An enhanced biofertilizer production implementation may comprise iteratively drying, curing and turning manure composting in a windrow lane until at least one predetermined criteria is satisfied to produce unamended compost, identifying and isolating a biologically active microorganism in the unamended compost, amplifying the isolated microorganism, adding the amplified isolated microorganism to the unamended compost to produce inoculated compost and mixing the inoculated compost with biosolids or other fertilizer ingredients with biosolids to impregnate and produce enhanced biofertilizer.

MICROBIAL CONSORTIA

Disclosed herein are microbial consortia and compositions including microbes for use in agricultural or biodegradation applications. In some embodiments, soil, plants, and/or plant parts (such as seeds, seedlings, shoots, roots, leaves, fruit, stems, or branches) are contacted with a disclosed microbial consortia or composition including microbes. The microbial consortia or microbe-containing compositions may be applied to soil, plant, and/or plant parts alone or in combination with additional components (such as chitin, chitosan, glucosamine, amino acids, and/or liquid fertilizer). In additional embodiments, the disclosed microbial consortia or compositions including microbes are used in methods of degrading biological materials, such as chitin-containing biological materials.

Agricultural compositions are provided that at least one keratin protein isolated from at least one feather, at least one keratin protein isolated from human hair, and at least one carrier. The agricultural compositions provide an environmentally friendly and biodegradable alternative to traditional chemicals and biologicals. The agricultural compositions are suitable for a variety of uses including, but not limited to, increasing plant height and biomass, increasing plant, leaf, increasing stem and root weight, and increasing crop or plant yield compared to application of traditional chemicals or plant growth regulators.

Method of manufacturing an amino-acid composition using animal by-products
10023887 · 2018-07-17 ·

The present disclosure provides a method for preparing an amino acid composition using an animal byproduct, particularly a method for obtaining an amino acid composition of high quality using an animal byproduct more effectively in short time. Because an amino acid composition can be obtained from an animal byproduct more effectively and quickly using the method of the present disclosure, utilization of livestock waste, etc. can be enhanced and application as various products can be expected.

Composition of a magnesium sulphate-urea compound

The present invention relates to compositions containing at least 80% by weight, especially at least 90% by weight, based on the total weight of the composition, of at least one magnesium sulfate-urea compound selected from the compound of the formula (I) and mixtures of the compound of the formula (I) with the compound of the formula (II): [MgSO.sub.4.mCO(NH.sub.2).sub.2.nH.sub.2O] (I), [MgSO.sub.4.xCO(NH.sub.2).sub.2.yH.sub.2O] (II), in which m and x are each in the range from 0.9 to 1.1, n is in the range from 1.9 to 2.1 and y is in the range from 2.9 to 3.1, where the compositions, based on the total weight of the composition, contain less than 10% by weight of free MgSO.sub.4 in the form of the anhydrate or in the form of hydrates of magnesium sulfate and less than 10% by weight of unbound urea. The invention also relates to the production of the compositions and to the use thereof as fertilizers or fertilizer additive.
