SKATE OR OTHER FOOTWEAR
A skate (e.g., an ice skate) for a skater (e.g., a hockey player). The skate comprises a skate boot for receiving a foot of the skater and a skating device (e.g., a blade and a blade holder) disposed beneath the skate boot to engage a skating surface (e.g., ice). At least part of the skate boot and optionally at least part of one or more other components (e.g., the skating device) may be constructed from one or more materials (e.g., foams) molded by flowing in molding equipment during a molding process (e.g., injection molding or casting). This may allow the skate (or other footwear) to have useful performance characteristics (e.g., reduced weight, proper fit and comfort, etc.) while being more cost-effectively manufactured. Other articles of footwear are also provided.
THREE-DIMENSIONALLY THERMO-MOLDED FOOTWEAR
Articles of footwear including a thermo-molded upper having a skin composed of one or more low melting point thermoplastic polymers. The skin may include at least one of: a base layer composed of a low melting point thermoplastic polymer and a grid layer including a yarn composed of a low melting point thermoplastic polymer. The uppers may be formed by placing a skin and an inflatable bladder into a mold cavity and heating the mold to a predetermined temperature. The inflatable bladder may be inflated such that the skin is pressed against an interior surface of the heated mold cavity to cause the skin to take on the shape of the internal surface of the mold cavity, thereby forming an upper for an article of footwear.
Process for thermo-adhesive bonding of semi-finished products
A process for thermo-adhesive bonding of semi-finished products includes preparing an inner sock, an outer sock and an impermeable membrane provided with a thermo-adhesive disposed on an inner surface and/or an outer surface of the membrane; fitting the inner sock onto a rigid reference shape; fitting the membrane over the inner sock; fitting the outer sock over the membrane; heating the outer sock, the membrane and the inner sock arranged on the rigid reference shape in an oven until at least partial melting of the thermo-adhesive; cooling the outer sock, the membrane and the inner sock arranged on the rigid reference shape until cross-linking of the thermo-adhesive and stable bonding of the membrane to the outer sock and/or the inner sock. Also, exerting a substantially uniform pressure on the outer sock, the membrane and the inner sock disposed on the rigid reference shape during cooling, so as to compact them.

Other articles of footwear are also provided.
DEVICE CLAMPING, MULTI-PURPOSE, WITH REMOVABLE, INTERCHANGEABLE AND CUSTOMIZABLE PLATE
The present invention relates to a multipurpose and customizable mechanical device with technical functionality of tightening closure structured to create articles and fashion accessories and/or objects for domestic and industrial use, which consists of two parts, one of which is composed of a plate with pin and the other is composed of three plates with housing, that are joined together, of which central plate incorporates a lever that allows the rotation of this plate up to the stop, also by means of a spring, ensuring the locking closure of the two parts of the devise when they are simply superimposed one on top of the other, without needing to rotate one over the other to lock them.
SOLE STRUCTURE FOR AN ARTICLE OF FOOTWEAR
A sole structure for an article of footwear includes a midsole having a top surface, a bottom surface opposite the top surface, and a peripheral surface extending between the top surface and the bottom surface. The bottom surface includes a recess defining a first opening in the peripheral surface. The sole structure for an article of footwear also includes an insert disposed within the recess and including a first material having a first gloss unit value and a second material disposed on an outer surface of the first material and having a second gloss unit value. The second material is at least partially disposed within the first opening.
Ornament clamp
An ornament clamp apparatus attachable/removable to/from a lace including an ornament body and a clamping assembly for cooperating therewith for attaching the ornament body to the lace; the clamping assembly including a male connector and a female connector, the male connector having curved arms extending downwards from the ornament body, and the female connector possessing a U-shape structure which fits onto the male connector.
METHOD OF FORMING AN ARTICLE OF FOOTWEAR
A method of forming an upper for an article of footwear includes providing a first material layer over a shoe last, providing a second material layer over the first material layer such that the first and second material layers adhere to each other at an interface between the first and second material layers, where one or both of the first material layer and second material layer is provided by spray forming a polymer material onto the last. The material layers are removed from the last and turned inside out such that the first material layer includes an exposed surface that forms an exterior surface of the upper.
Articles with structures formed from sequins
Hot melt sequins and methods of applying these sequins are disclosed. The sequins may be stitched to a layer of an article in a pattern to form a relatively rigid structure. The sequins may be made of a hotmelt material and melted to form a continuous structure. The sequins may be located along a lacing region and used as eyelets to secure laces.
Shoe having a partially coated upper
Provided is a shoe that includes a sole and an upper extending above the sole. The upper has an outer surface and is made of a base material that is partially covered with a coating material, such that the coating material covers at least 90% but not more than 98% of the outer surface of the upper.
