Multi-component sole structure having an auxetic configuration
An article of footwear includes a sole structure with a midsole component and an inner sole component. The midsole component includes holes arranged in an auxetic configuration. The midsole component and the inner sole component may have a different density. The midsole component and the inner sole component may have a different compressibility.
Auxetic structures and footwear with soles having auxetic structures
A material that includes at least one layer made of an auxetic structure and articles of footwear having soles comprising the materials. The articles of footwear have sole components that have at least one layer made of a material that has a pattern of geometrical patterns. The geometrical patterns have hinged portions that rotate with respect to each other when the sole is under lateral or longitudinal tension, thus increasing the lateral and longitudinal dimensions of the sole. The sole component may include a pattern of recesses with varying depths, sizes, and shapes disposed along the inner surface as well as the outer surface of the sole component.
Sole structure with holes arranged in auxetic configuration
An article of footwear includes a sole structure with a midsole component. The midsole component includes a plurality of holes arranged in an auxetic configuration. The plurality of holes includes through holes and blind holes. The blind holes surround the through holes.
Expandable shoe capable to grow with a wearer/user's feet for more than three sizes
An expandable shoe (01) capable to grow with a wearer/user's feet comprising: an upper (18) together with an expanding sole (16) which are capable of automatically adjusting and adapting comfortably to a wearer's feet resulting in increased comfort, usability and postponed obsolescence; wherein the sole (16) having a plurality of flaps (14) growing upwards from the bottom surface of the sole (16) around the sole's (16) circumference; wherein the shoe (01) provided with adjustment mechanisms including plurality of cuts being positioned at different locations in the sole (16) having some and/or equal and/or more distance between the flaps (14) and wherein said cuts effectively vary length and width of the shoe (01) and vary interior size of the shoe (01) to provide a comfortable fit to a wearer/user.
Tripod running shoes
A running shoe having an improved sole including one or more cushioning elements disposed at or around one or more of the foot's tripod strike points, wherein such cushioning elements may optionally be connected to each other by one or more bridges and the region bounded by the cushioning elements is vertically enlarged to provide added space for various structures of the foot to deform.
Sole structure having differing hardness regions
A sole structure of an article of footwear includes a first outer region, a second outer region, and a third outer region. The first outer region is at least partially disposed a first distance from a longitudinal axis and includes a first hardness. The second outer region is at least partially disposed a second distance from the longitudinal axis and includes a second hardness that is greater than the first hardness. The third outer region is at least partially disposed between the first outer region and the second outer region a third distance from the longitudinal axis and includes a third hardness that is greater than the first hardness and less than the second hardness. The second distance is greater than the first distance, and the third distance is greater than the first distance and less than the second distance.
Co-molded 3D elements
Describes are support elements for a sole of a shoe, in particular a sports shoe, a sole and a shoe with such a support element, as well as a method for the manufacture of a support element. As examples, the support element includes a first partial member formed of a first material, and a second partial member formed of a second material. The first partial member is mechanically joined to the second partial member in a connection region, wherein the connection region is configured to allow the first partial member to rotate or slide relative to the second partial member. The first partial member, the second partial member, and the connection region can be co-molded and joined together in a single fabricating step.
