Low density inorganic powder insulator using expanded perlite, method for manufacturing same and mold machine for manufacturing same
09770848 · 2017-09-26 · ·

The present invention relates to a method for manufacturing a low density inorganic powder insulator having a low density molded structure using expanded perlite without a binder and a mold machine for manufacturing the same, and more particularly, to a technology of uniformly dispersing perlite particles having a shape of irregular fragments of glass using expanded perlite to form a framework among synthetic silica to improve molding strength even at a low density, thereby reducing thermal conductivity (conduction and convection blocking) due to a low density and an increase in a specific surface area. Further, the present invention relates to a method for manufacturing a low density inorganic powder insulator having a molded structure using economical expanded perlite having excellent physical properties by compression-molding a clad sheet material using a mold machine having a porous plate and a filter so as to remove pressure and air, which are generated during compression due to the use of the clad sheet material having low specific gravity and a large specific surface area, from a molded product or manufacturing the clad sheet material into a compressed clad sheet using a compression roller, and a mold machine for manufacturing the same.

A container, that includes a transparent portion, which reveals an interior portion of the container, an access aperture communicating with the interior portion of the container, and a lid adjacent the access aperture. A first liquid component is placed into the interior portion. A second liquid component is poured into the interior portion. The lid of the container is closed to fully enclose the first and second liquid components. The components are agitated until the first and second liquid components are a mixture of uniform color, without an appearance of marbling and swirling, when viewed through the transparent portion of the container. The lid is opened to expose the mixture of uniform color. The mixture of uniform color is poured from the container into a receiving structure. The mixture of uniform color is transformed into a closed-cell polyurethane structure within the receiving structure.

LIGHTWEIGHT BLOCKS WITH STONE-LIKE APPEARANCE AND METHOD OF MANUFACTURE
20210396005 · 2021-12-23 ·

The present disclosure describes modular blocks configured to give the appearance of natural or cut stone. An aesthetic coating composition may be applied to one or more surfaces of a block having a low-density, such as an insulating concrete form (ICF), to form an modular block having the appearance of cut stone. The aesthetic coating composition includes a binder component, such as a cementitious binder made from white Portland cement, or a polymer binder such as an acrylic binder, an aggregate component, such as a limestone aggregate component, and optionally an adhesive component. The aggregate component includes a fine sand portion and a coarse sand portion that effectively enable the appearance of cut stone after finishing of the aesthetic coating surface via sanding, polishing, sandblasting, acid etching, acid finishing, or exposed aggregate finishing.

COLLECTION APPARATUS FOR COLLECTING PARTICULATE MATTER GENERATED IN BRAKE SYSTEM OF TRANSPORT FACILITY
20220205499 · 2022-06-30 ·

The present invention relates to a collection apparatus for collecting particulate matter generated due to friction between a rotor and a brake pad in a brake system of a transport facility, the collection apparatus including a first collector configured to surround a portion of an outer side surface of the rotor, an upper collector configured to surround a portion of an outer peripheral surface of the rotor, and a second collector configured to surround a portion of an inner side surface of the rotor, wherein the first collector and the second collector are made of porous ceramic foam. According to the present invention, particulate matter generated due to friction between a rotor and a brake pad in a brake system of a transport facility can be efficiently collected, and by reducing the amount of particulate matter generated when braking a transport facility, air pollution can be prevented.
