Color density based thickness compensation printing
A method for printing a three-dimensional object includes printing a structural layer onto a three-dimensional object, printing a first color layer onto a first region of the structural layer, and printing a second color layer onto a second region of the structural layer. The first region includes a first structural thickness, and the second region includes a second structural thickness, which is different than the first structural thickness. The first color layer includes a first color and a first color thickness, and the first color thickness and the first structural thickness in combination form a target thickness. The second color layer includes a second color and a second color thickness, and the second color thickness and the second structural thickness in combination form the target thickness.
Mid-point indicator lace
A lace including a stitched or printed center point indicator enables a user to visually locate the center point of the lace. The lace further having a pair of aglets affixed on the distal ends thereof.
Image registration for printing
A method for printing on an article can include positioning an article in a print bed of a printing device. The fiducial is disposed in the print bed. The method can also include generating an image of the article and the fiducial, locating the fiducial in the image, using the fiducial to establish a point of reference relative to a print location on the article, providing a raster or vector graphic file comprising a graphic, printing a representation of the graphic on the article at the print location, and removing the article from the print bed.
FLEXIBLE FASTENING SYSTEM FOR SHOE TONGUE FOOTWEAR
A customizable, multi-unit elongated element. A changeable tongue for shoes, to allow for customization at the users discretion. The hook and loop elongated element may consist of two features, a woven Jacquard fabric customizable portion which may be manipulated with different colors, textures, logo/designs, etc. and a base portion that is attached directly to the original elongated element of a given shoe. The hook and loop elongated element is a solution for the desired customization of shoes.
Shoe Galosh
A high heel shoe galosh is provided having a galosh upper that extends to a galosh sole. The galosh upper defines a galosh upper shoe opening for receiving a high heel shoe. The galosh upper may be made of rubber so that the shoe opening can be expanded to allow the high heel shoe to pass through galosh upper shoe opening. The galosh sole galosh defines a heel opening that is sized such that the high heel of a high heel shoe can pass through the shoe opening. The galosh sole may be embodied with a gripping surface to enhance traction. In another embodiment there is an extended high heel shoe galosh that has a heel extension portion that extends from the galosh sole. The heel extension portion protects the high heel from the surrounding environment.
Method of customizing an article using a graphic transfer assembly
A method of customizing an article with graphics applied using a graphic transfer assembly is disclosed. The method includes a step of creating or selecting a customized graphic to be applied to an article. The article and the customized graphic are placed within the graphic transfer assembly. A deformable membrane may apply the customized graphic to curved portions of the article.
Modular Sandal
A modular sandal. The modular sandal includes a sole having an upper side and a lower side. Slots disposed on the lower side include an interior wall and a width. Channels extending from the lower side of the sole through the upper side of the sole include a diameter. Each of the channels is positioned within one of the slots. A strap including locking tabs is pivotally affixed to the sole. Each locking tab is configured to pivot between a locked position and an unlocked position. Each locking tab is configured to pass through each channel when in an unlocked position. Each locking tab frictionally engages the interior wall of each slot when in a locked position, thereby anchoring the strap to the sole.
SHOE INSOLE
An insole is provided. This insole features a front end, a thickness, a top surface, a bottom surface, a heel receiving portion having a first end and a second end, a lateral longitudinal arch support section which has a width, and a medial longitudinal arch support section. Preferably, the medial longitudinal arch support section is made up of a partial spherical cap which has a radius and a height, and the medial longitudinal arch support section runs from the first end of said heel receiving portion to the lateral longitudinal arch support section.
No bow lace loopers
A shoe lace securement system has a pair of shoe lace securing mechanisms. Each of the pair of shoe lace securing mechanisms has a spool having a pair of circular discs connected together, wherein inward facing walls of each of the pair of circular discs have a plurality of protrusions. A hollow tube connects the pair of circular discs. A conduit is attached to an upper rear area of the shoe. A stretchable strap is inserted in the conduit. A cap member is attached to each end of the stretchable strap. A pair of securing clasps are provided, each of the securing clasps comprises a tubular member having a hollow interior, the tubular member cut along a first horizontal edge through the hollow interior to a second horizontal edge, the tubular member hingly coupled at the second horizontal edge; a first opening formed through a top surface of the tubular member and in the hollow interior, and a second opening formed through a bottom surface of the tubular member and in the hollow interior.
Detachable, retro fitting light accessory for high-heeled shoes
A detachable, retrofitting light accessory for both magnetic and adhesive attachment to a high-heeled shoe having an open archway with a ferrous metal shank, having a light-emitting diode (LED) light assembly, a magnet affixed to the LED light assembly and configured to magnetically engage the ferrous metal shank in the open archway of the shoe, and to magnetically attach the light accessory to the shoe, and a double-sided adhesive strip configured for placement between the magnet and an outer surface in the open archway to also adhesively attach the light accessory to the shoe, to prevent the light accessory from slipping relative to the shoe during use.
