Biogas production with select macro algae and nanoparticles added to anaerobic digester feedstock
For qualitative and quantitative production of biogas, nanoparticles and use of macroalgae when added to AD feedstock at proper concentration, temperature and time of digestion can bring a revolution to meet the future needs of energy. The process of biofuel production can be altered by using various nanomaterials in various ways, such as by improving the stability of cellulose enzymes, enhancing the catalytic production of biohydrogen, and improving biological and chemical digestion. This influence of nanoparticles on the process is determined by their distinct catalytic activity based on structure, shape and size which is complementary to the relevant process. The addition of seaweed in the AD feedstock improves biogas output and digestate quality thus enhancing the economic viability with the simultaneous positive impact of reducing global warming.
WASTE TREATMENT APPARATUS AND METHOD
The present invention relates to apparatus and methods of liquid purification and the subsequent production of useful by-products. A variety of liquids may be purified by the method and apparatus, including water and hydrocarbon mixtures/sludges. The method of treating waste products comprises the steps of adding an absorbent to the waste product to form a absorbed solid, semi-solid or fluid matrix, the matrix being then subjected to an increase in temperature. The apparatus comprises a material inlet, a heated generator tube, one or more outlets being connected with the heated generator tube, and a material outlet.

MANURE PELLETS, AND PROCESS AND EQUIPMENT FOR MAKING THE SAME
A pellet made of dried, unfermented livestock manure has N, P and K values in the range of N: 3 to 7 g/kg, as ammoniac and organic nitrogen, P: 2 to 6 g/kg as phosphorus pentoxide and K: 2 to 6 g/kg as potassium oxide (g/kg). The pellet has a hardness exceeding 10 kg and has a shell composed of manure-base lignin. A press roll, including a hollow rotatable drum with a perforated screen, may be used in combination with an endless belt and a scraper to produce the pellet.

Process and products using a rotary compression unit
A fertilizer/soil conditioner or a fuel source material is formed by processing animal waste by-products through the use of a rotary biomass dryer system. The animal waste by-product includes without limitation manure obtained from cattle or swine; feed lot bedding, poultry litter, a digestate of animal waste by-products obtained from an anaerobic digester, municipal waste, waste meat renderings, waste meat, or a mixture thereof. The processed material may comprise a higher amount of ash and a lower amount of volatile material than the animal waste by-product. The processed material may be stored as a powder or processed into pellets, logs, pucks, briquettes or another convenient shape form.

DEVICE FOR PRODUCING BIOGAS WITH HIGH METHANE CONTENT BY UTILIZING LIVESTOCK AND POULTRY FECES
The invention discloses a device for producing biogas with high methane content by utilizing livestock and poultry feces, wherein the interior of a tank body of a biogas fermentation tank is divided by a baffle, so as to form a main reaction chamber and an auxiliary reaction chamber which are communicated in upper portions, so that a reactant flows into the auxiliary reaction chamber only after entering the main reaction chamber via a relatively low feeding hole and then reaching a high position of a liquid level, and extension of fermentation time is realized, meanwhile, scales formed at the top of fermentation broth flow into the auxiliary reaction chamber along with liquid, so that the interior of the main reaction chamber keeps a liquid state all the time, and sealing and reduction of quantity of anaerobic bacteria are avoided.
