syntactic foams is described. The ink formulation can include a thermoset resin, a curing agent suitable for use with the thermoset resin, a plurality of hollow spheres, such as glass microballoons, one or more solvents, and one or more non-hollow, viscosity modifying filler. Also described are a method of preparing the ink formulation, a method of preparing three-dimensional objects comprising low density syntactic foams, and the three-dimensional objects prepared thereby.

CEMENT COMPOSITIONS WITH 3D GRAPHENE CARBONS
Cement compositions including ordinary Portland cement, a secondary cementitious material (SCM) including one or more of pozzolan, metakaolin, limestone, or gypsum in an amount of up to approximately 70% of a replacement level of ordinary Portland cement, and between approximately 0.05% by weight of cement (bwoc) and 2% bwoc of aggregates of mesoporous carbon nanoparticles (3DG) carbons. The cement compositions regulate nucleation and time-lapsed growth of calcium silica hydrates during initial hydration. The 3DG carbons include aggregates of mesoporous carbon nanoparticles, which include one or more interconnected bundles of electrically conductive graphene layers. The 3DG carbons include oxygen containing functional groups disposed on one or more of the surfaces of the 3DG carbons or within the 3DG carbons.
INDUSTRIAL FLUIDS WITH DILUTION RESISTANCE AND TUNABLE VISCOSITY, AND METHODS OF MAKING AND USING INDUSTRIAL FLUIDS
Disclosed herein are compositions and methods for increasing the viscosity of a calcium-containing fluid by addition of a modifying agent. The resulting enhanced viscosity fluid may be used in a variety of applications including drilling, to create an enhanced-viscosity fluid, and demolition/mining to create an expansive putty for use in underwater and overhead applications.
