11285472 · 2022-03-29 · ·

A system and method for providing fertilizer for crop production in an aqueous solution comprising nano-sized fertilizer particles, which are free of any chemical side chain and free any micelle to protect the nano-sized particle from re-agglomeration, suspended therein for improved uptake by the population of the crop.

COATED FERTILIZER CONTAINING UREASE INHIBITOR

Magnesium oxide, urease inhibitor, and superphosphate coated urea-based fertilizer core, methods for their use, and production thereof, are disclosed. The coating can be a powder coating containing particles that are 1 micron to 100 microns in average mean diameter. The fertilizer core, coated by the magnesium oxide, urease inhibitor, and superphosphate coating, can contain 50 wt. % or more, based on the total weight of the core, of a urea-based fertilizer, such as urea. The coating can optionally contain or exclude anticaking agent(s), and/or binding agent(s).

USE OF A BAG HAVING AN INNER AND AN OUTER COMPARTMENT FOR FERTILIZERS

Use of a packaging system for mutually incompatible agrochemicals, particularly for fertilizers, wherein said package (5) comprises: an external bag (12) and an inner bag (10) thereby forming two compartments; the inside of the inner bag being the inner compartment (10d) and the space between the inner side of the external bag and the outer side of the inner bag being the outer compartment (11d); wherein a first of the at least two mutually exclusive fertilizers is packaged in the inner compartment, and a second of the at least two mutually exclusive fertilizers is packaged in the outer compartment.

FERTILIZER AND PLANT GROWTH PROMOTER TO INCREASE PLANT YIELD AND METHOD OF INCREASING PLANT YIELD

A slow release carbohydrate/bicarbonate/nitrogen fertilizer which includes: a nitrogen component selected from the group consisting of a urea compound, ammonium bicarbonate, ammonium sulfate and ammonium nitrate; a bicarbonate component selected from the group consisting of ammonium bicarbonate, potassium bicarbonate and sodium bicarbonate; and a soluble carbohydrate component selected from the group consisting of a starch and a sugar, wherein the fertilizer is applied to increase crop yield and increase protein levels in plant products by placing the aforesaid fertilizer beneath the surface of soil on which is growing cultivated plants.

HYDROPHOBIC COATINGS TO IMPROVE THE PHYSICAL QUALITY PARAMETERS OF FERTILIZERS

A fertilizer composition including a base fertilizer granule with a hydrophobic or super-hydrophobic coating that reduces fertilizer caking and dust formation. The coating can include a roughening component, which creates micron-scale surface roughness, and a hydrophobic coating containing wax. Together, the components of the coating act to physically protect water soluble fertilizers granules from the ingress of moisture and from caking, and increase the resistance of the granules to abrasion.
