UREA AMMONIUM SULFATE-BASED COMPOSITION
The present disclosure is related to a solid, particulate urea ammonium sulfate-based composition, the particles comprising a core comprising urea ammonium sulfate, and a coating layer surrounding and contacting the core, comprising from about 95 weight % to about 99.9 weight % of urea and a urease inhibitor. The composition displays a higher stability of the urease inhibitor. The present disclosure also provides a method to manufacture the solid, particulate urea ammonium sulfate-based composition.
COMPOSITIONS SUITABLE FOR USE IN MAKING FERTILIZERS, METHODS FOR MAKING SUCH COMPOSITIONS, AND METHOD FOR MAKING FERTILIZERS USING THE SAME
A composition comprises a nonaqeuous, liquid carrier, an inhibitor compound, and a colorant composition comprising an azo colorant. A method for making the composition is also provided. A method for making a fertilizer composition using the disclosed composition is also provided.
Poultry litter-based fertilizer and a method for making the poultry litter-based fertilizer from poultry litter
A method for producing a poultry litter-based fertilizer by a) supplying poultry litter to a rotating rotary drum, b) adding acid or a source of acid to the rotating rotary drum, wherein acid reacts with the poultry litter to form an acidified mixture, c) adding ammonia or a source of ammonia to the rotating rotary drum, d) drying and cooling the ammoniated product by evaporation of water to form a dried, cooled product in a free-flowing semi-solid or solid form, repeating the steps b) through d) until a desired nitrogen content is reached in the poultry litter-based fertilizer.
SPECIAL FERTILIZER FOR INTERCROPPING MAIZE AND PEANUTS AND CULTIVATION METHOD FOR MAINTAINING SOIL ORGANIC CARBON BALANCE
Disclosed are a special fertilizer for intercropping maize and peanuts and a cultivation method for maintaining soil organic carbon (SOC) balance, belonging to the technical field of SOC balance. The special fertilizer for intercropping maize and peanuts includes the following raw materials: coated urea, heavy superphosphate, ammonium sulfate, fermented soybean meal, bentonite, sodium molybdate, borax, humic acid, ammonium dihydrogen phosphate, plant ash and zinc sulfate heptahydrate. The cultivation method includes the steps of land selection, land preparation, fertilizing, sowing, field management, and rotation.
SOLVENT FOR THIOPHOSPHORIC TRIAMIDE OR DICYANDIAMIDE SOLUTIONS, AND RELATED METHODS
Solvents useful with thiophosphoric triamide urease inhibitors, that provide stable solution of a thiophosphoric triamide, such as for distribution (in low or high concentrations) onto a fertilizer or other liquid or solid material that contains urea.
Fertilizer and fertilizer additive compositions and methods comprising by-products from the manufacture of fatty acid alkyl esters and/or biodiesel
Fertilizers and fertilizer additive compositions and methods are provided. The compositions and methods comprise utilizing by-products from the manufacture of biodiesel and/or fatty alkyl esters, wherein the by-product comprises glycerin, mong, moisture, C.sub.6-C.sub.24 saturated and unsaturated fatty acids, C.sub.6-C.sub.24 saturated and unsaturated fatty acid salts, methyl esters, ethyl esters and combinations thereof.
NPK-Si-humate fertilizer, method for production and use thereof
A combined organomineral NPK—Si-humate fertilizer having at least one particulate mineral NPK fertilizer is provided, which has at least one nutrient compound of nitrogen, phosphorous or potassium; and a particulate humic substance based silicon fertilizer, having chelates of monosilicic acid-humate compounds. The application also relates to a method of production of the combined organomineral NPK—Si-humate fertilizer.
Stabilized liquid ammonia fertilizer from animal waste
A liquid fertilizer is produced from off-gassed ammonia resulting from the processing of animal waste materials, particular animal manure. The vaporized ammonia is generated primarily by heating the animal waste materials and capturing the resulting vapors and particulate materials. The ammonia vapors and particles are removed from the gas stream through a scrubbing operation, which creates an ammonium-enriched liquid stream that can be concentrated into an organic fertilizer having a high-nitrogen content.
CONDITIONING AGENT FOR A PARTICULATE FERTILIZER FOR REDUCING HYGROSCOPICITY AND DUST FORMATION
The invention relates to a conditioning agent for reducing water absorption and dust formation of a particulate fertilizer, comprising 10 to 50 weight % of wax, 40 to 90 weight % of mineral oil and 1 to 15 weight % of a resin being mineral oil-soluble and miscible with wax and mineral oil, wherein the agent further comprises 0.1 to 1 weight % of a viscoelastic elastomer selected from the group of polyisobutylene and styrene-isoprene-styrene block copolymer which is soluble in mineral oil and has an average molecular weight of 30.000 to 5.000.000. The invention further relates to a particulate fertilizer composition, preferably a urea-ammonium sulfate (UAS) fertilizer, a urea fertilizer or a calcium nitrate fertilizer, comprising a particulate substrate, preferably an hygroscopic fertilizer, preferably a nitrogen-containing fertilizer, and 0.05 to 2 weight % of said coating thereon for reducing moisture uptake and dust formation of said fertilizer.
ACIDIFIED NP, PK, NPK FERTILIZER GRANULES FOR FERTIGATION
Solid acidic fertilizer granules, methods for producing the same, and methods for their use in fertigation, are disclosed. The solid acidic fertilizer granules include a plant nutrient and one or more inorganic acid distributed throughout the granules. The amount of the inorganic acid is sufficient to adjust the pH value of the fertigation solution containing the dissolved fertilizer granule to an acidic pH and prevent or reduce the precipitation of calcium in the fertigation solution.
