COMPOSITION FOR AERATED OR LIGHTWEIGHT CONCRETE
Aqueous compositions may be used preparing special concretes like aerated concrete or lightweight concrete. Such an aqueous composition for preparing such concretes, may combine water, a hydraulic binder, and an aggregate that is ground in the presence of a particular anionic polymer. The ground aggregate is selected from slag, fly ash, sand, and combinations thereof.

Hydrophobic low shrinkage lightweight cementitious matrix
The present invention provides a composition for forming a lightweight, low shrinkage and hydrophobic cementitious matrix, and a method for preparing thereof. The present cementitious matrix formed by the composition is lightweight, hydrophobic (or water repelling) and with low shrinkage which is useful in building and construction industry as non-structural wall resistant to water, heat and sound entry. The present invention also provides a method of preparing the composition and the cementitious matrix formed from the composition.

METHOD FOR THE CONTINUOUS PRODUCTION OF A LOW-DENSITY MINERAL FOAM
A method for the continuous production of a mineral foam of which the density in the dry state (d) is from 40 to 600 kg/m.sup.3, includes (i) mixing cement; a water reducing agent; 0.5 to 10%, % by weight with respect to the total weight of cement, of ultrafine particles having a liquid-solid contact angle comprised from 30° to 140°, and of which the D50 is from 10 to 600 nm; water, with a water/cement weight ratio from 0.3 to 2.5; (ii) adding to the mixture from 0.5 to 10% of a pore-forming agent, % by weight with respect to the weight of cement; (iii) applying the mixture obtained at step (ii) on a support; (iv) leaving the mixture to expand on the support.

Lightweight foam concrete with elemental sulfur
A foam concrete with elemental sulfur has constituents that include a cement, a fine filler, an elemental sulfur in powder form, a coarse aggregate, a water, and a foam solution. The foam solution includes a foaming agent and a foaming water. The foam concrete has a compressive strength of at least 26 MPa, a thermal conductivity of less than 0.30 W/mK and a maximum dry weight of 1620 kg/m.sup.3.
Foaming Agent for Building Material/Binder Pastes
A foaming agent, more particularly for the foaming of a building material/binder paste for producing pory lightweight-construction and insulating materials, is improved in terms of its stability and usefulness at relatively low outdoor temperatures. The foaming agent in the form of an aqueous-organic solution comprises or consists to an extent of at least 85 wt % of the following constituents: a) a surfactant component which comprises at least one foam-forming ionic surfactant, b) a fatty alcohol component which comprises at least one fatty alcohol and at least one ethoxylated fatty alcohol in a FA/FAEO mixing ratio of 95:5 to 0:100, c) a glycol component which comprises at least one constituent of the group of alkyl glycols, alkylene glycols up to C6 alkyl, diglycols, especially alkyl diglycols and diglycol ethers, and water.
