Unique Formulations/Mixtures and Unique and Improved Processes for Manufacturing Structural Insulated Panels Systems (SIPS)
The invention is the development of new and unique formulations and mixtures along with unique and improved manufacturing processes for a clear departure for all manufacturing processes in which cement-based formulations and mixtures are commonly utilized in manufacturing SIPS of the prior art and or the teachings of the poured/casted/formed cement based formulations/mixtures and manufacturing processes of the prior art of building/construction industry. The invention serves the current building/construction industry with new and unique formulations and mixtures along with unique and improved manufacturing processes that produce SIPS with enhanced performance characteristics which are unparalleled teachings not present, nor found in any of the prior art.
PROCESS FOR TREATING A SUBSTRATE MADE OF STONE MATERIAL
A process for treating a substrate made of stone material, preferably in the form of slabs, is provided which process improves the mechanical, thermal and catalytic properties of the substrate. The process includes applying a protective coating to the outer surface of the substrate made of stone material and, to improve adhesion of the protective coating to the outer surface of the substrate, preliminarily subjecting the substrate to one or more pre-treatment steps that eliminate or reduce the presence of pollutants and porosity on the surface of the substrate. The pre-treatment of the substrate made of stone material comprises at least one step of treatment under vacuum conditions inside an autoclave, preferably under pressure conditions lower than 10.sup.2 mbar. Then, after having brought the substrate back to ambient pressure, it is possible to apply and effectively adhere the protective coating to the surface of the stone material.
Artificial agglomerate stone article comprising feldspar granules
The invention relates to the use of feldspar granules with a particular combination of oxide constituents in the manufacture of artificial agglomerate stone materials and to the agglomerate stone materials resulting thereof.
Porous, permeable metal-cement based concretes and methods for making same
A method for manufacturing a concrete product includes providing a metal-based cementing agent, and an acid-based cement reacting agent of the form H.sub.nXO.sub.m, where X is an element selected from group consisting of phosphorous, carbon, sulfur and boron, n and m are selected so that the cement reacting agent is an acid, and X will bond with the metal-based cementing agent to form a metal cement. The method further includes providing an aggregate defined by an exposed surface area having metallic aggregate linking elements thereon which can chemically bond with X in the presence of the acid-based cement reacting agent, and providing a hydroxide-supplying additive. The method includes combining together the metal-based cementing agent, the acid-based cement reacting agent, the aggregate and the hydroxide-supplying additive, and allowing the metal-based cementing agent and the acid-based cement reacting agent to react and bond with the aggregate to form the concrete product.
METHOD FOR PRODUCTION OF ACOUSTICAL PANELS
The disclosure provides a method of decreasing the water load needed to form a fibrous panel. The process includes admixing a mineral wool, a cellulose, and a binder to provide a pre-mixed slurry, admixing a mineral filler with water to provide a mineral filler slurry, admixing the pre-mixed slurry and the mineral filler slurry to form a dispersion, flowing the dispersion onto a foraminous support wire to provide a green board, dewatering the green board to form a dewatered green board and drying the dewatered green board to provide a fibrous panel.

Transparent artificial chips and artificial marble comprising the same
The present invention relates to transparent chips for artificial marble and artificial marble including the same. The transparent chips for artificial marble include (A) a halogenated epoxy acrylate resin and (B) metal fibers. The transparent chips are fabricated by adding metal fibers to a transparent resin. The transparent chips for artificial marble can implement both linear stripe patterns and three-dimensional effects inherent thereto, thereby providing an aesthetically pleasing appearance.
