Process and system for producing inorganic fertilizer and biomass fiber
The present invention relates to production of inorganic fertilizers and biomass fiber suitable for thermal conversion processes. A method of producing biomass fiber for thermal conversion processes and inorganic mineral fertilizer from source biomass, includes mixing size reduced source biomass and a fluid under conditions favorable for extracting inorganic nutrients from the size reduced source biomass. A liquid extract phase and a solid phase are separated from the mixture. The liquid extract phase is then concentrated to obtain the inorganic fertilizer. The solid phase is dried to obtain biomass fiber for thermal conversion processes.

Synthesis of nanocomposites and their use in enhancing plant nutrition
The present disclosure is related to the development of improved fertilizer for precision and sustainable agriculture. A method was developed wherein efficient NPK nanocomposite for plant nutrition was synthesized in a single step using aerosol science and technology concepts. Further a formulation was prepared by addition of ZnO, TiO.sub.2 and other nanoparticles to the NPK nanocomposite. Also, an aerosol based foliar application technique was developed for the precise delivery of nanoparticles to the plants.
