Method for extracting soluble Si from an amorphous SiO.SUB.2 .bearing material

The present invention relates to bioavailable (which may also be referred to as plant available) silicon, such as in the form of a concentrate or solid, and processes for producing and using bioavailable silicon.

ACIDIFIED NP, PK, NPK FERTILIZER GRANULES FOR FERTIGATION

Solid acidic fertilizer granules, methods for producing the same, and methods for their use in fertigation, are disclosed. The solid acidic fertilizer granules include a plant nutrient and one or more inorganic acid distributed throughout the granules. The amount of the inorganic acid is sufficient to adjust the pH value of the fertigation solution containing the dissolved fertilizer granule to an acidic pH and prevent or reduce the precipitation of calcium in the fertigation solution.

METHOD FOR THE PRODUCTION OF SULPHATE OF POTASH GRANULATES, SULPHATE OF POTASH GRANULATE OBTAINED THEREBY, AND USE THEREOF

The invention relates to a method for producing sulphate of potash granulates, wherein 0.1 to 7.5 wt % of a potassium chloride are added to the sulphate of potash during the granulation process, the percentage by weight being in relation to the sulphate of potash used. In addition, 0.1 to 2.5 wt % of water are added prior to or during the granulation process. The invention also relates to the granulates obtained by said method as well as the use of potassium chloride for improving the mechanical properties of sulfate of potash granulates. The sulphate of potash granulates produced by the method of the invention have significantly greater bursting strength and significantly greater abrasion resistance than granulates known from the prior art.

The invention relates to a method for producing sulphate of potash granulates, wherein 0.1 to 7.5 wt % of a sodium salt selected from among sodium chloride, sodium sulphate, sodium sulphate hydrates, sodium hydroxide and mixtures thereof are added to the sulphate of potash during the granulation process, the percentage by weight being in relation to the sulphate of potash used. In addition, 0.1 to 2.5 wt % of water are added prior to or during the granulation process. The invention also relates to the granulates obtained by said method as well as the use of sodium salts and glaserite and mixtures thereof for improving the mechanical properties of sulfate of potash granulates. The sulphate of potash granulates produced by the method of the invention have significantly greater bursting strength and significantly greater abrasion resistance than granulates known from the prior art.

ORGANIC NUTRIENT TYPE POTASSIUM SULFATE DISSOLUTION ACCELERATOR, PREPARATION THEREFOR AND USE THEREOF

The present invention relates to an organic nutrient-based dissolution accelerator for potassium sulfate and a preparation method therefor and the use thereof. The organic nutrient-based dissolution accelerator for potassium sulfate of the present invention consists of an organic acid mixture solution, tyrosine, leucine, threonine, alcohol amine, and the like. The organic nutrient-based dissolution accelerator for potassium sulfate of the present invention can not only substantially improve the dissolution speed of potassium sulfate by 6-120 times, but also provides organic nutrition for crops to achieve a synergy with inorganic nutrition to further improve the nutritional efficiency of potassium and sulfur elements.

COMPACTED POLYHALITE AND A PROCESS FOR THE PRODUCTION THEREOF

There is provided herein a process for the compaction of Polyhalite, comprising: mixing a feed of polyhalite with an inorganic binder in a mixer to yield a mixture; compacting said mixture in a compactor to yield masses; crushing said masses in a crusher to yield particles; and screening said particles in a screener to yield particles in three different sizes: oversized fine particles which undergo a second crushing process and are retuned to said screener for screening, undersized fine particles which are transferred to said mixer for further mixing and compacting, and desired size fine particles which are transferred to a polish screener for glazing and oiling.
